Sunway Resort Hotel

We stayed at Sunway Resort for 4 nights, and it seems the hotel has recently undergone renovations, enhancing everything from the lobby to the rooms. The spaces are functional, spacious, and comfortable, contributing to an overall pleasant staying experience. The swimming pool, catering to both kids and adults, is perfect.
Access to Sunway Pyramid and Lagoon is very convenient, requiring only a less-than-5-minute walk through the hotel without needing to go to the roadside.
However, our experience was somewhat dampened by the service. While the receptionist and bellboy provided satisfactory service, we were not pleased with the housekeeping, hotel breakfast, and gym facility workers. They exhibited unfriendliness, lacked smiles, and struggled to understand our requests. We even encountered a fly on the bread, and there was no immediate assistance. When we raised our concerns, it seemed that they did not take the matter seriously, simply disposing of the bread and walking away without providing any response. In the dining section, when inquiring about drinks for kids, they failed to mention a dedicated kid's section and instead suggested paying extra for a chocolate drink, even though we found chocolate milk and Yakult in the kid's section. Given the price of RM109 for breakfast, we feel that the food and service are not justified.
We sincerely hope that the hotel can improve its service to match the high standards set by the hotel environment. Despite these issues, we are still considering booking Sunway for our future stays in KL.
