3-Star Hotels in Kuantan

Booked for family garden chalet but in the midnight got electricity issues which the hotel authority immediately transfer us to another room for sleep. Even paid the price for family chalet then need to change to standard room (connecting room) I’m ok with that bcs the staff feels responsible and also friendly. Recommended to stay here and will repeat ✅

Never doubt about E Red Hotel because ive stay in their hotel in Bukit Mertajam last week, when i found out there have E Red Hotel in Kuantan i straightaway booked with a second doubt! Good job on the management and all the team members from E Red Hotel

The location is nice, by the Balok Beach. The pool is huge with beautiful landscape but it was close during the month of Ramadhan due to maintenance. Timurbay Seafront is like an AirBnB style accommodation, not a typical hotel or a service apartment. A variety of different hosts rent out different apartments so the quality will differ. My specific review is for: A Junior Suite by Subhome, booked thru Trip.Com & Within Earth. Thanks to Mr Soaib, he allowed us to early checked in at around 1pm and upgrade my son room to pool view and facing the ocean. Response time through whatsapp and call very efficient. Limited time check-in from 3 to 10 pm only. And check-out from 9am to 12pm only. You'll get fine for RM100/30 minutes for late check-out. Need to consider in providing amenities such tooth brush, mineral water, etc. Parking was okay, the security is good. Lots of local restaurant nearby. Will come again when we're in Kuantan.

This hotel located about 10km from Kuantan City. There are lots of warung/cafe nearby thus not to concern should you want to have your lunch or dinner.Local dishes. We took seaview bedroom with 2 king size beds. The only room available when i make the booking for me & wife. The room is spacious & seaview is lovely. Just few meter away behind the hotel is the beach. I don’t see many people swimming since the water is yellowish colour (about 5 meter from the shore). We enjoy watching fisherman go to the sea.A tractor take the boat to the shore. You need to be at the beach around 6.40 am to watch the event. Breakfast is so-so. Not too bad not too good. Acceptable to full your stomach. If you preffer hotel with pool, this is not for you. Overall we are happy to stay here.

During my business trip to Kuantan on August 7-8, 2023, I stayed at Timurbay Aseafront. The waterfront location provided a serene escape. Had a great overall experience. The service provided by the staff was excellent; they were attentive, friendly, and responsive to our needs throughout our stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, with a helpful video shared by the operator that made everything straightforward for those who can follow instructions well. However, it might be challenging for those who prefer not to read detailed instructions. One of the major highlights was the hotel's location, which is conveniently close to various attraction spots. My unit had a beautiful view facing the sunrise area, adding a special touch to the stay, although I regretfully missed the opportunity to catch the sunrise moment. The unit itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment. However, the small room, which I believe was a storeroom, was only equipped with a fan and became quite hot, making it uncomfortable for anyone to sleep in unless the door was left open. In summary, my stay was enjoyable thanks to the excellent service, prime location, and cleanliness of the unit. With some improvements to the small room's ventilation, the hotel could offer an even better experience for its guests.

Looks nice on the outside but lack cleanliness in the inside. Great location as it's situated in the town center with highly accessible to malls & restaurants. Interior design were modern & rustic, nice but overly rustic over time as deco were old & filled with spider cobwebs, standing lamps on the corridor were rusty & yellowish & filled with cobwebs, there's even long string of cobwebs in the bathroom ceiling. Plenty of mosquitoes in the bathroom/room, and that's the least thing you want from being infected with dengue as it's dengue season (raining season) now. Furnitures in the room (bedframes, cupboards, table) were old as you can tell the colors of the wood had became lighter / faded. Got a room with a keycard that doesn't work at all, was very frustrated & asked to change to another room but the owner said the place was fully booked. In the end, they gave us a key to unlock/lock the door every time we leave the room. While checking out, the staff accused us of taking a spoon when only 1 spoon were given during our stay. In the end, they just say it's ok & we left. If they do refurbish this place & do a proper cleaning, I would definitely return here to stay.

The rooms was spacious with 2 queen beds and clean too. The staff was friendly. They have Coway water filter just outside of our room. They have easy access to iron board too . They give clean towel but I think they need to change it to a new ones cause its torn already hahaha.. and please make sure the door was safety’s for customers. My room door does have a broken safety latched hope they change it and be alert about it

The facilities are relatively complete. No slippers and toothbrush. Local specialties. The bed was very comfortable. There is a balcony. The scenery is very good.
