Kumamoto Tokyu Rei Hotel

Kumamoto|2.17km from Shimada Museum
This hotel was not smooth from the time of check-in. When I tried to enter the hotel tower parking lot by car rental, a taxi was parked in front of the hotel and I couldn't enter it. When I stop at the side of the taxi, the taxi driver came down and said, ”I don't put it because it is a taxi stand here.” What is the matter with the hotel guests who can't get a car in front of the hotel? When my wife asked me to go to the front desk, the tower parking lot is not currently used, so I asked you to park at 1 900 yen per night in the affiliated parking lot away. The display of the tower parking lot is ”full car”, but it is said that ”not full car” but ”not used”. Stop the car in the affiliated three-dimensional parking lot, pull the suitcase around 200 m, and finally check in. The room was a corner room on the top floor. It was a little spacious room. The entrance is divided into toilets on the left hand, toilets and baths on the right hand, 2. It is good to be divided, but each door is not a sliding door, but it is not easy to use because it interferes. And, when entering the room from the passage, the whole room is dog legged to the right (the state spreading next to the right), so the cold air from the air conditioning blowout does not go to the right back It was cold in front of me and the back of the right was hot. Breakfast will be eaten at a tavern called ”miscellaneous fish shop” in B1. It was Japanese food without saying whether or not. In the content, there were spicy lotus roots and high vegetables, but there was no Kumamoto style, and it was an ordinary Japanese food. Tokyu Hotels are familiar and use in various cities, but it is subtle whether to choose this next time you stay in Kumamoto.

Hotel Hokke Club Kumamoto

10 minutes walk to Sakura Machi Kumamoto and 20 minutes walk to Kumamoto Castle. 5 minutes to 7-Eleven. It is a convenient location for those who are not bitter to walk. The first parking lot is flat next door, and the second and third are small but nearby. The car keys will be left at the front desk. The room key is only one that hangs on an old-fashioned stick. It was inconvenient to leave it every time I went out. The twin room was not so large, but the windows open are appreciated by smokers. There was no air purifier and there was no guide to renting. There is a refrigerator, but there is no safety box. The closet has no door, so I hung it on the bathroom so that it wouldn't smell. The bath / toilet room is small, but there is an artificial hot spring bath on the 3rd floor (16: 00-25: 00, 6:00-9:00). The dressing room was reasonably large and was a locker with a key. There are 5 washrooms, and the bathtub is horizontal and not so large. There is no sauna. Nightwear is a cover type, only rooms and large communal baths are available, and not available in restaurants. There was a vending machine on the 3rd floor, and there were beer, shochu, cup noodles and knobs. There is also a microwave oven and ice machine in this space. The coin laundry is a separate room for men and women, the washing machine costs 300 yen up to 7Kg and the dryer costs 100 yen for 30 minutes. Breakfast is a buffet at the restaurant on the 9th floor of the top floor (6:30-10:00). You can enjoy local dishes such as spicy lotus root and horse meat curry. There are also a variety of normal dishes. It costs 1,100 yen when paying separately, but considering the content, I felt that it was exceptionally cheap at this time. For dinner, I booked an izakaya ”Shokusai Shuan”, which can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Spicy lotus root, horse sashimi, Kumamoto sake, Kumamoto shochu, etc. were all delicious. There are only 4 tables and it seems to be popular with local customers, so it is better to make a reservation.

Stayed on May 6. I was lost with the location pattern, the new town, but I chose this because it was a little off the downtown area, close to the airport bus stop. As a request, I asked for a room with a good view outside the window to leave Asian group guests by phone. As a result, there was no group guest who was worried, and it was good to be assigned a room (1202) without the southeast side disorder. But many people point out that there are 1 elevators and the breakfast venue is very small I think it's miserable on a crowded day. Breakfast is small, although it is a service, and bread is only bread. The room is not very different from other Toyoko Inn. I think the location is good for transportation, food and drink and sightseeing.

The hotel is right at the foot of Kumamoto Castle. It’s convenient. I’m a little embarrassed by the politeness at the front desk. The room is very welcoming. The room also offers mineral water and snacks from the mayor of Kumamoto. Parking costs 2200 per night. It takes about 7.8 minutes to walk to the shopping street. You must go here A Michelin 1⭐ tonkatsu restaurant costs 2,000 yen per person. This is one of the best pork chop rice I have ever eaten. Because the pickles are so delicious, I am sorry to ask for another bowl. If there is edamame in it, I will buy it home Hahaha, it was a very good experience, and the office of the mayor of Kumamoto is also easy to find within a 10-minute walk.

The services and facilities are pretty good, the rooms are quite big, and you can see the river view. It's not too far from the Jr., but it's a pity that there is no laundry service. It's 20 minutes away from the city center, which is far away, and it's also nearby at night. There is no convenience store.
