Its prime location offers excellent transport convenience. The rooms were spotless and completely odor-free, providing fantastic value for money – truly highly recommended! The comfortable bedding ensured a restful night's sleep, complemented by excellent soundproofing. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, with quality truly evident in every thoughtful detail.

Today's 5 stars ⭐ Giving it to Ms. Huang X'e, the front desk lady, for her service attitude. Regarding the inconvenience caused to customers by the unprofessional front desk agent, she apologized directly and immediately (rather than repeatedly calling, which was annoying) and offered a solution. She also provided prompt feedback and addressed any subsequent issues. This is the service a chain hotel should provide. When she apologized in person, she listened attentively, patiently, and humbly to opinions and suggestions. This is the attitude a chain hotel should provide. (After the misunderstanding on the 26th, the front desk agent and salesperson who came up launched into a spiky argument, which only made things worse.) Having more crisis management skills and professional service like this lady would be a great help! I hope you can hire more professional people like her! I don't want to encounter the same mishaps the next time I stay at your hotel in Kunming. 😵😵😵 I sincerely hope Holiday Inn Express can leave the same positive impression I did when I first graduated and started working there! And that it can continue to persevere in the competitive market! Finally, I want to say one more thing: I can't dial your phone number (5789) on Ctrip. I couldn't get in because I didn't swipe my room card to extend my stay. I wanted to call the front desk to send it up, but they couldn't get through! This is a really new hotel, with so many details to consider. I hope they'll improve over time!

Wonderful hotel. We always stay here when visiting friends in Kunming. Fairly convenient - though we often took Didi to get places. Top of the list is their service. It is first class! They go out of your way to help and often took the initiative to ask us if we needed help. Front desk is always fully staffed as is the breakfast area. The breakfast is bountiful. Not a 5-start buffet but more than enough, mostly fresh, options to choose from. The exercise room is simple but all the machines work and it's clean. The whole hotel is clean and new. Even have free laundry service. They spent time understanding what travelers need and pay attention to even small details like bumper guards on corners! The restaurant attached is a bit pricey but also excellent service and good food. They even have private rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors for no extra charge (for about 15 people). I think the only requirement is a min number of people. We used it two times. The only think they can improve is to add a little refregerator to the room.
