absolutely amazing hotel. The location is perfect. You can see the yunnan nationalities village, take a cableway ride or take a boat ride and see the seagulls all within walking distance. The hotel has great facilities as well to just spend a day relaxing at the hotel with tennis courts, spa and swimming pool.

Nice resort look. Room had a breezy balcony, no AC was needed in early September, day or night. Short walk to the Dianchi lake. Bus station is across the road with access to many busses. Take bus 44, 2 stations to Subway Yuhucun station and line 5 (about 1 mile from the hotel), Rent a bike (70 Yuan/day), Beautiful ride doing the north loop of the lake, about 20 Km 2 hours, most of the path is wide, dedicated bike trail, only the last 2/3 Km is a bit tricky (going CCW) Just outside the hotel people are selling tickets to the Xishan, West Hill top (bus and cable car ride for 90 Yuan/person, about a half-day trip) Ms Moon with ctrip at the front desk was very helpful.

Excellent hotel, close to tourist attractions, beautiful interior

Location is great! Next to the Dianchi Lake and 5 minutes away from Yunnan Nationalities park. Hotel is old, but nice. Territory is green, you can walk by the lake. Air conditioner works good, there are electronic sheets in beds and additional heater. There is anti mosquitoes spray in the room. The drain system doesn’t work good in the bathroom but it’s not a very big problem.

Lovely hotel, beautiful view. Great restaurant for dinner and the buffet breakfast was really good. Room has balcony and also a bath. Comfortable stay.

But for us, we like the atmosphere with a period texture. The hotel already has newly renovated rooms, but Oh, we still chose the old building. I booked a newly renovated room in the hotel. There is a large balcony where you can drink tea and relax while looking at the West Mountain. Inside the hotel is a beautiful garden with green grass by the lake and the fragrance of osmanthus just facing the balcony. The new room is very comfortable and the air conditioning is also very good. Although it is not necessary to turn on the air conditioning in this season, there are a few Western dishes for breakfast. It is recommended that mid- to high-end hotels provide freshly ground coffee.

I saw on Ctrip that this hotel in Dianchi Lake has a good environment and booked a three-day stay. I was really pleasantly surprised when I arrived. So I changed the reservation from 3 days to 8 days. The lady at the front desk and the operations manager Zhou Sheng received me very warmly and patiently helped me. During our stay, because we were not familiar with the hotel's TV, the room attendant Huang Lianxiang patiently taught us how to adjust the TV over and over again.
