This was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was clean, and when the staff cleaned the room while I was out, they went above and beyond, organizing everything, and everything perfect. The staff was fantastic and very attentive, especially Sherry Aaron (thank you so much for everything!). Location, staff, rooms were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

A very nice hotel with friendly service in a good location. It is between two stations on two different lines of the subway with an easy walk about 10-15 minutes either way. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk or a short cab ride. The hotel buffet breakfast had a lot of choices with both Chinese and western dishes and very good service. The room was very large and clean and comfortable. Tv had English news channel and the Wi-Fi worked well although I seemed to only be able to log in one device using the same phone number to get a code. The front desk staff spoke English and were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city center and within walking distance from the old street. It is also very clean. The room is very good and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is very rich. I like it very much. The staff is also very nice. Thank you to the front desk. The service of housekeeper Kong Lingbo, she introduced some characteristics of Kunming and sent luggage all the way to the room, very good service😀😊

The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

This is what you call a boutique hotel that is relatively new. The service is excellent. The front desk is friendly helpful. The room is a fairly good size with all the amenities. Nice decor modern they offer a free popcorn and a specialty drinks when I first check in. The price is less than half of the price of nearby green lake, a much much older hotel. Overall, I’m happy with this hotel and I will stay again. Hotel is clean offers free laundromat on the second floor with free detergent. Breakfast is good as a varieties of food and the free coffee through a state of the art coffee machine.

One odd thing about this hotel is that it is not named Jiqing Hotel, but instead it is named EverLuck Hotel. As a result I passed by it two - three times before realizing that this was my place to stay. Secondly, the area itself may be not pretty or elegant as it is on a small busy street full of little shops and late night barbecues surrounded by old local neighborhood buildings, but the location is excellent as it is right in the middle of all the major downtown Kunming areas to visit. As such this is why I chose it despite its 2 star status. The lower score rating is because the cleaning is not so good (the floor was dusty when I checked in) and the amenities are rather subpar, such as thin toilet paper and a need to scan a QR code to access the wifi. However the staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, it was freshened up daily, and it suited my needs.

Because I only stayed for one night, I chose the Hanting Hotel Chain. I was not disappointed. I arrived at almost 10 o'clock that night. The hotel front desk called us to inquire about the situation. After checking in, we were given a piece of fruit. The price does not include breakfast, but they also gave us a breakfast, which was really thoughtful! The first night of my trip to Yunnan was very comfortable, and I will choose Hanting again in the future.

The location is very good. It is very close to Yunnan University, Military Academy, and Cuihu Park when you exit the alley. Turn left to Yuantong Temple. The room is not on the road and is very quiet. The parking lot seems small, but it is enough. There are vacancies every time you pass by. Because there are not many guest rooms. The bedding is good, the pillows and mattresses are not the kind that are very foamy and high. The pillows are very flat. Not high, and the support is good. Chinese breakfast rice noodles, noodles, steamed eggs, fried eggs, fried noodles, fried rice, several kinds of stir-fried vegetables, white porridge, mung bean porridge, buns, and the most important ones are fried dough sticks. Western breakfast has toast, croissants with butter, blueberry jam, sauce, and a small cake. Fruits include watermelon and cherry tomatoes. Drinks include milk tea, coffee, milk, soy milk, Encountered some minor problems, but the front desk manager Xiao Wen was able to actively communicate and solve them. The hotel has three floors, and one building has an elevator.

This hotel is in an absolutely great location. It’s vibey and full of vibrancy. The rooms are a little in the small side but that okay. The shower was great! Loved the welcome fruit. The breakfast didn’t have much for vegetarian eaters. But it was great that it was till 12:30. Overall great hotel! With a nice artsy vibe and a great skybar view and swimming pool. Downside was none of the staff spoke English. For an international chain this was shocking .

Although I read other people's reviews, which were not very good, I still booked this hotel and was very disappointed. From last night to today, I almost froze to death. After dinner, I asked the front desk why there was no heating. I was told that the hotel had stopped heating. I was surprised. This is a hotel, not a residential area. Does the air conditioning have to be used at different times? Hot water can be used to take a shower at night without turning on cold water. However, there is no hot water at all in the morning. After washing my face with cold water, I didn’t even dare to rinse my teeth. It was so cold. I sincerely hope the hotel won’t be like this (saving money)

This is one of my all-time favorite hostels, and this is my second time there; my first was 10 years ago. I couldn't wait to go back. The neighborhood around Green Lake Park is so relaxing, but you are just a short walk from some othe r attractions like the old street. There are always interesting travelers to hang out and chat with. They just need to improve their maintenance a little. Some small improvements that wouldn't even cost them very much. For example, a missing shower curtain in one of the showers so that your clothes don’t get wet, or a toilet seat that isn’t even attached to the toilet. These could be fixed with minimal effort.

In fact, I wanted to give a worse rating, but I held back. I think it is really bad. First of all, the facilities are old, dirty and old. It is indeed very old. There is no shower head that can be removed. You'd want to stay here for the location, just northwest of the hotel is a street with a bunch of breweries and restaurants, including Salvadors, an American-opened restaurant/pub that all the foreigners go to and has a great vibe for someone looking for a more lovely atmosphere and solid Western food. The hotel is on the north side of cuihu lake which is nice to walk around and also hosts Yunnan University, though you need to register thru a qr code to enter the university. Hotel room itself was quite small but fair for its price. Citigo is like a boutique small office hotel, there's a meeting room downstairs you can book for meetings or just work out of, and a small bar/cafe you can order drinks from. At night around ten? Or eleven pm they serve Yunnanese noodles. Lounge area outside the hotel lobby is large and overlooks the lake, nice spot for remote workers like me and you can grab some beers from the bar. Would definitely use for my next visit to Kunming, largely for the location which can't be beat.
