Wonderful stay with great sea view. There’s also a complimentary shuttle to and fro Yamato museum (I think they may go to other locations too if we ask). If we go Kure again, we will choose Clayton bay!

Probably because of the small size of Kure Port, the hotel is not expensive, the rooms are larger than those of ordinary Japanese hotels, the service is good, and the restaurant is rich in the characteristics of Kure Port's warship culture. It is very close to the Maritime Self-Defense Force Historical Museum and the Yamato Ship Museum. The hotel front desk also provides a traditional Chinese version of the Kure City Guide, which is very convenient. In addition, there is an airport bus that goes directly to Hiroshima Airport at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient.

My hobby is staying in hotels, and for better or worse, I have stayed in over 100 hotels, but this hotel is in my top three. My mother and daughter came to Kure from Osaka using a dice ticket and stayed in a twin room with breakfast. -The room was spacious and clean. -The ocean view overlooked the port of Kure, and I was so excited to see the submarine. -The bathroom was separate from the toilet and was spacious. -DHC amenities. -The breakfast was amazingly delicious. You could choose between curry rice and a porridge set, and both had a wide variety of appetizers, beautiful and luxurious, and the main course was also very delicious. I was personally impressed by the poached egg in the side dish of the porridge set. It was so smooth and round that I thought it was raw wheat gluten at first. -The hotel staff were all very kind. The only drawback is that the hotel is a little far from the station, but if you call, a shuttle bus will come, so it's not a problem. On the way back, they took us to Kure Station or Central Pier, so we were able to easily go to the Yamato Museum even in the light rain. Thank you for the good memories.

The place is very quiet, with typical Japanese service. Although it is a bit far from the center of Kure, there is a free minibus to take guests to the railway station. There are three hotel restaurant options.

The hotel's location is the biggest drawback. It's too far to walk, so you have to take a shuttle bus or taxi. After finishing sightseeing in Kure, I recommend taking the shuttle bus and checking in. It was a shame that there weren't many bars or restaurants nearby, so there weren't many options for dinner. Still, the quality of the hotel itself was good and the service was good, so it was nice to stay there~

There is a smoking room on each floor of the building, and the view from the room is also romantic. There are simple supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. Haha, since I was in a foreign country, I paid a lot of attention to conversation, but I was surprised that the person serving the customer spoke Korean! I was completely relaxed.

It was right next to my destination and it was clean, which was nice.

We really enjoyed the Clayton Bay Hotel. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The staff is also very friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of the Yamato Museum and the train station is also about a 15-minute walk away.
