I booked the largest room, which seemed to be 28 square meters. After booking through Ctrip, I paid at the hotel. The room fee plus tax was less than 480 (the exchange rate was around 4.93). Two large beds and two tatami mats, which can accommodate 4 people. It was about 4 blocks away from the subway, and it was within a 10-minute walk. The air conditioning was very good. Good review

It was so nice to stay at such a spacious hotel at this price in Japan. The front desk staff was also very friendly, and although there was no ice, there was a water purifier and microwave on the first floor, which was convenient~! I intend to go again next time.

This hotel basically meets the standard. The room is small but clean and tidy. The front desk staff can communicate in English easily and has a very good attitude. The twin room is a bit crowded but the price is cheap after all.

The Japanese-style family room is more spacious than expected, and the facilities are complete. The location of Karasuma Oike is also relatively convenient to go anywhere. The hotel will not take the initiative to clean the house and replace the supplies, you need to ask for it yourself.

The toilets are always smelly. The so-called facilities are that there are no facilities, the place is small, bottled water is not provided, the carpet is smelly, the wardrobe is also smelly, the trash can is smelly, in short, durable goods are all smelly, and the outdoor temperature is only low Three to five degrees are also disgusting. Great place. Spacious and beautiful room, good location relative to the center, all the cafes and shops nearby. The hotel has washing machines in case you urgently need to clean your things. Special thanks to the staff at the reception, very nice people!

The room is nice and neat, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Tye location is convenient and very close to subway and the tourist market. Many restaurants are just a couple minutes away. 7-Eleven and family mart are closed by. It's a hotel far exceed our expectations.

Husband and I have been here for six days. The staff have been courteous and helpful. We stayed in the twin room with bath. We expected the room to be small, since we were in Japan, but the layout is well designed; making the small room as spacious as possible. There is tea and kettle provided in the room, as well as some toiletries and yukata. There is an ac which helped us on the swelteringly hot summer days. The bathroom is designed so as the entire room is a shower, so you can shower seperate from the bath. The toilet, as expected in Japan, is seperate from the bathroom. This is handy so if someone is having a shower or bath, another can use the toilet without disturbing. There are two sets of curtains on the window one sheer to let light in and allowing privacy, the other to darken the room, perfect for at night. There is coin laundry on the premises, however, the dryer is weak and doesn't dry well. My husband and I just air dried our clothes, appreciating the fact that we could wash clothes at all. On the main floor, there is a microwave/toaster oven and an espresso machine for coffee *******. It was lovely to be able to soak my aching body in the bath after an eventful day. We were able to completely relax in the room, and the soundproofing was decent. There is a convenience store around the corner, for travellers needing anything from food, drinks, snacks and booze. A short walk away, is a metro station as well as a bus stop. Overall, we would come back here again.

Avoid ground floor rooms!!! Stayed for 2 nights in June on the ground floor. The room was very musty and smelled of pet urine. They provided a dehumidifier in the room, but it didn't help. The floor looked like hardwood, but was made of foam pad with wood patterns, which likely contributed to the smell. The only window in the room opened to a wall. The room is small and both sides of the bed are next to the wall. I have to climb out of the foot of the bed to get out. The reception is not 24 hours. Nobody was there when I checked out at 10AM on a Saturday. I just dropped the key cards in an unlocked box on the counter requested by them. There're stickers and signs on the wall in the bathroom and at the reception desk indicate they will give your gift cards if you write good review on TripAdvisor and show it to them.

Very clean and spacious rooms with everything we need. The location is very convenient for transport - both the buses and subway, which connects to Kyoto central station. We booked the room with the garden view which has a really nice outlook so is recommended. We’d definitely stay here again as its fantastic value and quiet, yet central.

The hotel lobby is very zen peaceful and welcoming! The room is also nice and clean. Don’t be hesitate to make a reservation for this hotel. I recommend to stay here whenever you come to Kyoto. It is also close to the huge market you shall enjoy!

Amazing hotel with beautiful interior, place felt really luxurious. Duvets were fluffy and soft and I had constant great sleeps here. If you are looking for a hotel that is affordable, comfortable and located in a convenient location, this hotel is easily the best in the area.
