Recommended stay in Kyoto. Hotel is located one train station away from Kyoto station and the nearest station is about 10 mins walk from Exit 1. There were multiple food options nearby and it is walkable to the main shopping district as well (15-20 mins walk). Room is also clean and basic amenities were all provided.

Terrible service. The bed was as hard as a rock. When asked if they had anything to resolve this, the answer was a simple no. Not even a blanket to soften it could be shared. If I would still have been able to cancel the rest of our stay, I would have, but sadly that was not an option. With all the sleeping options in Kyoto, I would recommend you go and sleep somewhere else.

The hotel was clean and spacious, especially as a solo traveler. Public transport was in convenient walking range (5-10 minutes). If you don't mind walking a bit, you can also easily reach Gion in around 20 minutes by walking on the peaceful path along the river. The breakfast was fantastic! It was traditional Japanese breakfast, but they also offered bread, pastries and cereal if you prefer that.

Room cleanliness is fantastic and location is quite convenient.

I stayed in three hotels in Japan, and this one was the most satisfactory. In terms of location, it is not far from Keihan Railway's Kiyomizu Gojo and Kiyomizu Temple. People with good physical strength can walk a little. It is a straight road from the subway Gojo Station, but it is a little far away. In terms of hygiene, it is very clean and there are no flaws. In terms of facilities, it is fully equipped and the bed is very big compared to other hotels I have stayed in 😂 In terms of service, I met several front desk staff who spoke English and communicated smoothly. Breakfast is about 60+ per person according to the exchange rate at that time. It is self-service with many varieties and the curry is delicious

The hotel is located at Toei Subway Shijo Station, which is about an 8-minute walk away. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Kawaramachi, and about 20 minutes to walk to Kiyomizudera Temple. They are all a bit far away. The hotel is very new and has good facilities. The bed in the room is large, but the space is slightly small. The breakfast is simple but filling. If the price could be cheaper, it would be considered an okay hotel.
