La Cala de Mijas Hotels with Wi-Fi

We only really came back to the hotel to sleep during our stay and only had breakfast once here! Lovely hotel in an amazing location, free parking just outside, you are so close to everything. We went out for dinner every night as we didn't have the half board added and don't think we missed out on much. There is soo much variety and choice a stone throw away that offer authentic food, and not half as expensive as the UK - definitely would recommend leaving the hotel and trying what's out there. Everyday the room was cleaned and we loved that! They did a great job. Just an all around lovely place to stay if you're looking to explore the area and different beaches but would like a base. Did try to go to pool one day, and couldn't find any unclaimed chairs as it was busy, but really it's our bad for not planning this earlier - I would expect this to happen in most hotels around the world. One thing I would change: Give complimentary bottles of water in the rooms!

This small boutique hotel is a little gem. We was shocked when we checked in how beautiful & clean it was to say it was only a 2 star. The staff was so welcoming on our arrival, gave us a bottle of water on the house, as it was a late arrival. The room was a decent size with a big bathroom, and little bottles of shower gels shampoo & conditioners. All adds to the nice gestures We had clean bedding and fresh towels everyday. We have never stayed in a 2 star before, but was recommended by a friend. We would definitely stay again. The location is spot on near to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. We think it’s only a 2 star because of no swimming pool facilities & gyms, but the beach is only 5 mins away.
