Parador de La Granja

This hotel is a converted castle. We came here to stay in this castle hotel because we wanted to visit the town's palace, Spain's little "Versailles", and because we were attracted by its reputation. Although the facilities in the room are old, the decoration style of the hotel's public space is still good and tasteful. There is not even coffee, tea, or a kettle in the room. I don't know if they forgot or it's not included in the standard configuration. The gym is very small, but the gyms in European hotels are not big. I don't know if it discriminates against Chinese guests, but this hotel arranged my room at the end of the corridor, farthest from the elevator. It is very physically demanding to drag two boxes in and out of the carpeted corridor (the porter is still missing and no one serves me even if I want to tip). The Castle Hotel in Toledo where I stayed today also gave me the room farthest from the elevator. Is it because Ctrip's agreed price is too low and the hotel deliberately leaves this "little hardship" to the guests?

The Parador is a first-class hotel structure with an excellent location. But since there is nothing more than admission staff, carts for transporting luggage are missing, given the distances to the existing rooms. We miss the existence of a computerized point with at least two computers connected to the Internet that can cover work or communication incidents that a guest may have. The cafeteria has a lot to improve in terms of speed of service, temperature and execution of the dishes. Sandwiches with the correct content arrive cold and with the bread half-toasted. It's easy to solve. And you have to put an updated TV with a large size and sound quality, most of the time when the cafeteria fills up it coincides with the broadcast of a sporting event and you can no longer watch it on a TV like the current one. It is unacceptable that a Bar bill cannot be paid by using the different customer cards with the fractional amounts they decide. It is a facility for shared payment that is already common practice in any establishment.

Our first time at a parador and it has been great. The facilities are excellent (Spa highly recommended to relax). High quality rooms and very comfortable beds.

This hotel is perfect every time I stay there.

La habitación espectacular, muy amplia. El baño ha quedado bastante desfasado necesita una renovación urgente. Por la noche ha sido imposible conciliar un sueño de calidad debido a la alta temperatura de la habitación. Respecto al desayuno, estaba todo en orden pero sinceramente la atención del personal dejó bastante que desear.
