Hotels Near Walmart in Las Vegas

We come to see many show in Las Vegas, Excalibur is very good location and convenience check in and check out included close private parking. Recommended all traveler 🧳 🥰

As normal, my reviews are usually based on how a particular hotel or restaurant rates in its class, and against similar competition. In other words, a Hampton Inn isn’t to be compared to say, a Four Seasons. And on that note; Gold Coast Hotel and ****** is not to be compared to The Palazzo, Wynn or The Bellagio, all of which are located on the strip. Located just a mile west of the strip, on W Flamingo, the location is actually better than expected. One can be on the strip in a 15-20 min walk. So, though not on the strip, it’s not as bad as some of the other comparable hotel ******s. We were in town to do a show, and needed ample parking for our trucks. So staying on the strip was out either way: That leaves a few select hotels that could accommodate us; and many of these are in rather sketchy areas. GC has a huge parking area in the rear, with easy access and multiple entries. Overall, it’s probably not as large as The Orleans, but certainly a better location in my opinion. And it’s absolutely light yrs better and much safer than the “Wild Wild West Days Inn” on Tropicana(in which I’ll say in bold text, STAY AWAY!”) The GC exterior seems the same as the day it was built: in other words, old and worn…lol. However, enter inside, and you’ll notice a much improved interior to its humble beginning. The decor still leans classic, but with a touch of modern: And overall actually, quite nice. There’s plenty of gaming, and several restaurants, including a TGIF, which I did not try, and a really good Chinese joint, which I did. The lunch menu was reasonable, and the quality was actually pretty good, if you want Chinese: And they’re open till 3am. Amenities here include a swimming pool(small), and a bowling alley. Neither of which I had time to use… Sorry Rooms: The rooms here have been updated with a fresh remodel at some point recently. A new Flatscreen tv, and a modern wardrobe add to the details. Note: I was one floor from the top, which can be tricky for battling the Vegas heat, for many hotel A/C systems. However, the unit in my room was more than adequate at keeping things chilled down(That one surprised me). The bathroom has all new tile, and a small window for some ventilation(nice touch). Water pressure was really good, but temperature wasn’t easy to adjust at first; but no deal breaker. Overall, the room was clean, modern enough, and the beds was decent for this price range. The service here was surprisingly good(I’ve read this before, and in many places, from those who have stayed at many of the Boyd properties). Everyone was extra friendly, and made the extra effort to make one feel welcomed. So, while not a Four Seasons, you’ll have no worries. Wrapping it up: Overall, this is a good choice for the money; and certainly has ample parking for big rigs, motor homes or other. We enjoyed the ambiance and service at the hotel. We stayed at the top floor of the New Yorker tower, which provides a view of hotel's rollercoaster ride but not the famous Vegas *****. Sound insulation from the corridor could be better - we were woken up several times by rowdy guests returning to their rooms in the early morning hours. The room itself was clean and large but no tea or coffee facilities. We also went to see hotel's Cirque du soleil mad apple show. Get your ticket from the hotel concierge - they can give you discounted hotel guest prices!

It was my first time booking with The Venetian Resort these few days. Checking in was very smooth even though they were busy with everything was efficiency. Our room of double queen bed was spacious and clean, nice room view and a special shoutout to housekeeping who did very well. The hotel provided free and speed Wi-Fi. Fast and efficient service upon some special request. Easy for self-parking inside the hotel. It is a convenient walk from the hotel to the Las Vegas ***** instead of driving out. The unsatisfied was that the hotel room didn't free water bottles for customers.

Excellent location! Chose this hotel as it was one of the dropoff location for airport shuttles and Grand Canyon tour 👍 Beside Mirage and opp Venetian. So convenient! Paid extra for a room with ***** view. Checked in and realised the view was blocked by the advertisement banner (refer pic 2) even though the checkin staff told us our room had a fantastic view. 😓 Was quite upset and husband suggested changing room. So i called reception and they told us to head down for a room change. Showed them the blocked view (refer pic 1) and they changed the room immediately 👏 Room was clean with dated furnishings. Bathroom slippers not provided so pls bring your own.

I travel to Vegas once or twice a year and this place is quickly becoming a favorite. I really like the large rooms and love having a sliding door to open for fresh air, bird songs in the morning and the view of the ”serene” courtyard with its palms. It's so much better than walking miles through a ****** to a claustrophobic sealed room. There is a convenience store close by with sometimes sketchy people hanging around, but if you're at all street smart, it shouldn't be a problem. There's a steady stream of tourists walking between here, Virgin and other hotels to the strip. I'm pleased that the management deters parties, noise in the public areas and has locked down access points where people could be let in anonymously. My only complaint is that there is no seating on the balconies. I'd have been happy with a $5 resin chair.

Upon arrival our room was upgraded even with a late check in. The hotel was sold out due to a convention in town but service was efficient. The front desk representative, William really took care of us answering all of our questions and offering suggestions for us to celebrate my birthday. There are many 24hr restaurants within walking distance along with room service.

To all my reader's who are reading this. My stay @ the Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip was too short but still a great spot to stay. Some of the features of the room that I liked was the 2 layer curtains that had one to block out the glare and the other to completely block out all light from coming in. I also like the spacious mini fridge. I put a whole pizza box in there for the leftover pizza I ate the next morning being my concert. The view of the Festival entrance was great, especially at night with all the colorful lighting. It was also walking distance to my concert. They also have a marketplace which was convenient for me to buy drinks, ice cream and pizza and more. I recommend this place if you have a nearby event by the hotel and cause its very clean in the rooms and its private but also come with glass ware, microwave and coffee machine with a sink to wash your dishes. This is a very late review. I stayed here in March 2020, pre Covid. I love Henderson hotels for the safe neighborhood and no smoke unlike the hotels on Vegas Strip. My go to was always TownePlace Suites, their sister property in the same area. SpringHill did not disappoint. Perfect coffee, large rooms, great breakfast buffet. I am torn on which one to choose if I visit Vegas again. Cannot go wrong with either.
