Location is great, next to supermarket and restaurant and bus stop. Carpark is limited to only 3 spaces. The room itself is normal, weak wifi in room , nothing fancy. But what I can’t stand is the strong stench in the kitchen. It’s poorly ventilated and all our clothes smell after entering. Wouldn’t recommend to book this place for the kitchen. Washing machine cost 2 pounds per use.

Functional and clean, if devoid of real comfort or character, but what really is unacceptable is the useless WiFi. Impossible to get anything done because every few minutes it would cut out or, despite being connected, tell me there was no internet connection. In this day and age that’s inexcusable. I would rather pay for a functioning WiFi than a free one that doesn’t work. Ruined my stay.

The hotel is basic so if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep it’s fine. It was clean and the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. There was no mirror in the room and the bedside lights had no bulbs. There are only three parking spaces because the spaces at the front belong to someone else so we had to park in the next street. The information and photographs of the kitchen on the website are misleading. It’s a nice space and you can use it but you have to bring your own food.

Basic but clean. Does the job nicely and comfy bed. Close to amenities. Not sire what the reviews saying there are no locks- The doors to the rooms are key card entry magnetic locks so no lock is needed inside. Value for money and nice staff. Lost a star as bathroom door needs a screwdriver to the hinge to tighten a couple of screws. Convenient for family and will likely stay again.

No tea or coffee in room but sugar . Floors could have benefited from A good mop and hoover . Parking over 20 rooms but parking for 3 cars onsite . Limited to 45 minutes as well. If park outside of the 3 bags . Lots of road noise at night as on a busy junction

Most things about this apartment are great - easy access, right next to a supermarket, clean and spacious room. Nice communal area and kitchen with breakfast food and coffee machine. The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. Was notified that housekeeping is every 4 days. Easy 10 minutes on the bus from Leicester station/city centre. I would recommend bringing noise-cancelling headphones if you are a light sleeper. It is next to a busy road and the walls are VERY thin. I was kept up on several nights by the person in the next room snoring, shouting over the phone at 6am, and listening to loud music throughout the night. Not the hotel’s fault and hopefully not a fixture, but given the other reviews, bring headphones!

Very convenient for the university, London road restaurants and Leicester general hospital. Clean tidy easy good breakfast area that is open 24-7 with coffee machine and breakfast in fridge no fuss. Bit like student accommodation with comfortable double bed.

I was looking for somewhere to stay in Leicester whilst away for work and came across this as it looked fresh. The good thing is, the pictures match what you see in real life. However, my whole experience led me to staying the night somewhere else. I arrived and the gentleman on reception was very helpful and actually took me on a tour of the property. But that’s where the good stops. When I was doing my tour, the man assured me that even though there isn’t a lock on my room door, that it was still safe! This was the first red flag! I know that I can be very picky when it comes to staying away from home and my partner always tells me to just relax, however I just couldn’t stay. When you arrive into the property, the smell is pleasant in the reception. When you walk to the communal kitchen and the laundry room, it was not! When I got into my room, the smell of bleach was so overpowering it made me feel sick! I walked in and my shoes were just sticking to the floor (at this point I was crying). I then went into the bathroom and it looked clean at a first glance, then when you looked into the shower it was grimy, full of mould and the plug just looked so dirty. When I decided to leave, there were people who were drunk and/or on ***** and walking to my car as a female in the dark with a bunch of bags, I didn’t feel safe. I couldn’t wait to get out of there! Another note, the location wasn’t the greatest as there isn’t any parking apart from 3 spaces. You would need to park on the road a few roads away and again, I didn’t feel safe. But on the plus side, there is a co-op right next door. I won’t be booking again!

First, the positive, I stayed here before and the experience was OK, such that I was willing to return. I REGRET doing so. Yes, the trip itself started badly as the airline lost my luggage. Upon arrival at this establishment I informed the man who checked me in that I was dejected because I was missing my luggage. I asked him if anything had been delivered for me, he told me - no. I informed him that the case might be delivered any day during my stay, he told me someone would let me know. The next day, as I arrived from a day out, he was sitting at the desk checking in a couple. He gave them the tour of the place and walked them around and I waited patiently until he returned to ask him for an update. When he returned, I asked him if there was any news of my suitcase being delivered and he glared at me and said, "Why did you not ask the young people who work here during the day?" I told him, I didn't know who he meant, I had just arrived back at the hotel, he looked at me menacingly and in a YELLING VOICE, he said - "Do not come back to my hotel, did I not tell you someone would contact you? I work nights and I don't know anything about your suitcase, I put my hands up and said, please do not yell at me and he instead accused me of being angry and told me, "You are angry with the airlines and taking it out on me?" I looked at him in shock and I said, "why would I be angry with you? You are not to blame? He YELLED at me again, "I told you I come here at 5:00 p.m. and as he continued yelling, the couple he had just checked in suddenly walked by and he realized he was yelling and dropped his volume but continued to lecture me like a child. I put my hands up and told him to please just stop. I said, "Don't worry about it I will not bother you again!" I could not believe what was happening. I went to my room and then left the hotel to go and pick up supplies, when I returned he was sitting at the front desk and I dared not look at him. Each time I wondered why he even does the job if this is his approach to customer service, or was it because I was a young woman of colour that he felt he can disrespect me the way he did? NEVER AGAIN! Yes, he told me to never return and I most certainly will NOT. The standards overall have dropped since I first stayed there and I regret not staying elsewhere as I was already experiencing distress over my lost luggage and he made the entire experience WORSE! I write this review to forewarn anyone in a similar situation, as for the so called customer service person - he means nothing in my life and I feel sorry for him if life is so terrible that he has to YELL at PAYING GUESTS and tell them to not return, simply because he was asked a question! Horrendous!

Functional and spotlessly clean, this exceeded my expectations. I just wanted a bed for the night while visiting friends, but this would be an ideal place to stay if you were on a work visit. I didn’t use the kitchen or laundry room, but I can see these would be very useful if you were staying for an extended period. The iron and ironing board in the room was a useful addition. It was hard to cool the room with only one opening window, but it was one of the hottest days of the year when I visited. There are only three parking spaces, but plenty of parking available on nearby roads. Having the co-op just down the stairs would be very useful if you were staying for any length of time. Very impressed and I would definitely stay here again.

Overall a good stop for one night as a couple. Positives Location, on a main road into Leicester with good bus service. Room clean. Large Room. Room ready early so we checked in, but if it was not ready I think I could have checked in and returned later, the reason we were early is we had to pass the location and did not expect to return till late evening. Cons Location, we did not suffer but can be noisy due to being on a road junction. Bathroom mirror set to suit someone of 5-8 plus, and no mirror in room the average height of a woman is 5-4 and lots under 5 foot, so they have no useable mirror. TV, is fixed on wall forward facing a blank wall, instead of on angled bracket, as centre of bed was about 10 to 12 feet across the room. Access to rooms, passage very narrow I could not carry two bags and walk. Parking - the 2 slots on the left of the entrance are the hotels the rest are the Coop underneath the hotel. No information about breakfast in folder.

We stayed one night in early April 22, a couple in our 50’s. We were visiting a relative so this was a convenient place to stay overnight as it was walking distance to our relatives home. We parked our car at our relatives house overnight as parking is limited at the flexistay. The reception is friendly and welcoming. The shared kitchen facilities are tidy. There is a kettle cups etc in the room, we were in an upstairs room. The facilities were modern, bathroom and shower good. Bedding & towels were clean. Overall the room & bathroom needed a good clean particularly the walls. It’s a shame as the facilities are fine and it’s good value, the cleaning standard lets it down. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t stay again. If you need a value place to stay I would recommend.
