Overall a very pleasant stay at Songzhuju. Breakfast is simple and filling. The location is fantastic, less than 5 mins walkable distance from the ancient city north gate. The room and shower room are clean. Host is very friendly and welcoming, offering to help with moving luggage around. Their travel packages to jade snow mountain are fair and reasonable. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay near Lijiang Ancient City.

This accommodation is absolutely worth staying at—top-notch in every way! The rooms are incredibly clean, spacious, and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities for travelers. The location is perfect, just near the North Gate exit.
Most importantly, the owner provides exceptional service. Cassie takes care of everything, is incredibly friendly, and always has a warm smile. She even recommended an amazing hot pot restaurant! You can also book a Jade Snow Dragon one-day trip directly from the accommodation—Cassie will handle everything for you.
If you’re visiting Lijiang Old Town, you must stay here! Highly, highly recommended! I was beyond impressed and will definitely stay here again next time!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room is in a great location, just a short walk from the main street and only a few minutes away from the heart of the old town. The service was outstanding, and I especially appreciated the free pick-up service from the station in their beautifully designed car.
Although I had to leave early in the morning and they couldn’t take me back to the station, they kindly helped by bringing my luggage to the main street, which was a nice touch. The room itself was well-designed and comfortable, though the air conditioning could have been stronger, and I missed having a heater in the bathroom.
Overall, I found the hotel to offer great value for the money, and I would definitely recommend it for its prime location and excellent service.

First time to Lijiang, it is the off-season, so I chose to stay at Songzhuju, located at the north gate of the ancient city.
The ancient city is mostly stone-paved, so it is difficult to drag a suitcase. Fortunately, the inn is not far from the north gate.
The supervisor Tiramisu is kind and personally made tea for me. We added each other on WeChat before I left, and he helped me arrange airport transfers for ¥80, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain + Blue Moon Valley for ¥530, and Migratory Bird Bay for ¥260.
The public area of the inn is clean, the atrium is bright, and there are rocking chairs for guests to relax in the sun. The guest room is clean, with a 2-meter bed. I specially booked a room with a bathtub so that I can relax after the trip.
I will come here again if I have the chance to visit Lijiang again.
