Resort Hotels in Lijiang

One of my favourite Intercon accommodation! The location is very ideal, the compound is beautiful with nice landscaping. You could relax just walking around the hotel compound. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, toiletries could be more wide ranging. I didn’t try the food as breakfast wasn’t included in the price but there are many good options outside of the hotel. Most importantly, the service of the staff here is amazing! I want to thank this lady (I didn’t get her name) at the reception who referred me to the concierge for the booking of the tickets to the YuLong Snow mountain. The concierge, Nicholas Bun was really helpful with the booking of tickets, which has to be purchased at 8pm sharp, first come first serve. I didn’t have right app to do it so he helped us totally with it and even provided me with oxygen tank. Their service extended to beyond just their responsibility, stay here, you will get all the help you need!

We have a wonderful time at Liqiang and Hampton by Hilton was situated slightly away from the Ancient city but it’s a nice walk over there in the evening. After spending time at the ancient city, we could take a taxi back and it’s very convenient. The room is clean and spacious and what impressed us is the hospitality of the front desk personnel. A special call out to Lisa who helped checked us in efficiently and referred us to the lady who helped arranged our trip to the Jade Dragon Snow mountain and the Liqiang Impression performance. Otherwise, we would not be able to secure the tickets and had a seamless pickup, tour and return arrangement. Lisa also quickly offered a competitive room rate when we mentioned that we wanted to extend our stay. We are grateful for that. We also want to call out the wonderful service extended by the front desk manager, Linda who personally delivered a fruit platter to our room and checked whether everything was as expected. We can only say the service is exceptional and we decided to stay another night at Liqiang on our return trip from Shangri La. Linda helped arrange everything despite the late notice from us. Thank you very much for making our stay enjoyable. Will definitely recommend our friends and in fact when we return to Kunming, we may stay at the chain again. This stay has left us with a such pleasant experience.

Great for a romantic getaway or a little solitude. The hotel property offers spectacular views of the mountain. Waking to the sound of birds, watching sunrise and sunset from my balcony, to soaking away all worries in the hot springs or in room bath tub, I completely relaxed at this hotel. The facilities such as the outdoor pool are superbly kept, and the buffet has delicious food selections, both chinese and western cuisine. Staff are incredibly friendly and many could also communicate in English. Very helpful as a travelling expat with rather limited Chinese. Melanie from Canada

When I came to Lijiang for a trip, I saw the high rating of Muyuntang Hotel on the Internet, so I decisively booked for 4 nights. This time, I came out with my children. The proprietress has a very good personality, she will make tea for us, chat with us, and even bring us Lugu Lake's candied apples. My daughter also likes the proprietress and her apples very much. It is worth mentioning her bedding, soft bed, pillows that look good in photos, and the rice noodles for breakfast are also delicious. The simple and elegant atmosphere of the small courtyard makes people feel happy, and they don't want to go home after living here. Every morning in the inn, I was awakened by the warm yellow sunshine. The entire inn is built on the mountain, and the viewing platform in the middle can see the panoramic view of the ancient city and take pictures. It is also super beautiful. The location is at the intersection of Bailong Square, the first one on the left when entering, super convenient. Basking in the sun, eating apples and drinking afternoon tea, life in Lijiang Old Town is so beautiful. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will choose Muyuntang Inn

I really liked this hotel. Room was lovely and beautiful and a nice cute walk into the old city. We had so many bags and they came with a little cart to carry them for us. Also because we stayed many nights they took us for free to the airport. We would totally stay here again. Now that said I had 1 problem. We were here in summer and it got quite hot in the room. We were on the top floor and the sun hit the roof and really heated things up. I couldn’t get it cold enough to be comfortable even with the air conditioner. In the future I would choose a room not on the top floor or only visit this hotel in non-summer months. Otherwise it was perfect!

I had a wonderful vacation at Banyan Tree Lijiang. I booked a large bed room with a massage pool and enjoyed the view of the snow-capped mountains while soaking in the pool in the yard. It felt like a vacation. The garden design of the hotel's public area is very exquisite, with many fruit and flower trees planted, allowing you to enjoy different landscapes throughout the year. Children can feed fish and ducks at any time here, play in the Yunshang Farm and trampoline park, and there are various handicraft experience activities every day. The butler service here is also very good. Thank you to our butler Rosa for helping arrange the birthday decoration. She has been paying attention to our stay experience during our stay. The service is very meticulous and considerate. The staff at the hotel's boutique, concierge, and housekeeping departments are always enthusiastic and courteous to provide service and assistance. Overall everything was great!

Very pleasant & cozy stay. Located in the Shuhe Ancient Town and very close to the north gate. Hotel is very well maintained and attentive to all the little details. All staff are very nice and foods are good.

Exceeded expectations. Very new hotel, very clean, and high tech. Room size was good, toilet with automated wc. Do note, though, that the glass separating wc and shower is transparent; not convenient for 2 people to use at the same time. The location is in-between Black Dragon Lake and the Water Wheel - both within 5 mins walk. Service was very polite, with complimentary afternoon tea, fruits and pastry.

The Chinese-style courtyard and environmental sanitation are very good. You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the backyard. It is a very high-end B&B. It is very cost-effective to stay in the off-season. It's very close to the East Gate, a very quiet area, and just a few minutes' walk from the central area of ​​Shuhe. It's next to restaurants and supermarkets, which is very convenient. The butler service is very meticulous, communicating in advance about picking up and dropping off luggage, check-in precautions for dining, etc. Sitting in the small courtyard, I really don’t want to leave. I will consider staying here next time I come to Shuhe.

Wonderful stay. We stayed here for 2 days, then left for Shangrila and came back to stay for 1 more day. When we came back from Shangrila, it felt like coming back home because the atmostphere here is so comfortable. The hostel owner and staffs are really nice and supportive. They help us to book the ticket for Songcheng Park with a price cheaper a lot than directly buying. They also helped to deliver our luggages from the ancient city entrance to the hostel and back when we came and when we left. The location of the hotel is excellent also. It's just around 400m from the center but still quiet and beautiul. If we travel to Lijiang one more time, we definitely will stay here again.
