Hotels in Clear Water Bay, Lingshui

This was the worst value-for-money hotel on our Sanya-Haikou-Wanning-Lingshui trip. The room cost over 2,000 yuan, but it felt like it was only worth 700-800 yuan. We didn't get our room until 4:30 PM, and a whole crowd of people were waiting impatiently. They offered afternoon tea, which consisted of only a few cakes (some even seemed moldy), stale fruit, and three drinks (two of which were not fresh squeezed juice). The water park was tiny and couldn't compare to Atlantis. The indoor kids' playground was large but lacked interesting facilities and some were a bit old. The hotel is divided into East and West Wings. The sky pool and water world are on the West Wing, but we were assigned to the East Wing. Due to the hotel's design, it was a very long walk to get anywhere. The breakfast selection was decent, nothing special. As for service, there was generally no proactive service, but they did fulfill guests' requests. Overall, it doesn't have the standard of a star-rated hotel; it's more like a slightly larger guesthouse. It's miles away from Atlantis. I definitely won't be coming back. I didn't attach photos because the experience was so bad I didn't even feel like taking any. Oh, and the complimentary photo shoot we were offered didn't happen due to bad weather, and the hotel showed no intention of offering any compensation. I usually don't bother leaving reviews unless I'm extremely satisfied or extremely disappointed.

We stayed in the Aloha Capybara themed twin room, and it was a delightful family experience. The 55-square-meter room was spacious, and the adorable capybara decorations were a hit with the kids. The bed configuration was perfect for families, and having a refrigerator made storing things very convenient for our trip. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a water park, a soft play area, and a swimming pool. We could also walk to Qingshuiwan Beach very quickly, which was great for digging in the sand and playing in the water. There were also various parent-child activities daily, giving parents a break. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were responsive. We didn't have to go anywhere else; we could easily entertain the kids right at the hotel. It offered great value for money and is a worthwhile choice for families with children visiting Lingshui.

Located in a fantastic location in Lingshui, this high-rise residential complex boasts a pleasant environment. Silver Beach is just a few minutes' walk away, with fine sand and minimal crowds, perfect for taking solo photos. For sunrise viewing, you can see the lighthouse featured in the film ”The Vanished Woman.” In the evenings, there are bars on the beach, offering a relaxing atmosphere with music. Kids love the little sand tanks on the beach. Different rooms on higher floors offer direct ocean views from the balcony. The bathrooms have round bathtubs for soaking, and there are also round bathtubs on the balconies for children to play in. Kitchen appliances include a washing machine, induction cooker, microwave, and refrigerator. Breakfast options outside the complex are good, and there are markets nearby, making it very convenient. I immediately extended my stay for four more days. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly; I'm so glad I chose this place!

The room was very clean and well-designed. The hot spring and pool complemented each other perfectly! The cute animals at the pet park were adorable! Overall, my stay was excellent. The hotel environment was tranquil, the room layout was comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. All my needs were promptly addressed, and the thoughtful service made the entire trip even more perfect.

I've been to Hainan three times, and the hotel environment this time was decent. Stepping onto the balcony, you're greeted by a vast ocean, and you can feel the sea breeze right from your bed. However, the service was truly abysmal! As soon as I entered the lobby to check in, I overheard someone complaining, and I thought, 'Oh no, did I just book a dud?' 😂 From the moment we started waiting to check in, the poor service quality was evident. Perhaps it was because the service at the Sheraton where we stayed for the two previous nights was so exceptional, which made the contrast here even more jarring, especially since both hotels cost nearly 1,700 yuan per night. First off, no staff member contacted us beforehand to provide check-in information. Secondly, the 'service butler' assigned to us by the front desk was incredibly slow to answer questions and never proactively inquired about our needs. Even when I had a question for her, it would take ages for her to reply. Many times, we were unsure about the daily hotel activities – what they were, where to go, or when they took place. Plus, there were no staff members at some of the rafting areas. The overall experience left me feeling a lack of happiness and a sense of cold indifference during my stay. Most of the children's activities were also chargeable. So, I will definitely not be staying at this hotel again.

This guesthouse was recommended online, and after staying there, I had a really great experience. It completely surpassed the 'influencer-favorite' family hotel we stayed at on the first night. First off, the community environment is lovely with an outdoor pool and a children's play area. The room itself is very spacious and clean, and the bed is large enough, making it perfect for families with two adults and two children. Secondly, it's very close to the beach; you can see the sea from the room and it's just a five-minute walk away. I noticed there aren't many dining options in Lingshui itself, but there's a small commercial street nearby, which makes finding food very convenient. If I come back to Lingshui in the future, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

The sea view was absolutely stunning, and my kids loved it! Head up to the 7th floor rooftop for an even more amazing sunrise and sunset experience. The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better.

This newly opened guesthouse caught my eye because it's new, has a sea view, and is a suite with a constantly changing sea view right from the window. It was perfect for a trip with a middle school student, as it provided a separate room from my parents. There were two bathrooms, and the room facilities were good, including a smart smart device and a projector for watching TV online. It's very close to Monkey Island, just a 5-minute walk from the ticket office. The service was also excellent; they provided welcome fruit, afternoon tea snacks, and a small gift upon departure. There was a slight issue with the new property: the shower in the main bathroom didn't drain properly the first night, causing leaks, but this was resolved the next day. Overall, a great experience! Full marks!

Traveling with 4 adults and 1 child, the apartment was clean and tidy. The check-in office at the complex entrance was easy to find; a taxi drops you right there. After checking in, the staff helped us move our luggage to the shuttle and drove us directly to our building. For daily travel, Didi (ride-hailing) picks up and drops off right downstairs, which is super convenient. The apartment itself has a great view and is very spacious. The sofa bed in the smaller room was perfect for me and the baby, so I didn't have to worry about them rolling off the bed. The swimming pool within the complex deserves a special mention – the scenery is absolutely stunning, and it's never crowded. The beach was also nearly empty, feeling very natural and secluded. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the Qingshuiwan food street. If you have a car or rent an electric scooter, getting around would be incredibly easy. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I'm very satisfied.

The service here is incredibly heartwarming; the staff's smiles are truly the most beautiful scenery. Every request is met promptly, and every detail is handled with genuine care. When I checked in, Ms. Fu at the front desk was very efficient. I also dined at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Ms. Yi in the restaurant provided service with a reassuring and pleasant smile.
