we came back from an event approx midnight. asked for 2 glasses of red wine at the bar. staff member offered us a number of bottles . we picked one, she opened it. then the duty manager turned up and said that this wine wasn’t available by the glass only by the bottle. ( which was £55) we explained that we were offered this option by the bar staff but he still said no. bar staff then had to put the cork back in the bottle. we asked how they could do that when it could only bought by the bottle and no customer would buy a bottle of wine that had already been opened. no change. out of courtesy to the bar staff we agreed to pick another red wine. turns out they only had one glass left of that one and no spares . therefore we ended up with our 3rd choice option. this all took 45mns from order to serve. some of the worst hotel service we have ever had.

The location is very good, just beside the pier, walking to the tate museum, the Liverpool Museum and the pier, the view from the window is also very attractive. You can watch the day and night at the pier. The hotel has some connection with the Titanic. The door of each room is a sense of cabin.

I booked this hotel for a little break for me & my husband (we are both middle aged). I picked it for location & price. They were both spot on, but I didn't check that it was right in the heart of club land, so we didn't get any sleep from the noise from bars, clubs & party goers. So great for the money, if you want to be out there partying, but not so good when you're older. Upon check out, I mentioned the noise to the receptionist, who told me that I should have requested a quieter room, which I would have done, had I have know that they had them! So upon reflection a) the hotel needs to point out that there are quiet rooms available & b) I'll definately be doing a thorough research on any future city break hotels.

I went to Liverpool specifically to watch a Liverpool game. If there is a chance next time, I will still choose this hotel. The attitude is very good and very enthusiastic! And it's very close to Liverpool Lime Station, take a train from London to Liverpool, you can see the hotel as soon as you get out of the train station, and it's only a 2-minute walk to arrive! And it's right in the city center, basically everything you need can be met on foot. If you want to go to Anfield, you can get there by taking No. 17 at the bus stop coming out of the hotel. If you travel to Liverpool, it is recommended that you live here.

Radisson Blu Hotel, Liverpool

Rooms smell damp and musty like a lift, no fresh air just stale. Noticed that the air conditioning has no return air grill only a supply grill where a minimal amount of air blows out from which smells stale and musty like a loft does. Air con noisy because it's not able to pull any air from the room. Dust on top of ledges. To top things off booked a room with breakfast but was told my booking didn't have breakfast and then I was over charged. Quite a few complaining about lights not working. Staff tried their best to be helpful.
