The hotel is pretty nice, though I’m not sure I’d choose the interior design colors. Room was clean when I first got it. Bathroom door wasn’t closing properly. Lots of TV channels to choose from. The walls are thin- you hear a lot of corridor noise. In general I had good time in spite of a very unpleasant incident with the receptionists (they apologized later). I wouldn’t pay extra for a castle view room as I did this time. It’s really not too impressive as you can see yourselves in the picture. Breakfast was good. Reasonable variety and fresh. Location is good. They started a pilot where they only clean your room upon request. I love the plan but! When I did ask to clean it, my mouth washing glass wasn’t changed and the room wasn’t as clean as when I first got it. I’m quite specific person and my standards are high but I do recommend this hotel in spite of the deficiencies. It’s not much to improve and I hope it will. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might not be suitable for you.

Whist I understand the hotel had recently had a refurb my room (515) was very dated. The bathroom tiles, wood in the bedroom, internal doors and curtains were poor. Worst was the shower cubicle which was a tiny square old-fashioned cubicle with a corner door and a large step to get into. The tray showed signs of age with cracks/marks in the surface. The drainage from the shower was very poor so you stood in water for all of your shower. It rained heavily when we were there and the shower drain made really loud noises of gurgling water during heavy rain which woke me up at night. The door to the bathroom opened inwards making it hard to get in and out of and the door to the room opened out into the corridor which seemed strange. On the positive side the water pressure and bed linens were excellent. The breakfast was also excellent.

We stayed in a top cabin and it was bigger and better than expected. Mattres was fine and the people of the hotel was nice. Bathrooms are shared but at least there's private shared baths so you don't have to shower in the same room that everyone else. Worst part is that the stairs to go to the bed are very uncomfy. Overall, was nice and we would go back.

We just stayed there for one night but the location was great to explore Ljubljana. Beds inside the room were extreme good for an hotel.Reception&service were really friendly. I defeinetly can recommend this place. Only small negative point. Parking lot beside the hotel with 25 Euro per day is not so cheap.

Good location for getting to Ljubliana, or catching the freeway for excursions. Free parking onsite!! Rooms were good and had all the basics. If you can upgrade to a suite, they are great. Sauna was hot, clean and not another person in sight. Breakfast has many options, both hot and cold. Omelets can be made to order and are served hot! One morning we were surprised with octopus ”carpaccio” - delicious. The best surprise was when we were not motivated to leave the hotel for dinner - so we tried the Robin Restaurant - the hotel's main restaurant. We were hesitant but found all of the food freshly prepared and at a high level of quality. The service was excellent too and our server knew the menu and dish contents as if she herself were preparing the plates! The prices were very reasonable for the food that was served - on hot plates - as it should be! Highly recommended!!

Absolutely renovated hotel - very new, clean and much friendly stuff! Pets friendly also, but need to pay for pets extra around 15-20€. The rooms is comfortable, breakfast very good - always fresh fruits and bakery. The tea and coffee you can take for free at anytime.

Impeccable! The design of the hotel is very modern and fashionable. The staff are very kind and smiling. They took us to the gate and explained the location of the parking lot (the parking space at the entrance of the hotel is charged, 20 euros per night. The community parking lot across the road from the hotel is free. Press the button to enter and exit. It works. The staff will lift the pole remotely), and 2 welcome drinks will be given. The hotel has a bar & restaurant, and the surrounding area is also very convenient. McDonald's is nearby, the price is reasonable, and it is cost-effective. It is 3-4 kilometers away from the city center.

We stayed here for our first visit to Slovenia and this place was very impressive overall. The staff were really friendly and helpful - we were given a map of the city and information about the buses on arrival which was very useful to get us started on our trip. The room was very comfortable, the bed was roomy and the mattress was the perfect firmness. The bathroom was nice and modern and the shower was very powerful. The aircon was a bit weak and could do with upgrading, but we weren't too hot while we were staying there. The bar area was very nice to chill and have some drinks and the service was always prompt. We hadn't realised prior to booking that the hotel did not serve evening meals, but this was not too much of an issue as we ordered take out using the Wolt app and went out for meals in the city. The breakfast selection was outstanding and we really enjoyed the mini pastries and the fresh coffee. There is also a Lidl right next to the hotel which was very handy for snacks and toiletries if needed. The bus into the city was just outside the hotel and was very cheap (just €1.30 into the city centre) and only took around 15 minutues. It was a great way to see the area and they ran every 20 mins or so. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others.
