The hotel is pretty nice, though I’m not sure I’d choose the interior design colors. Room was clean when I first got it. Bathroom door wasn’t closing properly. Lots of TV channels to choose from. The walls are thin- you hear a lot of corridor noise. In general I had good time in spite of a very unpleasant incident with the receptionists (they apologized later). I wouldn’t pay extra for a castle view room as I did this time. It’s really not too impressive as you can see yourselves in the picture. Breakfast was good. Reasonable variety and fresh. Location is good. They started a pilot where they only clean your room upon request. I love the plan but! When I did ask to clean it, my mouth washing glass wasn’t changed and the room wasn’t as clean as when I first got it. I’m quite specific person and my standards are high but I do recommend this hotel in spite of the deficiencies. It’s not much to improve and I hope it will. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might not be suitable for you.

Good location just a few blocks from the old town. Small but well appointed, absolutely charmless single room. Facing an uninteresting inner court, which meant absolutely no view, but on the ther hand sheltered from traffic noice. The room was air conditioned, and there was a safe. Plenty of power sockets. Open wardrobe, with hangers and storage for things. Plenty of surfaces to put stuff, in room and also in the bathroom. Well appointed bathroom. Comfy bed. Large, well stocked buffet breakfast. (What was annoying was the queue to the coffee machine, until I found the big termos with filter coffee.) Efficient and friendly staff. Generally, it is a modern hotel providing all you need from a city hotel, if you can live with a certain lack of charmand personality.

Great place to stay in a very good location. Everything was modern and clean, and there were lots of facilities such as a kitchen, washing machines, a bar etc. We stayed in one of the log cabins on the top bunk. It was kind of fun and the bed was big, but it was quite difficult to climb up there, so would only recommend it if you are young and fairly agile. The only issue was that the person that checked us in tried to get us to pay the full amount again for the room. When we showed him the payment confirmation, he then tried to get us to pay the tourist tax (which we had also already prepaid). He said that it was only possible to pay this at the hotel, however this wasn't true as we had already paid. When we showed him this, he accepted that we had already paid, so I would recommend making sure you have all payment confirmation to hand. We also were not told that there were four different shared bathrooms (one for men, one for women, one mixed, and one with private rooms), and that the women's bathroom was out of order. Worth knowing that there are private cubicles there if you want them.

It was the best accommodation I've been to in Europe. It's very clean, the staff are so friendly, and it's just the best. If I come to Ljubljana again, I'll definitely stay here. Even though it was the cheapest semi-basement floor, it was so clean and nice that I was happy while staying here..

I almost never write reviews, but this hotel deserves them. It's the most horrible hotel in recent years. That is, for 85 euros, the cost of the standard for two, you get a dark number in which after 10 hours, if the card is magnetized, and give it one on two, it is impossible to get. No one in the hotel, and the phone number that is written everywhere if necessary is simply not working. But you can turn on the alarm to make something happen and someone has arrived. And yet you will agree to wait 40 minutes, at night until you get into the room so much fun. Breakfast: low quality products as if from the sale from the supermarket, ah da butter with the melting that has eliminated the desire for breakfast at all. So it is better to bypass this hotel, even for one night is not the best choice.

Whist I understand the hotel had recently had a refurb my room (515) was very dated. The bathroom tiles, wood in the bedroom, internal doors and curtains were poor. Worst was the shower cubicle which was a tiny square old-fashioned cubicle with a corner door and a large step to get into. The tray showed signs of age with cracks/marks in the surface. The drainage from the shower was very poor so you stood in water for all of your shower. It rained heavily when we were there and the shower drain made really loud noises of gurgling water during heavy rain which woke me up at night. The door to the bathroom opened inwards making it hard to get in and out of and the door to the room opened out into the corridor which seemed strange. On the positive side the water pressure and bed linens were excellent. The breakfast was also excellent.

Overall a good stay. Nice bright modern room and hotel. But only one USB port, the beds are VERY firm, and the shower has a hand held spray which I really dislike. Also the tub is slippery and hard to get into. The elevators were quick and there were several. I would have liked to use the stairs more but while they were clean and well lit, they were confusing about where they ended up.

Very nice hotel, I really liked the location, must of the staff is very attentive and willing to help, food is good, the rooms are big and very confortable, would stay there again. Minor inconvenient, on my last night housekeeping forgot to clean my room… hate when that happens, took more than 45 min for someone to finally get to my room

The breakfast is very convenient; the location is very convenient, the distance from Sanqiao is 150m; the room is very large, the room where I live can see the Alps, the snow on the top of the mountain is very thick, there is parking lot, and the basement also leads to the China Mall. There is also a supermarket downstairs. If you don’t have a toothbrush, you will be happy to help.

We were looking for for an affordable place not too far from the highway and the city center. Nestled in a safe residential neighborhood, this small family run business is exactly what we needed. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and service. Small parking places, gated for 5 cars. Some good recommendations nearby (walking distance) for restaurants as we couldn't eat within the premises, the F&B staff was on holiday!
