Premium Inn is a very cost-effective budget hotel in London, where housing prices are very expensive. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have kettles. Blackfairs is in a great location, right by the Thames in the city, a 10-minute walk from St. Paul's Cathedral; Gatwick Airport Line is directly accessible, and the subway is very close by, making it very convenient to go everywhere; you can walk along the Thames Citywalk when you go out

The hotel is located in the East End of London. The surrounding environment is poor, the overall facilities are outdated, the rooms are small and poorly hygienic, and there are many hairs on the sheets. In terms of price, it is not cost-effective and is not recommended.

The location of the hotel is very good. You can get to the subway and Blackfriars train station in 5 minutes. The food and rooms are also very satisfactory. The only drawback is the hotel's network. The WiFi is very slow and requires constant connection. Later, I spent 5 pounds to upgrade the 24-hour WIFI, but the connection kept dropping. I accidentally found that my mobile phone was using 4G data again, and it had to keep connecting, which was very crashing. This needs to be improved.

Very good location. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast. I will definitely choose it again. We just lost an item. I was trying to call the reception but no answer at all. I also send an email but no answer back. It was a teddy of my daughters. I just hope the reception was a bit better

Nicest staff ever. Always friendly and took time to make sure your stay was great. Great public links nearby and comfortable rooms. Great bar with 2 for £12 cocktails between 5 and 7pm and Great menu choice. Will definitely be coming back on our next visit to London

I cannot fault our stay here. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, to the time we left, everything was fantastic, and the service was above and beyond. When we arrived (we must have looked tired from a very early flight :-)) the housekeeper who we met in the luggage drop off fixed us a room right away (paid and early check in fee), nothing was too much bother. The maid also checked in to see if we had all we needed in the room! Alot of people overlook the cleaning staff, and they are so important. Everything was cleaned well, and they were all friendly. Thanks so much to head housekeeper! A smiling lovely polite lady. The young man at the restaurant deserves a special mention, Alessandro. The management should give him a big acknowlegment. He is a credit to the premier inn chain. Such a happy, helpfull and polite person. We felt very welcome in the restaurant because of him. The second evening we were there we met a lovely young woman serving who was also friendly and welcoming. She also deserves credit. The food at the restaurant was good (we ate breakfast and dinner), and it was great being able to relax and eating there late in the evening after walking around town all day. The reception staff were also very helpfull and welcoming. Things were never a problem. The room was clean, the beds were great (we had a big dobble and a single). A bath was an extra bonus. You notice the shower are now ones that save water, but that is understandable. The position of the hotell is also great. The area is quite. We didnt hear anything from our room on the 2 second floor. Not from the hallway or outside. It is a 3 minute walk to the Blackfriar station. And also the National railway to Gatwick. The tube stop is also central to everything. So I cannot fault the hotell or the staff there. They all did a fantastic job, and our stay was even better because everything was great at the hotell. If you do want to go out to a restaurant to eat, there are several about 5 minutes walk away from the hotell. Just Google the area. There is also a tesco on the corner, and across from it a super drug and small sainsberry shop. So wverything nearby. So here you are well looked after, you can sleep well, and be nearby everything you wang to see.

It was the 12th time that we stayed at Premier Inn London Blackfriars. It is one of our favourite Premier Inn hotels but it does get very crowded as all of the rooms are taken at this time of year, especially at the weekend. The lounge areas are usually noisy with lots of young children crying, screaming or running around. But I think that the Blackfriars lounge is still comfortable, although it wa sn't warm this time, with the doors opening quite often. In our room the hairdryer is always awkward or intermittent and the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working. The fan is a common fault as it has only ever worked for 2 of our last 12 visits

The reception gentleman was initially pretty slow and I could not understand what he was saying because he information was delivered so quickly it was impossible to digest what was being said. It was a premium room with ultimate wifi but there was an issue with that. It was resolved but it took 40 minutes

I stayed here for 2 nights with my Daughter, not our first stay, and overall a very positive one. The best thing about this hotel is the staff who are all really helpful and friendly. For a PI it has a solid bar/restaurant area, and is in a convenient but quiet area which is one of the reasons that we rebooked. Compared to our last stay, I wasn't massively impressed with the cleanliness of the room and I think that some may need a bit of a deep clean. The main reason for 4 rather than 5 stars was that this time we paid a bit extra for the Prem Plus room and it was really, really not worth it. The room that we were allocated was tiny, much smaller than the standard rooms that we've had in the past, and the 'extras' are mostly a bit pointless. You do get a Nespresso machine (ours was a bit dirty and leaky) and a mini fridge which was probably the biggest benefit. You are meant to get Ultimate wifi but the speed was no different to the regular wifi, and it kept dropping out so we gave up on it. The shower was lovely, but strangely we had 2 kinds of soap and no shampoo or conditioner which was a bit weird. Overall, a great base for the City and West End, but save the money and book a standard room!

Worst sleep in a premier inn I've ever had! The pillows were terrible, i spent 2/3's of the trip in pretty severe pain in my neck due to how uncomfortable the pillows were! I told staff and they told me there was nothing they could do, I'm also pregnant and good sleep is super important to me right now, so found the staff's lack of care about their guests stay and lack of even trying to find a solution really disappointing! I have stayed at this hotel earlier this year and didn't have any issues at all then, so to see how significantly the service and quality of stay has declined in such a short amount of time is shocking to be frank! Would swerve here if coming to London again!

Quiet, clean, & comfortable. Very convenient location to metro & tourist attractions. Felt very safe. Purchased the meal deal (breakfast + dinner) and felt it was a good value. Full breakfast with great selection, our 2 college kids were very happy with the selection. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were extremely soundproof, slept like babies. Would happily stay at one of these again. 'Had a wonderful thanksgiving trip!

Our stay was affected by a glitch with the hotels power system, that resulted in our corridor having no power overnight (no lights/plugs, no shower, no ventilation or heating (in November)). We actually aren't holding this against the hotel, I don't believe it was safe or appropriate, but we put up with it for the sake of 1 night. We were told we'd receive a refund for the night, due to the extent of the issues. Their guest services have since only offered us a partial refund for about half the cost of the night, which we think falls short of what was promised. Customer care is what has earned such a poor review. I did take a photo of our emergency escape route for a laugh, if you're curious what no lights, and no emergency lighting, looks like.

Was not the cleanest and did not smell great. Cleanliness and no smell is the bare minimum I'd expect from any hotel regardless of price or location. I felt quite uncomfortable because of this. The room I got was also just not ideal because it was a long walk away in the basement. But check-in and out was super easy.
