Beautiful hotel with exceptional service. My wife and I selected Nobu because it is situated outside of town and it seemed like it would be a bit more low-key than some of the other options in the greater Cabo area. We were pleasantly surprised with our selection. It was, indeed, the right choice for us as we were looking for somewhere to relax and reset. We weren’t interested in traditional tourism activities or proximity to the town; just comfortable room, good dining options, and great service in a beautiful, relaxing environment. We succeeded in those things, as the room was great, all the restaurants wherein we dined were fantastic, and the service from start to finish was outstanding. (Note: I’m sure Nobu offers plenty of options for activities, we just did not seek them. Also, we did arrange an Uber to town one afternoon and it was an easy and relatively inexpensive process - roughly $20USD) It was notably windy and could feel cold at times; the temperature of the pools could feel a bit cold too. But during the heat of day, it was quite refreshing to have that breeze and cooler water. Our service by the pool was fantastic, so overall we had a great experience. Admittedly it was a bit of a bummer that the beach area wasn’t really suitable for use during our stay (May 2023). It appears swimming is forbidden or highly discouraged at all times due to the currents, but not sure if the beach itself is more accessible when it is less windy out. Regardless, my wife and I enjoyed our time at Nobu and found our stay to be exactly what we needed to wind down and enjoy ourselves.

Hyatt Ziva Cabo! This review is geared towards those with young kids. Wife and I brought our 11 month old, and 3 1/2 year old boys. I was nervous going due to the recent reviews I had been reading. I can tell you this resort is fantastic, from start to finish and great for kids. We have been to five all inclusive. A Rio, Sandals, and Iberostar and this was overall our best experience. PROS: 1. Food: 7 or so restaurants. > Buffett was above average food, with a large selection. Freshly made breakfast burritos, fresh Guacamole and ceviche were our go to's. Plenty of food for my kids that they enjoyed. > Mexican restaurant. Good quality food > Chinese/Japanese: Normal sushi role was just okay. Ask for the specialty role, it is as good as any role we have ever had in California at a Sushi Restaurant. > Habachi Grille: Excellent! This is the only one you need to book in advance. 3-5PM, go to the lobby and sign up, you will be a few days out for a reservation. > Food by the pool: Snack bar: Had really good healthy bowls, as well as hamburgers, fries, etc. There is a taco bar next to the ADULTS pool, also very good. Take it to go with kids. 3PM a quesadilla trailer opens, also a good spot. > Itailian: Pizza and salmon were good. Not amazing. > French and Argentinian: We did not get a chance to try. French is the only 18+ * Rooms: Excellent!! Massive room, large balcony with ocean views. Room was very clean, mini bar stocked with beer, snacks and water. Bathroom good size. We were able to shower both boys in there together. * Kids activities: > Kids pool! Great pool, 3 slides, shallow water. Adults not allowed to go down slides. My 3.5 year old loved it, though I would say it is geared more towards 5-10. 2 of the slides were very fast. Also a small kids pool, about a foot deep next to it. > Kids club: did not use. You are not allowed in there with your kids. That was a bummer. I believe you have to drop your children off, probably extra charge. It would have been nice to be able to utilize the arts and crafts for my son, but were not able to. Playground next to it. > Beach. Large beach to play in the sand. No swimming at all. Very dangerous. Fatal. > Pools: BEAUTIFUL! 2 massive pools in the middle of the Resort. kids can use both. Both are very warm. One has a swim up bar. We rented a water cabana one day, I believe for about $115. Well worth it. * Shows: Great entertainment! 45 min shows, starting at 8:30PM every night. Pretty late for kids, but we kept my kids up and decided to go each night and they loved it. One show was superhero and Disney, etc. another was geared towards the show COCO. My son got to meet the superhero and coco and it made his trip. Dancing is excellent and the main singer has a Disney style voice. * Service: Excellent. Everyone was very kind, worked extremely hard. We tipped well the whole trip because they deserve it. Wages are likely low, so be courteous, they are working hard for us to enjoy the experien

I can’t say enough about this amazing resort. It’s not only beautiful but it’s also expertly managed. We’ve stayed at a lot of 4 and 5 star resorts that are beautiful but not managed well. It makes a huge difference in the experience you have. Upon arriving everyone is warmly greeted by the bellboy staff. Saul, Many, Roberto, Joel and team who take care of a lobby full of people but still manage to make you feel like you’re the most important ones arriving. The check in process is quick, efficient and super friendly with a welcome margarita stand waiting for you. The food at the restaurants are some of the best we’ve had. The room staff is amazing. And the concierges (Natalie) is always there to make your stay extra special.

I’ll start by saying the wait staff and vendors that we hired for our wedding were incredible!! This review is purely on the coordinators Vita Martinez and Elizabeth Perez. We went through 3 different coordinators in a span of 6 months. Sure, maybe not much they could do to control that. What was in their control though was how to handle a seamless transition, with a thorough handoff to the next coordinator. This never happened. We would definitively decide something, they’d still send us a proposal with the wrong info. Vita single handedly ruined our wedding. What should have been the most joyous day of our lives, was marred by her complete lack of professionalism. The first look which is one of the highlights and pinnacles of anyone’s wedding day, was when she decided to tell me that we owed them more money than the 30 some plus thousand we already paid. Mind you this final bill was confirmed several times, the first two times I had to correct their mistakes of not including my initial deposit I paid. Not sure how that’s my responsibility to remind them, but I digress. They’ve known for months and weeks what our final guest count was. They decided on our wedding day at the first look, to say they made a mistake and we weren’t meeting the food and beverage quota and wanted to charge us 3,500 more for premium bar service. Again, this information was brought to my attention the day of and at our first look!! My mood and pictures and video from that moment on are all ruined because of Vita Martinez and Elizabeth Perez. Had they appropriately and professionally approached me about it, I may have paid it willingly even though again they’ve known this info for how long and either chose not to say anything to us, or are that incompetent that they discovered their error the day of. They also charged us 1,000s for a late night snack station including churros in a custom painted cart w a bike. They never delivered the cart that we agreed on, the literal only reason I would ever pay that much for mini churros. The aesthetic instead was mini churros in glass cups. So many other things I can say negatively about them. All I’ll end with is please avoid them at all costs unless you want to feel as if you planned your entire wedding and that they’ll try to squeeze more money out of you on the day of your wedding. Again the only thing that is incredible are the wait staff and bartenders.

I went to the hotel with my family for 8 days; before our stay we were sent a mail to detail some details of our stay (preferences in the room and available activities, etc). The hotel is very good and the hotel is very good. There are several restaurants available and the quality of the food is good. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel. The only issue is that because it is not a ”all inclusive” hotel you have to pay for food/drinks; the cost is the same is MUY high, I have hosted 2 hotels in the same chain (San Miguel de Allende and London) and do not follow the same price line. (For example: a toast of tuna for almost $800, a pasta with almost $2000). so it must be taken into account in advance. The hotel is very good for rest and if you know who to do activities, you can make a lot of options during your stay.

Beautiful hotel in the town of San Jose de Los Cabos. My husband, son and I had a two room suite. It was beautifully appointed with a nice kitchen with brand new appliances. There was a great Murphy bed for my son in his room and our room had a king size bed and kitchenette. The Murphy bed is much more comfortable than a sofa bed and easy to set up. My son had his own bathroom. My husband and I had a slightly larger bathroom with two sinks. Our rooms had connecting doors. The roof top pool was gorgeous and the views of the nearby mountains was superb. I had the pool to myself most of an afternoon. The hotel is very new so the furnishings and decor are wonderful and modern. It was a short walk to the galleries and restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel. The staff was lovely and very responsive to our needs.

GGuest UserI want to spotlight an employee, Ricardo was our server while lounging on the beach portion of the resort. Ricardo was working harder than anyone I saw, constantly moving, taking orders, delivering orders, setting umbrellas, getting towels, he is a dynamo. In addition, I paid twice for an order, as it was charged to my room but I gave him cash, Ricardo honestly pointed out the mistake and gave me the money back & left it on the room charge. He also handled some rude drunk women, very graciously. This type on employee makes me want to revisit your establishment. Thank you for having him there, his is an asset to your company.

GGuest UserThe food was pretty decent, some dishes not great but overall much better than the other resort we were at first. The entertainment was also WAY better than the other resort. Lively & friendly staff. Some staff members are amazing, some are just a little slow. Triple check your information as not everyone is on the same page about how things work here. Bring small bills! It's like pulling teeth to make change here. Coffee stand isn't included in all inclusive & robs you blind, good coffee though. Beautiful scenery. Thanks to Annie, Javier, Amy, Umberto & Jeanine. They made pool side a blast. Special shout out to Jorge, best waiter around!

GGuest UserWe have positives and negatives about the staff, 2 of the guys serving drinks were great, Pelipe and Alfredo were amazing, we cannot fault them. They always had a smile and made us feel great! However Fidel Castro was unbelievably rude and unfriendly, he made us feel uncomfortable and we didn’t like this services around the pool, but we will not visit again until he is not here.

GGuest UserThis place is beautiful, 35min-1hr from the airport 30min to Cabo San Lucas. When we arrived they told us we were in a lower level room than we paid for but we’re “upgrading us for free” to the room we had actually poked to begin with. This is a resort plow I have always found to be a turn off right at check in. The staff including Rafa at aqua were fun, funny, and friendly. Glad to share knowledge and help learn Spanish terms. The room was absolutely stunning and had everything that was listed in the advertisements. We try not to stay at the same resort twice as we like to experience variety. This resort may be an exception

GGuest UserJust don't bother. I booked 2 rooms back in February for our stay in August. I paid the balance a week before the trip. When I arrived I was told that they couldn't verify the deposit I made in February or that I had paid the remaining balance. I showed them proof of both because I printed and saved the documentation for all payments. I was told by the front desk staff (Abraham and Itzel) that they close payments take a day to show up. When I told them I paid a week ago then the story changed. After them rudely telling me multiple times I had to pay $529.47 as an incidental fee whilst the lady next to us was told $200 for her incidental fee, I had enough. They said that they had to call Reservations to confirm which was conveniently closed at the time even though i called reservations 3 times that week to confirm what was needed for check in. My friend brought up to them that their contracts said $100 for incidental fees that we signed and they said their solution for us was for us to hold $200 on one card and $300 on another card implying that they thought we didn't have the money. The whole time the two of them were conversing back and forth in spanish as if I didn't understand them as they did not know that Spanish is actually my first language. At this point I opted to speak to her in Spanish to which she stared at me baffled and then called her manager Michael. Michael told us that they couldn't verify the deposit so we had to pay the money. I asked him why and he said they closed the nooks monthly so it wasn't showing on their screen. I informed him that we paid it in February and showed him proof. Therefore if you close books monthly then you have it. I informed him that I was here and heard Abraham tell the woman next to us that the fee was $200. At which point he told us that we had to paid incidentals of $200 per room and that was all. Upon getting to my room I was disappointed with how dated it was. The restaurant ans bar staff were amazing. I had a great time and much better customer service next door at the Grand Solmar. We came for a group event and all the people at the event had the same or worse experiences. At check out they had their ducks in a row on everything though in order to get money they thought was owed to them. Upon leaving the resort I discovered that I and several others are covered in rashes that appear to be bug bites. I will never stay here again.

GGuest UserAlan at the pool bar was amazing. Great smile and energy and attitude. The most redeeming quality about this place. The rooms are clean and the restaurant has a nice vibe, as well as the beach club. Do not eat anything from the room’s mini bar. I was sick one day and thought maybe I needed to eat something so I could take some medication. But, what was u able to eat it because it was so stale. And they charged us more than $5 for a tiny pack of stale chips. What was the most disappointing to us was the poor communication by both the check-in staff (who told us that they were also the manager, Marta) and the restaurant staff. When Marta checked us in, she told us that the breakfast was included and to just go to the restaurant. She clearly said that the restaurant would give us what would look like a bill and not to worry- that it would not be charged to our room but only for their records. I even went back downstairs after unpacking and asked a second staff member who confirmed what Marta had said. However, on the second day, after we ate breakfast a second time, my partner thought it prudent to ask again and was told that the only free breakfast was free was the “American breakfast” and that we were being charged about $60 for our breakfast each day! When I went to talk with the manager about it, she told me that she had said it was the American breakfast, but she did not. Neither me or my partner hears it. And the second staff member did not say that. And my reservation simply says “free breakfast included.” Nothing more specific than that. And the restaurant staff never said anything to us to clarify. Marta also said that they sent me an SMS text to explain this , but I never received any message from the hotel about this. As we told her this, Marta then tried to tell us that my reservation does not come with feee breakfast at all. Funny that she remembered telling me about my free breakfast 30 seconds earlier. So, I then had to pull out my reservation confirmation to show her clearly that it did come with the breakfast. Not only was I met with a very poor attitude, there was no attempt done to fix the problem and no apology.

GGuest UserWe were welcomed by the bellboys at the front entrance. Upon arrival, it was an easy 10 minutes to check-in, and were in our room and off to the pool within 30 minutes. The pool was nice and nothing to do with the hotel, but the pool was hot due to the weather being almost 90 degrees and sunny. The service at the pool was great, the workers have such a great attitude and are always willing to help. There is a 2nd pool overlooking the marina with spectacular views of the mountains, water, and yachts along the marina walkway. It is located within 5 minutes of downtown with tons of restaurants, shops, and music from all the nightclubs, as well as live music at some of the outdoor venues. It's very busy on the weekends and less crowded during the week. The hotel offers an all-inclusive package, however, we did not purchase it, but did have breakfast the last day and it was $20.00 USD per person. Overall, a great hotel, and we can't wait to go back !

AAnonymous UserThe staff were particularly helpful and super friendly at all times, so that made up for okay amenities (the pool was a bit cold at night and harder to go for a quick swim but we managed). We did love the beds, they were incredibly comfy and the room we got was quiet so we were able to have a restful sleep. The breakfast was okay but I would have loved some veggies that they apparently had at some point, yet never brought back out again. The coffee was pretty solid though, so that was a plus. Lastly, the location was gold-walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and places to book tours. Overall, it fulfilled its purpose for our two-night stay :).

GGuest UserOur stay at Corazon Cabo was more of a nightmare than a dream vacation, so much so that we ended up cutting our trip short. The hotel’s tasteful decor and prime location initially seemed to promise an idyllic stay. However, the reality turned out to be quite different, and not in a good way. We were subjected to an intense, incessant push for a timeshare presentation, which felt more like a scam than a genuine opportunity. Despite declining on numerous occasions (well into double digits), the sales pressure from the hotel staff was relentlessly intrusive, turning our supposed relaxing getaway into a stressful experience. The deception didn’t stop there. When we tried to book an activity through the hotel, we discovered that they attempted to charge a higher price than listed, and once again, tried to rope us into their timeshare program. These unscrupulous practices left us questioning the hotel’s business integrity. Further dampening our experience was the hotel’s decision to turn off the AC in the common areas during periods of low occupancy. This cost-cutting measure, carried out without consideration for guest comfort on sweltering hot days, was a glaring indication of the hotel’s disregard for guest experience. Room comfort was another area where Corazon Cabo failed to meet expectations. Despite the visual appeal of the room, we were plagued with a leaky shower that led to a persistently damp bathroom floor - an inconvenience that felt even more egregious given the high per-night cost of the room. Given the host of disappointments we experienced at Corazon Cabo, we ultimately decided to cut our trip short and change our flight to head home a day early. This was an unfortunate conclusion to a vacation that had promised so much. In summary, while Corazon Cabo might lure in guests with its attractive facade and desirable location, our stay was marred by persistent, high-pressure sales tactics, questionable business ethics, and a disregard for guest comfort. Until these serious issues are addressed, I would strongly recommend prospective visitors to look elsewhere for their stay in Cabo.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nice. It face the beautiful ocean and with three lovely pools. The inclusive package includes breakfast lunch and dinner. The food are average but plentiful. the problem is the two oversized receptionistsin the front desk, They checked us in late was in helpful and rude. They seem more keen to serves American than us. The female keep reminding us we are on a “cheaper” package…The manager try hard to verify the situation, but their attitude really spoilt a great holiday. The room is spacious the staffs in the guest service and restaurants are good. They’re plenty of hotels in the area I’m sure they’ll offer a better experience.
