We’ve just spent a couple of weeks here and all I can say is that the hotel is underwhelming. The breakfast is good, but the staff generally make it difficult to get served by keeping their heads down and stay focused on setting up tables for lunch before serving guests having breakfast. The rooms are clean, albeit basic and the beds comfortable. The let down here is the thin walls which have little to no noise insulation and as a result, you will not get a decent night’s sleep, nor a siesta. The tiled floors in every room don’t help nor do the maids who have to be the noisiest ever! The hotel was only able to serve drinks via the restaurant as the downstairs poolside bar and eatery was closed for the winter. On sunny days getting a drink was another mission in itself! The pool was open, but very cold. No big deal, but a cover might have kept it warm a little longer as it would have been nice. The restaurants was nice for breakfast and ok for lunch, but SO bright and sterile for dinner. We ate there once and never again. Not to worry as there are some fantastic places nearby to eat out. The location is great though and that’s why we stayed rather than check out early. Believe me we considered it every day of our stay…

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this modern, spacious parador in a fabulous beach front location. The sea-view at breakfast was wonderful and breakfast itself was delicious! We enjoyed the authentic regional cuisine and the proximity to Mojacar itself was great. Our Junior Suite was spotless and spacious.

La ubicación del Parador de Mojácar es espectacular. Y el hotel en sí es muy bonito. El personal, lo mejor de los paradores, de todos. Lo peor la gastronomía: los desayunos son un desastre con gran cantidad de bollería industrial de baja calidad. Los platos calientes se limitan prácticamente a huevos de diversas maneras. Son casi idénticos en cualquier parador, esté donde esté, sin atender a la producción local. La eliminación de la mayoría de los platos calientes se produjo durante la pandemia y ha quedado así para siempre. Para lo que se paga por los desayunos son muy mejorables. Con respecto a la gastronomía, que Paradores vende como uno de los principales argumentos, todo se reduce a nombres rimbombantes para unos platos muchas veces mediocres en su elaboración. Debería cuidarse mucho la gastronomía, porque, a este paso, va a dejar de ser uno de los alicientes de paradores. Este comentario es para el parador de Mojácar, pero valdría perfectamente para cuialquiera de los demás, con honrosas excepciones. En los últimos años, observamos que la calidad de los restaurantes está descendiendo cada vez más, mientras los precios suben escandalosamente.

El edificio, de estilo funcional, se adapta al entorno natural en el que se ubica. Dispone de cuidados jardines y ámplias terrazas como solariums junto a la piscina. Las habitaciones son suficientemente espaciosas, bien equipadas y buena parte de ellas, con vistas al mar. En el comedor, cubierto o descubierto, se degustan buenos platos servidos por un eficiente y profesional equipo, así mismo, el equipo de recepción es amable y siempre disponible para cualquier duda o consulta.

Super gepflegter Parador. Sehr ruhig im Hotel und am Pool. Am Pool waren immer ausreichend Liegen vorhanden. Tolle Frühstücksqualität und ausgezeichneter Service im Restaurant. Stets freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal in allen Bereichen.

The Hotel is great no problem there but the the restaurant and breakfast was very poor, ordered twice scrambled egg and bacon twice each time came out cold , tried the restaurant one evening ordered paella for two , the worst I have ever had clearly not cooked to order warmed up rubbish really disappointed Iam still here at the moment, I really hope they do not expect payment for such disappointing food !

Disfrutamos de una semana de septiembre muy tranquila. Desconozco cuánta gente había alojada pero no tuvimos ni colas ni esperas, y en la piscina siempre había hamacas libres. La atención es excelente, con un servicio muy atento y educado. Lo más destacable es la gastronomía con dos espacios diferenciados tipo bistró y restaurante. Si no te quieres mover mucho merece la pena la media pensión, que te permite elegir comida o cena. El desayuno es tipo buffet y el resto en el restaurante con entrante principal y postre. A mejorar la zona gym/wellness
