The staff are so lovely here. Very accommodating and always have a smile on their face. The room was very spacious which was a god send for us as we had been travelling for a few weeks in Vietnam beforehand, and some of the rooms we stayed in were quite small in comparison. They provided amenities and a stocked mini bar. The rooms are located with a few metres of the night market, and the morning market starts just outside the front gates of the accommodation. The people there were so quiet that you couldn’t hear what was happening outside of your room or on the street. We did have a bit of a giggle at the sleeping arrangements, as the bed was two pushed together, but this didn’t bother us. The door we had was a bit tricky as it was wood and seemed to get stuck… quite possibly due to humidity.. but a bit of elbow grease doesn’t hurt. Breakfast was great with fruit served along with your choice of meal. I opted for the noodle soup one morning and the second morning eggs. Very tasty. The meals were very generous. They even kindly packed us takeaway breakfast as we had a morning flight to catch to our next destination.

We have just spent 4 fantastic nights at Liberty Place. The owners are so so lovely and friendly, they can’t do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and spacious. We had our breakfast on the balcony outside which was nicely set out and decorated. The location is great right in the centre of Luang Prabang, near to the night markets and not far from the Mekong River. We did not use the bicycles however they are free to use and we used their laundry service which was done very quickly. They helped us with a situation one of our friends were in and helped book a tuk tuk when they were lost near the waterfalls without any transport. They went above and beyond to help get our friends back to their hostel when they had no way of getting back! We booked our train tickets to Vang Vieng through the guesthouse. Great price and extremely helpful. There were also other tickets, tours and trips that could also be booked as well. We would highly recommend Liberty Place for anyone travelling to Luang Prabang and we would certainly stay again.

I choose this hotel due to the decoration style and location also now rate is good. Hotel is small but convenient, location is great ; nearby by the river and tourist attractions. Staff service is excellent, all are very helpful with smile. Room is good, clean but wall and ceiling need to touch up. Breakfast is not variety, I prefer to have local foods outside the hotel.

We spent 3 nights in this small hotel. The rooms are correct, clean but very spacious. The staff is very nice and despite the language barrier, try to satisfy us as best as possible. We have to order the evening if we want eggs. Otherwise we are a group of 12 people, the only on the hotel, and a certain lack of organisation despite the good will of the hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is located along a street, so a little noise but the location is interesting for walking, visiting etc.. correct stay

Love the location which is directly by the riverside and quieter area but doesn’t compromise the proximity to Wat Xiengthong and the tourist street. We eat the same things for breakfast daily but thanks to the gorgeous view and pleasant weather , everything was cool. Room is spacious and even has a bathtub. However the TV is tiny and far away from the bed which makes it impractical to watch tv from bed.

This is one of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in! It was simply sublime! The location was perfect and serene, our room had a balcony overlooking the Mekong River. The breakfast each morning was beautifully set up right on the banks on the river and the selection was great! The food was so delicious. The true highlight of our stay was the proprietor of the guesthouse, Cuong. He was so helpful and friendly and really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was the most incredible one ever. We received a welcome drink of fresh watermelon juice on arrival and he immediately pulled up a map and marked all the points of interest for us. He would always check in with us everyday to see how we were enjoying our stay but it didn’t feel impersonal, it was like chatting with a friend. He also helped to arrange transport and there were bikes that were free to use for guests. One particularly memorable moment was when we came back from the waterfalls and said to Cuong that we were exhausted from being out in the sun and he arrived to our room a few minutes later with complimentary watermelon juice! It was such a wonderful and unforgettable experience! I highly recommend staying here for the perfect Luang Prabang getaway!

It was our first time in Luang Prabang, and we picked Kiridara based on other reviews. Rest-assured, it was a smart choice. The location was great. While not in the center, there is a market super close and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. For the rest the hotel offers a free shuttle which is on call until about 9 pm, and takes you more or less everywhere you need to go. The rooms were clean, nicely layed out and offered everything you need. If something was wrong, it was fixed quickly. The pool was refreshing and offered a great view. The drinks from then pool bar were delicious. The highlight was the breakfast. There was a small, but nice buffet plus a menu. The a la carte menu was the biggest plus. You could pick up to four dishes, each from one category, like eggs, hearty or sweet. Be sure to eat yourself through all the options, while you stay - it‘s worth it! All in all a great stay, and we will come back to Kiridara for sure for our next stay.

It's a newly built hotel, so it's clean and on the outskirts of the noisy city. It's really quiet I don't know if it's the CEO or the person in charge, but it's so They are friendly and diligently wander around the hotel all day. Maybe it's because of the management, but it's hard to find even a single piece of toilet paper. Every time I see him, I ask him if there are any inconveniences, and his English is good. no problem with communication The best thing about this hotel is the swimming pool. It is finished with tiles at a depth of 1.3M. The water quality is clean and the water temperature is appropriate, so children can Likes Breakfast is delicious and the restaurant is clean. I took a half day emountain bike this morning with 2 other people. I was super excited having paid $75 for it, had high expectations... The bike itself looked fine, however it could not handle steep hills. I asked another guest on the tour to test it as I was really struggling. He said it had no oomph or power on the steeper hills. He too ended up pushing it which he didnt have to do at all on his bike at any point. The others were motoring through pain free and they were older than me. The guide tested and said it was fine. Of course. The climbs were steep and it was exhausting. We never got to stop for photos or admire the scenery and it felt like an endurance test. We were then taken on a hike to some caves but I couldn't manage it after the exertion of getting there. The guide never checked on me and just let me go down alone. There was a van with three men in it (at this point I didn't know they were going to take my bike to the next village). As a solo traveller my first thought is my safety. Here I am waiting (no phone signal) in the middle of nowhere with these three young men there. The woman in my group observed there was 'bedding in the back'. It was unacceptable. I was then deposited I'm a village somewhere (alone) and waited for the others. Please note I am fit, lift weights and play badminton in a league. I have also played semi professional football. I gave them the opportunity to make it right but as ”the guide said it was fine” it clearly was, fine. Breathtaking. I also felt the reply had a degree of judgement in it ”difficulties completing the course” like I'm a 39st unit! There are no managers/decision makers on site. A premium price for a basic product- should have just hired a mountain bike for a tenth of the price. I hate giving bad reviews and if it had cost a bit less then I probably wouldn't but I really think people should know they are rolling the dice with this company. Absolute waste of time and money. Lunch was ok. Avoid. I feel so mugged off.
