The hotel is in an excellent location. The transfer station of Metro Line 1 and Line 2 is the entrance of the hotel. It is a distance away from the most lively Yingtianmen and Lijingmen. It is quiet in the bustling city. Because the train came, the hotel allowed check-in at 8 o'clock in the morning, which is very appreciated. The hotel service is very thoughtful, and the sour plum soup in the lobby downstairs is very delicious. However, the hotel facilities are indeed a bit old, but at this price, you can't ask for too much.

With your stay you can use the next door fitness and 50 meters swimming pool and the sauna, hot bath and showers. I would recommend staying at this hotel when staying in Luoyang!

I have chosen this hotel by recomendation of my friend. It has very good position, not far from the train station and fast to arrive to the Longmen Grottoes. I had a room with panorama windows, spacious and big. With help of translating app we managed to talk to reception. Robot is bringing things to the door. We have received very positive service from the front desk ladies. Special thanks to them for hospitality. Thanks to the manager mrs. Zhu Yan. Only one recomendation is to make at least some floors no smoking for guests who are allergic and cannot support the smell. I would suggest also to add a bell boy or a man to help with luggage, ladies helped us but it is heavy to make them do it. They work hard already. I received very nice gifts: cookies, fans and candies from the front desk. Thank you! I will come back.

This lovely hotel is as close as you can get to the Longmen Grottoes! Walk or take the hotel shuttle down the hill, and the river and grottoes are in front of you! Our room had great beds, 2 kinds of pillows (I love the buckwheat pillow, my friend prefers the regular pillow), cool air conditioning (it's hot in July), & excellent, powerful shower with high quality shampoo, etc. Although our Chinese language skills are poor, the staff were patient, helpful, & highly service-oriented, using apps to communicate with us. They explained the finer details of getting tickets to the grottoes & moving around the area. The extensive breakfast buffet was terrific, with a huge range of choices to satisfy all palates--I prefer Chinese breakfast foods, my friend prefers Western style breakfast. Both of us were full and happy, ready to climb all the stairs at the grottoes. It is necessary to mention the dinner restaurant at Dong Shang Hotel. It was excellent. Eggplant=100% fantastic! Cilantro salad=100% wow! I recommend their dinner restaurant even if you are not staying at their hotel.

The toothpaste is from Heimei. Although it is also in a small bottle, it is much larger than the ones in ordinary hotels. It is no problem to brush five or six times. The shower is also very easy to use, and the hot water comes out quickly and the water volume is large. The front desk service is also very good. The service is very thoughtful! The only regret is that although the TV is very large, you need to recharge VIP to watch movies, and you can't cast the screen. I don't know if this business can improve in the future.
