"I stayed for three nights. The hotel is located within the Tongtuo Muyu scenic area, which is small and not yet officially open, so there aren't many tourists, mostly local residents. The room was spacious, with the famous Chan River visible from the window. The windows were well-sealed; once closed, you couldn't hear the sound of the water. You can control the lights and curtains by voice, which is great for winter. The breakfast selection was rich, and the old lamb soup with bread (paomo) comes highly recommended (you need to go to the restaurant to eat it yourself). Both the staff and the cat were incredibly welcoming; the cat would even follow me to my room and actively ask for scratches. A small suggestion: the blue light on the smart toilet seat was a bit bright at night, and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off."

"This hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient for getting around and visiting nearby attractions. The staff were very kind, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff kindly helped call a taxi for me free of charge when I wanted to visit nearby tourist spots. also able to do an early check-in, which was a big plus after a long journey. The room was new, spacious, and beautifully designed. The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure in the bathroom was strong and excellent. There were complimentary snacks and unlimited drinking water provided, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Also, there is a hot pot restaurant at the street corner near the hotel — the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. If I have the chance to visit Luoyang again, I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to my friends."

"Hotel location is convenient, a short walk from Longmen HSR station. Checkin smooth and quick. Room is spacious and clean and bright. Breakfast was very good. I like that the Front desk staff are professional, friendly and helpful. especially Miss Icey Zhang who offered me her utmost assistance. She was so patient to listen and offer helpful suggestions when I approached her for help. Thanks again, Ms Icey. Will definitely choose to stay here again if we return to visit Luoyang."

"It was a really enjoyable stay: the location is very central and the subway line is only 2 mins walk away. So from the high speed line it will take you approximately 50 mins to reach the hotel. Taxi is sometimes not even fast - the price of the subway is unbeatable low compared to the taxi. The room was very clean, quiet and ideal for a couple of days. The owner was very kind and even helped with the laundry. Wi-Fi connection was top. Around the hotel you‘ll find loads of traditional restaurants, Cafés and supermarkets. A hidden gem, which I highly recommend."

"Hotel right next to Old Gate. You can see it from the rooftop terrace. Located within a renovated / rebuilt old buildings quarter. A few minutes away from the night market food street. The room is very warm and conveniently fitout. There is free parking at the back side of the hotel which is also great although the street to access is narrow. If you are using navigation it will take you to the car park entrances which is quite discreet. The main front entrance is onto a pedestrian road (the one passing through the gate)."

"This was a spontaneous trip, and I only booked the hotel and high-speed rail a day or two before departing. To my surprise, the stay exceeded all expectations. Tucked away in an alley, this guesthouse revealed a whole new world once you stepped inside – much larger than I imagined! I booked the private balcony room, and they even had a 'stove tea' setup. I thought it would be one large room with three connected king beds, but it turned out to be one room with two beds and another with one, offering both convenience and privacy for a large family. From check-in to room service and breakfast, the three ladies provided incredibly thoughtful and prompt service. The location is also very convenient, with the guesthouse having its own private parking and electric scooter rentals available. It's within walking distance to Shizi Street, Lijing Gate, and Luoyi Ancient City. The guesthouse staff also offered a range of travel tips and recommendations."

The hotel's location is a golden hub, situated in the core business district of Luolong, just over 300 meters from Kaiyuan Lake Station on Metro Line 2, a short walk away. The Quan Shun business district is right downstairs, offering convenient shopping with a full array of brand stores and supermarkets. The hotel's own dining options were a delightful surprise—the Chinese restaurant's signature crispy chicken was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, and the all-day dining buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of choices. Transportation to major scenic spots like Longmen Grottoes was also incredibly convenient, with taxis or public transport quickly accessible, saving us a lot of travel time. The stringent standards for environment and hygiene provided great peace of mind. Our room had no odors, the bedding was pristine white and soft, and the bathroom area was spotless, with not a single water stain on the vanity. The room layout was well-designed, and we were even upgraded to a room with views of Kaiyuan Lake, offering panoramic cityscapes from our window. What truly touched us was the incredibly thoughtful service. From the warm and efficient check-in process by the front desk staff to the prompt room service that replenished toiletries and drinking water on demand, every employee demonstrated professionalism and a friendly demeanor. When they learned we were celebrating our daughter's birthday, the hotel even prepared a beautiful birthday cake as a special surprise. This unexpected gesture delighted our child and made us genuinely feel a level of care that exceeded our expectations. Whether it's the location, the facilities, the hygiene, or the quality of service, the Luoyang Marriott Hotel delivered a perfect score. Especially for us, traveling as a family, it served as both a convenient travel hub and a warm haven. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Luoyang."

"The room was great, and I was very satisfied! The front desk staff was also excellent! However, one staff member at breakfast was overly chatty. Being nearsighted, I couldn't clearly make out the details on the tables. I simply spotted an empty table and went to sit down, but the staff member immediately came over and gave me a long explanation about what the table signs (indicating availability, face up or down) meant. I found this completely unnecessary; they just needed to show me to an open table! Later, I accidentally tripped a little, and they immediately told me not to disturb other guests. Seriously, what's that all about? The service in this area definitely needs some retraining! Less talk, more action, and don't judge guests by their clothes!"

"Due to an unexpected event, I ended up stranded in Luoyang and quickly chose the Ramada by Wyndham Luoyang. It turned out to be a great choice. In terms of location, it's incredibly convenient, very close to both Metro Line 1 and Line 2, about a 2-minute walk. Plus, it's near the train station, surrounded by all sorts of restaurants and shopping areas, so you can always explore and never get bored. There's a wide variety of options, especially the mall in front with numerous eateries and a huge supermarket. Within a kilometer, there's also an old-style food street, offering a different vibe. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the environment is tidy and clean. The front desk staff were efficient and quick to respond. I particularly appreciate that they considered my 'preferences' indicated during booking, arranging a relatively quiet room on a higher floor, away from the elevators. Although the hotel is on a main road, even with the window slightly open at night, it wasn't noisy. While the view outside was mostly buildings, I could still glimpse the distant city skyline. The room rate was quite reasonable, yet the room itself was spacious enough for a sofa and a coffee table, with plenty of extra space. For a short stay, having more room to move around is definitely a plus. I ended up staying in Luoyang for two unexpected days and decided to explore the area. Surprisingly, the scenery this season was quite pleasant. If I have free time when spring arrives, I'll definitely return to visit again."

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's affordable, clean, and very comfortable. The hot water was great too. It was surprisingly quiet at night. I've stayed at several places in Luoyang, and this one is by far the best – such amazing value! I regret not booking it earlier. I highly recommend it! I even wonder how the owner makes a profit at this price. I had a hanfu photoshoot during the day and forgot my facial cleanser at my last guesthouse. I went out to buy some at night, but because it was so late, I searched everywhere and couldn't find any. When I came back, I discovered the front desk had a supply of women's toiletries – how incredibly thoughtful! This is a truly excellent hotel. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Luoyang!"
