I really enjoyed the large, non-smoking room I was given, and they even moved me to a quieter location overlooking the garden. When I checked in, they also gave me a protective sleeve for my card, which was very kind of them. Throughout my stay, I felt like I was given items I didn't know I needed or didn't expect, ex. slippers for the shower, a portable stand for my phone. So at one level, the service was amazing. However, at the same time, there were elements that felt a little off--when I asked for another bed cover, I was basically told by one of the staff that I didn't need it (?), and although on the whole the staff was very nice and polite, there were times when I felt slightly made light of. I wondered if it was in part because of my travelling solo as a woman. I'm thinking about what it means to present myself, if there's something more that needs to be done. Of course, respect is earned, but I'm just reflecting here. Otherwise, I enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and the location was rather convenient as well, just was a bit noisy before I was moved.

We come to Luoyang often to visit family, this was our first stay at Rezen hotel. The hotel location is very convenient, not far walk from Wangfujing and Xinduhui, both offer restaurants and shopping. The subway is not far at xinduhui, it’s the transfer point for line 1 and 2. The hotel staff was very friendly, they delivered fruit plates to us daily and a gift after check out. We got one family room which is bigger than we expected, it has 1 king, 1 full and 1 twin, 1 bathroom in each of the 2 rooms, very spacious. The breakfast was good, but not much western food, mostly Chinese which was fine for us. Wi-Fi works well, free laundry on 4th floor. Overall, very good hotel and definitely recommend it to other travelers.

The staff are friendly and the room has a good view. The windows are big and facing Luoyang Square. The parking is good and the soundproofing is OK. But when I woke up in the afternoon, the waiter did not open the door and the response was very smart. He immediately closed the door and gave me snacks. I am a man and I am still wearing clothes. I didn’t care. 😄 Disadvantages: The view in the room does not let the sun shine in. It may have something to do with staying in a hotel every day for work. I think the breakfast is average.

Most of the guests in this hotel drive themselves. Parking is convenient and free, and transportation is convenient. Opposite the hotel is Peony Square and Peony Square subway station. Below the hotel is the very lively Guangzhou Street Night Market with many snacks. The hotel is clean, the decoration is new, the room is large enough, Xiaodu smart home control, and the basic hotel services are complete. The staff are all good, especially the floor cleaning ladies who are friendly and smiling. The housekeeper left a note and gave the child a small gift, which he liked very much. Not to mention how good the daily welcome fruit is, it’s just a piece of cake. I will give it a priority next time I come to Luoyang. I didn’t take any photos or borrow pictures.

The room booked during the May Day holiday, when I got off the train to the hotel, it was more than 5 am. The front desk clerk was very good.
