Holiday Inn Express LUOYANG LONGMEN by IHG ★★★★
"The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. It's only a five-minute walk from the high-speed train station, making it convenient for taxis and the subway. Longmen Grottoes is just a ten-minute taxi ride away. The breakfast was especially rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western options."
May fourth International Youth ★★
"This hostel is in a fantastic location, making it super convenient for getting around and exploring. It's clean, tidy, and has all the facilities you need. The staff are warm and friendly, and there's a really relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. I had a wonderful stay this time, highly recommended!"
Luoyang Xingfuli Inn (Shizi Street Night Market Luoqi Ancient City Branch) ★★
"Cozy stay, location near ancient historical town. The host upgraded room for free. Quite area, however touristic places are nearby."
Liangyi Xunji Hotel ★★★★
"Very nice room, good location, nice staff. Rooms are clean and modern."
Luoshen Bronze Magpie Hotel (Luoyang Yingtianmen Branch) ★★★★
"This hotel is a hidden gem, right next to Lijin Gate. Even though it's by the road, it's surprisingly quiet. Our room had a balcony, which our kids absolutely loved. All in all, it was clean, tidy, and the facilities were brand new. Highly recommend!"
Luoyang Sanjiu Homestay (Luoyi Ancient City Branch) ★★
"We had the best time here! We walked the Wall from Gubeikou to the stay and we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The room had everything we needed and after a full day of hiking a shower with good water pressure felt heavenly. The bed was super comfy and soft as well and very spacious! We had dinner and breakfast here the next morning too and everything was delicious and more than enough! The best part was that we got to try the new karaoke machine the owner just got! It was so much fun and he’s such a fun and kind person, we’d recommend everyone to come and stay here and we’d definitely visit again!"
Holiday Inn Express LUOYANG CITY CENTER by IHG ★★★★
"The hotel was clean and tidy, with a comfortable and quiet environment, making it very family-friendly, especially for those traveling with children. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful, making our entire stay pleasant and stress-free. The breakfast offered great local specialties, catering to various preferences. The only minor drawback was that the hairdryer in the room had unadjustable airflow and heat, which was a slight inconvenience, but everything else was perfect! We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Luoyang."
Luoyang Yuntu Light Hotel (David Tian Di Branch, Luoyang Railway Station) ★★
Yiyou homestay (Lijingmen, Shizi Street, Luoyi Ancient City) ★★
"Cleanliness: The cleaning staff did a meticulous job, very clean, I'd say it's close to Hanting's hygiene standards. The hotel has been open for a few years, but it's well-maintained; the washbasin, floor grout, and corners are basically free from mold or blackening. Facilities: It truly has zero-pressure mattresses, unlike some other B&Bs that just claim to. The whole room is smart, and controlling things with the Xiao Ai speaker is convenient. Just these two points alone, I believe, make it worth the price. Plus, the kind owner who proactively helped with my luggage, the great location, and the expansive views... those are just bonuses."

Novotel Luoyang Honden
"This is a newly opened hotel, so the facilities are quite new. The bed and pillows are comfortable. You can order room service directly from the menu in the room, and delivery takes about half an hour (everything is freshly prepared). The beef chow mein, French fries, and beef brisket noodles were all delicious (much better than the dishes we had at the 'Water Banquet' the day before). They also include a free soft drink, and room service conveniently clears everything away afterward. The Roujiamo (meat burger) and muffins at breakfast were also very good. The front desk staff and the driver who took us to the station were both very polite. On the first night of our stay, we received three complimentary soft drinks. Our standard room didn't face the road, so it was very quiet, and the soundproofing was excellent. The robot delivery service and TV screen mirroring were both very convenient. The hotel's location isn't right in the city center, but getting around Luoyang by taxi is very easy, so most taxi rides from the hotel aren't far. However, there's one thing that really bothered me: ride-sharing cars and taxis all drop you off at the main hotel entrance (on the street), when they should ideally be able to drop you off at the lobby entrance. I hope the hotel can improve this in the future. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would definitely stay here again."
Luoyang Friendship Hotel (Peony Square Metro Station)
"Felt right at home! Lobby Manager Han Peipei was incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. A big thumbs up! 👍 The location is convenient and breakfast is plentiful."
Courtyard by Marriott Luoyang
"Absolutely loved my stay! The room was spotless, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the location was super convenient. Great value for money – I'll definitely be back!"
Banshan Hot Spring Hotel (Luoyang Longmen High-Speed Railway Station Branch)
"The hotel's butler service was exceptional, making for a truly great experience. All the staff were wonderful, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, perfect for both business and leisure. The quality of service really deserves praise."
Hometown Inn (Luoyi Ancient City & Yingmen South Square Branch)
"Cleanliness: Very clean. Service: Great, just ask if you need anything. Facilities: Smart."
Luoyang Marriott Hotel
"The facilities at Luoyang Marriott Hotel are brand new, ingeniously blending ancient Tang and Song dynasty aesthetics with modern design. Located in the heart of Luolong, the hotel offers convenient transportation and is surrounded by a mature commercial district. The executive lounge and dining services are highly praised, especially the lounge. It's essentially top-tier among Marriott properties of its caliber in China. There's a good selection of substantial dishes, and the taste is not perfunctory. Ms. Cheryl Hu, a staff member, is professional and enthusiastic. Marriott elites, come give it a try! The overall hotel experience is comfortable, making it a high-quality accommodation option in Luoyang."
The Reserve Hotel Luoyang, Curio Collection by Hilton
"Back in May, when I was in Wenchang, Hainan, I passed by the Hilton Greentree and thought about staying a few nights. Its unique selling point is its proximity to the rocket launch base. Due to a tight schedule, I couldn't stay then, but the idea of finding a distinctive Hilton hotel to experience had already taken root. Upon returning to Zhumadian, the Hilton Garden Inn Luoyang popped up on my social media feeds. I saw it daily, learning about the brand's tier and style within the Hilton family. There are only a few such hotels nationwide, and the Luoyang one was newly opened. So, I booked it on Ctrip and came to Luoyang to check it out. As soon as I stepped out of the taxi, the doorman practically sprinted over, readily taking both my suitcases and backpack. This warm welcome immediately made me feel at home. Inside the lobby, the Hilton front desk team was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, completing my check-in in just 30 seconds. Now, let's break down the hotel's design style: **Figure 1: The Wall Art** This wall was created by Guo Aihe, a nationally renowned artist from Luoyang. He transformed traditional Tang Sancai (Tang Dynasty tri-color glazed pottery) techniques into a modern art installation. Each small square of glazed painting is hand-fired, with colors primarily in the classic Tang Sancai yellow, green, and blue. When assembled, they form a flowing image resembling the 'Nine-Bend Yellow River,' echoing Luoyang's deep connection to the Yellow River culture. The wall features a curved design, with ceiling lights and marble flooring creating a harmonious interplay, allowing light to refract into rich shadows and light effects from various angles. As your perspective changes, the glaze's colors and luster reveal a fluid texture, retaining the warmth of Sancai while imparting a strong modern feel to the space. As an embodiment of the Hilton Curio Collection's emphasis on 'localization,' this wall integrates Luoyang's ancient capital heritage, Tang Sancai's intangible cultural heritage, and Yellow River culture. **Figures 2-5: Public Area Atrium and Corridor** The winding light strips in the public atrium outline the macroscopic 'zigzag' shape of the Yellow River's course, serving as the hotel's central visual theme. The wall sconces in the corridors use staggered light poles to depict the dynamic ripples of the Yellow River, a secondary interpretation of the theme. Upon entering, the metallic screen, with its 'flowing curves,' replaces traditional solid walls or glass, maintaining spatial transparency while perfectly aligning with the hotel's thematic narrative, ensuring design is never sacrificed for functionality. The headboard wall in the bedrooms features staggered luminous lines within a grid, simulating the river systems/contour lines of the Yellow River as it flows through the Central Plains, bringing the 'sense of flow' directly into the guest rooms. From the lobby to the guest rooms, every detail serves the 'Yellow River' theme, creating a complete narrative loop. **Figure 6: Elevators** There are four Schindler elevators, an international top-tier brand I favor. The wait time is minimal, and they are both fast and stable. **Figure 7: Gym Equipment** The gym features Precor commercial ellipticals, another international top brand I appreciate. My room also had several familiar high-end brands: **Figure 8:** German Hafele door locks and hidden hinges, especially the black hinges, which belong to Hafele's high-end line. **Figure 9:** The wardrobe uses soft-close hinges from the professional brand Blum. **Figure 10:** The entire bathroom system is from the high-end British brand Utopia. **Figure 11:** The balcony's full-length aluminum alloy windows and door handles are from the industry benchmark, German Hoppe. **Figures 12 and 13:** These show the Wagyu beef set meal I had in the afternoon, featuring Australian M5 Wagyu paired with De Bortoli Willowglen red wine from a century-old Australian winery. The flavors were fully unleashed. **Video 1:** I must commend the Hilton team for their professional turndown service. My room was meticulously cleaned, free of hair, dust, or any overlooked spots. The hotel features Hilton's exclusive custom-designed KingKoil mattresses, signature high-thread-count sateen bedding, 90% down duvets, and four 90% down pillows. I found myself wanting to linger in bed even after it was time to get up. The shower stall has grab bars everywhere, and the bathtub even includes a headrest, demonstrating the hotel's commitment to prioritizing guest safety. The renowned British 'red label' Vision towels also caught my eye, often used by many international five-star hotels. From hand towels to bath towels, bath sheets, and bathrobes, they are all high-thread-count, high-density, and high-GSM, making them incredibly comfortable to use. Despite my heavier build, both the bath towel and bathrobe provided ample coverage. This stay was exceptionally good, and I even learned and grew from the experience at the hotel. I unreservedly give it a 5.0-star rating. My only regret this time was only booking one night on Ctrip. Zhumadian is close to Luoyang, so next time I'll bring my family and book 3-5 nights on Ctrip to fully enjoy a 'micro-vacation' and slow pace at the Hilton Curio Collection Luoyang."
Yidu Hotel (Sui and Tang Dynasty Luoyang City Yingtianmen Site Store)
"Hôtel was very goo"
Luoyi Fenghua Hotel (Luoyang Peony Square Branch)
"The room was very satisfactory and clean. You can smell the fragrance when you enter the room. The toilet and shower are separate. The mirror of the washbasin is beautifully lit. The large window has a wide view. The room is also quite large. I will come again next time. The boss's attitude is also very good. Of course, it would be more perfect if the room had a dressing mirror"
Luoyang Huamao Chunsong Hotel
"Facilities: The hotel is very new and well-designed. We booked a family room, which was spacious and featured many child-friendly touches, even a cute little toilet! Service: They offer shared shuttle services for airport and high-speed rail transfers, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. Plus, there's a free minibar and complimentary sweet soup in the evening. Their travel photography service is also quite good and worth trying."
International Hotel.LuoYang
"This hotel is located in the Luoyang New District, very close to Luoyang Longmen Station, making it super convenient to get to the Longmen Grottoes. The hotel service is excellent, especially the executive lounge with its delicious snacks and wide variety of drinks. The front desk even stamps a little 'spy' notebook for kids, and once they collect all the stamps, they get a small toy! Breakfast offers a rich selection and high quality. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time."
Fengxiang hot spring Hotel
"I loved my stay here! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for the sight seeing I went to do with my friends! After a long day walking around in the sun and heat, the cool water of the hot spring bath attached to my room was perfect to relax and get refreshed for my adventures the next day! This hotel is perfect for groups of friends, business travel, or families with children! We didn’t realize it when we booked our stay, but there is also a water park in the hotel resort, which is perfect for kids!"
Travel World Hotel
"The front desk service was warm and welcoming. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, which is super convenient for getting around. It offers great value for money, and the breakfast was also very good. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel that I highly recommend; it's very affordable and truly wonderful."
Qixun Hotel (Yingtianmen Branch)
"The location is very close to Yingtianmen Gate, and it's super convenient to take public transportation. There's also a local market nearby where you can grab breakfast. The room lighting was a bit dim, not very bright, and I personally prefer a brighter environment. The water heater was a bit noisy. Overall, the bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, and the space was decent, but the room felt a bit stuffy. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway during my stay. Breakfast was as pictured, and the taste was generally good. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out."
Ezzi Hotel
"The room was comfortable and spacious! The surrounding environment and transportation to scenic spots are convenient, with easy access to Longmen Grottoes, Yingtianmen, and Mingtang Paradise. The hotel was clean and tidy! The service was attentive and welcoming! The facilities were user-friendly! A great review! 👍👍👍"
Huamo Yizhi Hotel
"The front desk lady was incredibly helpful and even upgraded my room. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and the room was clean and spacious. Highly recommend!"
