I was staying in the hotel for one night and it feels good as the room is clean and staff are friendly. The breakfast is a good start for a visit to the Castle Church. I would recommend to others to stay there.

Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal. Wir hatten eine späte Anreise und haben glücklicherweise noch jemanden (war aber Zufall) an der Rezeption vorgefunden, der sofort die bereitgestellten Schlüssel aus dem Safe holte und uns brachte. Die Zimmer sind (wir hatten die einfachste Klasse) geräumig und sehr, sehr sauber - so wie das ganze Hotel. Es liegt wunderbar zentral. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut. Sollten wir wieder in der Gegend sein, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Arrived late, they had no cables to charge to the car. Oh well. The room was extremely hot. There was a fan, but it was defective. The church outside rings every 15min, all night. Mosquitoes swarmed in. Charge your phone? Not within 5m of the bed...

Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Fussgängerzone. Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurant in Gehdistanz. Hotel hat eigene Tiefgarage. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Superiorzimmer im 4. Stock. Das Zimmer war gross und die Betten bequem. Einzig die Grösse des Raums war «Superior». Die Einrichtung knapp Standard, ein kleiner Tisch mit Sofa und Sessel. Das Zimmer ist im Dachgeschoss und daher hat es starke Dachschrägen, welche die Zugänglichkeit in den seitlichen Teilen des Zimmers einschränken. Es hatte nur ein kleines Mansardenfester, so dass der Raum auch bei Sonnenschein ziemlich düster war. Ohne künstliches Licht konnte man nicht lesen. Badezimmer in Ordnung. Frühstücksbuffet ist ansprechend und wird auch regelmässig aufgefüllt.

Visiting a very charming town completing Martin Luther’s life path. We stayed in this hotel in a family room (4). There was a sofa bed and 3 single beds. Very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Parking is not included but it is available ground level of the hotel. We paid $12 for the night. Front desk staff were kind and spoke English.

The entire staff is friendly, helpful, courteous, goes out of its way for its guests, and is thoroughly professional.Great credit to the management for this. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable. Everything is within an easy walk, and this is a city of history changing significance. The hotel is clean. The breakfast is superb save for the sausage links, which are really bad. That, of course, is a minor thing because otherwise the food is excellent. The only thing keeping the rating 4 instead of 5 is that I was there for four nights and the room was never cleaned. Otherwise it’s a good value and a nice place to stay in the historic city.

Das Luther Hotel heißt jetzt Martas. Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer das noch nicht renoviert worden ist. Es war aber für eine Nacht absolut in Ordnung. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Gerne wieder

Vor einigen Jahren haben wir in diesem Hotel gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Gemessen allein an dem, was wir aber dieses Jahr an Lärmpegel in Zimmer 126 ertragen mussten, würde ich es nie wieder buchen. Wir wurden belästigt von Fahrstuhlgeräuschen, einem Dauergrollen aus Richtung Vordach (Lüftungsanlage?), was uns zwang, die Fenster immer zu schließen und dann kamen am Freitag -trotz Ohropax nicht abstellbar - die Discomusik und Feiergeräusche im EG unter uns hinzu. Auch im Fruehstueckssaal fehlte es zeitweise an Tellern und Schälchen, keine Chance, eine Kaffeekanne zu ergattern, weil das an sich bemuehte Personal dem Ansturm nicht gewachsen war. Weitere Dinge,die unangenehm auffielen: Dafür, dass man bei 3 Uebernachtungen auf die Putzkraft verzichtete, durfte man sich ein Getränk in der Minibar aussuchen. Wie großherzig ...Kein Aufenthalt, der Entspannung gewährte.
