Near the luxury stores & Murray Street Mall (Kmart Woolsworth). And 2 train stations & bus stops. For the price excellent location

I sent an email to the hotel to let them know that I was late in checking in, but they didn't even reply.
The shower was broken and the floor was flooded, so I had to change rooms 2 hours after checking in.
I suppose that can't be helped since it's not a 5 or 4 star hotel, but
I'd like them to do a bit more maintenance and customer service.

It was dark, the soundproofing was poor, and there was no safe in the single room. There were no slippers, and no tissues. The hotel was in the best location, which should be very CBD. There were a lot of luxury stores around, but I found it quite scary at night. I stayed there for 3 days in total. On the first night, I was smoking at the hotel entrance and two white women came to chat with me. On the second day, several black men were wandering there and cursing. On the third day, they simply stopped smoking there. I was really scared.
