Hotels Near Madrid Río Park in Madrid

Nothing wrong with hotel. The rooms were a large for a Capitol city hotel and very clean. The hotel lacked any amenities but offered breakfast next door (which added to the experience). The location is good but not in the central downtown area. It has excellent access to the tube and bus routes. We normally like to walk back to our hotels. This one took 25 minutes from the centre Sol. All down hill and mostly along a busy main road. The hotel was quiet but the area was rather run down with lots of homeless people around the rail station. The hotel was reasonably good value. If I wanted something in the centre at the same price I would probably be looking at a hostal or book well in advance. I must add, the staff in the Acta Madfor were most helpful and friendly

El día 03/4 arribamos a Madrid con mí esposa siendo el destino de estadía el Hotel Puerta de Toledo, llegamos a las 5.40 hs aprox al llegar nos recibe una persona de sexo masculino que se encontraba de turno en ese horario, quisimos ingresar por una puerta giratoria que creíamos estaba habilitada , lo cual nos dice que ingresemos por una puerta corrediza lateral automática. Una vez dentro del hotel y mientras yo me ocupaba de presentar la documentación correspondiente , mí esposa se adentra aún más al interior del hall de entrada frente a la puerta de los ascensores donde se encuentra un asiento circular , mí esposa en todo momento contuvo su mochila agarrada de ambos lados y al hacer un ademán quitándose la misma de un lado de su brazo para quit**** la campera y sosteniendo con su otra mano la mochila intentando apoyar la misma sobre el asiento para poder terminar de quit**** su abrigo , es ahí donde suceden los hechos y , en término de segundos siente una estampida de una persona que logra visualizar ( varón, alto , delgado ,tez blanca) que desde más adentro del interior del hotel arremete en forma violenta , a tal punto de sustraerle la mochila de su mano y con la misma velocidad salta pisando los asientos y huye velozmente hacia el exterior del hotel , saliendo por la misma puerta corrediza automática. En ese momento y debido al shock y el impacto violento mí esposa entra en un estado de shock produciendole una crisis de nervios . Al hacer el reclamo a esta persona encargada que nos había recibido, nos dice que ellos no pueden llamar a la policía porque solamente intervienen en casos de extrema violencia y no de hurtos o arrebatos restándole totalmente importancia al hecho!! , por lo que no quedaba alternativa de hacer la denuncia policial en forma personal , a esa hora de madrugada ,no conociendo nada , con el cansancio y frío y despues de 12 hs de viaje. Es por esto que queremos repudiar la actitud DESCORTES, INDOLENTE y DESCONSIDERADA con la que actuó el Sr de de la recepción lo cual solicitamos a la empresa que tome medidas al respecto de esta persona ya que su actitud nos hizo sospechar una franca complicidad con personas extrañas que ingresan y que operan SUSTRAYENDO! y/o ARREBATANDO! pertenencias a los turistas.Cabe aclarar que en la cámara de seguridad del interior del hotel quedaron grabados el suceso relatado . No obstante las viscicitudes de las mismas viviendo esta situación dramática, al volver de realizar la denuncia correspondiente ,esta persona ya no estaba en la recepción del hotel, encontrándose en su lugar la Srta Sandra Zimerman lo cual destacamos su labor y predisposición ya que al tomar conocimiento de los hechos automáticamente se puso a disposición nuestra tratando de tranquilizarnos como también de ofrecernos el asesoramiento y la ayuda en todo momento , para tratar de realizar las gestiones personales correspondientes. La struttura è carina, attrezzata e pulita. La camera piccola ma con tutto il necessario, il letto super comodo con 3 cuscini ciascuno!!! Favoloso!!! Spazi ben organizzati, ottima pulizia e un bel profumo ovunque. Unica pecca , il bagno ricavato all' interno della stanza con un divisore in plexiglass è davvero scomodo, la doccia è ampia ma ha solo il soffione mentre servirebbe una doccetta, anche per compensare l'assenza del bidet, il wc invece è in uno spazio ristrettissimo e la privacy è impossibile. Per questo dico che si può star bene ma per massimo due notti, poi la necessità di un bagno come si deve si avverte! Posizione ottimale per visitare il centro.

This is a five star hostel. It’s in a prime location, near puerta del Sol, churrería 1902 is just around the corner and El Corte inglés too. The beds are comfortables and the rooms have a pleasant temperature. The best part is that they offer a safe for free and it made my stay much better as I was able to leave my passport and electronics in it. You need to bring your own padlock or pay €8 in the reception to close the locker you’re assigned. The only downside is that the beds don’t have a curtain and one of the guests snored all night so I couldn’t sleep that night.

This is a nice modern hotel. It’s easy to get to from the metro and airport. It’s only a 30 minute metro into the centre of Madrid from the hotel. The room was good, only problem was the pillows were a bit thin and the window was difficult to keep open unless you wedged something in there but they’re only very minor issues and I was happily stay here again.

Ok so after reading reviews on here and on booking website it was mixed reviews I was worried and not I booked the room for £49.52 inc breakfast we was only here for one night we got a taxi from the airport to vertice roomspace it cost around €46 u can get a train however we weren’t sure where the train would stop the taxi driver didn’t know where the hotel was and stopped to ask for directions checked in fine receptionist was lovely and helpful u can pay additional for breakfast at €7 each if u didn’t book b&b the room well what can I say it’s basic I had to laugh literally a bed tv wardrobe and a desk air con didn’t work but it was cold anyway but if u come here in the summer u may wanna make sure it works the bathroom was small and the shower well u couldn’t swing a cat!!! I asked for another blanket as we were cold and they brought us one in madrid city centre isn’t far got the train which was €4.40 for x2 adults one way however cause we didn’t know how to use the ticket machine we ended up with a single so had to buy another to get bck u need the C3 line which takes u to sol which is the city centre bare in mind when u buy a ticket it only accepts card not cash but the main stations accept cash literally a 20-30 min train ride overall the hotel is ok for 1 night anymore than that I would choose something else Breakfast was standard the hot food scrambled egg sausages and bacon didn’t look every warm so didn’t touch that the breakfast was ok continental style I’ve had better breakfast else where in all honestly for 1 night it was fine the bed was comfy only thing is another pillow and another blanket and it would have been good Downstairs there is a little break room with vending machines to get food and also microwaves which I thought was a nice little touch

It was a very pleasant stay. It is close to Plenilunio Mall, about 7 minutes walking, also close to the airport. It is located in a quiet area. To be able to cook in the aprtment you need to make a deposit of 20 euros. Overall satisfied with the experience and the price

The hotel is very beautiful with common areas full of details. There are very comfortable beds and proper cleaning. The terrace and beautiful bar area with very good food. Fruit and breakfast with everything necessary. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. We have returned with the feeling that this hotel is missing a star, it is worth 3* as it is. We will certainly return. Thank you.

Habitaciones bien decoradas, de manera funcional. Baño impecable. Camas muy cómodas. Personal muy amable, servicial y joven. Los servicios de restauración, hay que pagarlos aparte. Hay minibar, pero vacío. Hay máquina de venta de aperitivos y bebidas, pero funciona, exclusivamente, con billetes de 5 €, devolviendo cambio. Inconveniente: está apartado del pueblo de Barajas, y del Aeropuerto. El taxi, desde la T1-T2-T3, cuesta aproximadamente 20 €. El taxi a la T-4, puede costar 24 € aproximadamente. Una de las ventajas que tiene, es que suele haber taxis parados junto a la puerta del hotel. El hotel queda lejos de las estaciones de metro, pero hay paradas de autobuses cercanas, que conectan con Madrid Canillejas.
