Had stayed for two nights with family, the main highlight of the stay besides clean room and excellent complimentary breakfast spread was the exceptional service by the staff right from security to cleaning each and every one of them was polite and helpful. Hotel Grand Sabarees is conveniently loacted with close proximity to the Railway station, good vegetarian restaurants and Meenakshi temple. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. The pricing is very reasonable. The staff are very courteous and try their best to help the guests feel comfortable. They even accommodated our request for an early check-in by an hour. The rooms are small and compact, nealy maintained and the bathrooms are also maintained very clean. Hot water is available 24 hours. Food from outside is allowed to be taken to the rooms - no in house restaurant is available - however, some good restaurants are available in close proximity. The railway station is walkable and so is the bus stand. We would prefer this stay when we travel to Madurai.

Extremely clean room. We loved the contemporary design. Everything looked really new when we were there. We stayed in the small room. Some might find it a little tight. But it was okay for us. Really nice breakfast spread. Only downer is that there was a little musty or damp smell in our room. Just a little whenever we entered. Other than that it was great.
