We stayed here for the second time before catching our flight home after a dive trip. It is fine for one night, the room was clean and the air con worked great. This island is man made, so space is at a premium. We booked a twin in the hope that we might have a bit more bed space, but the floor space was not really big enough to have both our dive bags open at the same time. However the staff were absolutely delightful. The rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food and service was great. We had to leave at 5.15 and there was a lovely breakfast spread out with yogurt and juices and fruit beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel is right next to the beach, gorgeous sea view from the room. The hotel staff Amy, was friendly and ever ready to give the best recommendation for a few hour walk in male, from shopping to where to shop for souvenirs and she also recommended us to take a short ferry to villemale which only cost less than $1 to and fro from Male jetty to the island. Great advice that just keep our time worth staying in Amber beach hotel.

Great hotel! Just next to the beach, the beach is so beautiful, the hotel is very new, the bed is very comfortable, and it is very clean, everything in Maldives is so beautiful, it feels like being in paradise. The breakfast is very delicious and there are many types. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for vacation. Thank you for all team staffs. We are looking forward to come again.

Overall, our stay was unpleasant. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out. When we entered the hotel they essentially made us feel that we were unwelcomed. No smile, no hello, nothing! I have never experienced this level of hospitality in my lifetime. Room size We had booked a ”Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View” (booked almost 1.5 months before) and it was supposed to be one of the best rooms in this hotel (2nd best to be precise). The room was tiny and couldn't even accommodate our luggage. Bed size It was supposed to be a ”large double bed” but it was tiny that we couldn't sleep well. We had 5 years old - already mentioned while booking. They could have simply rejected our booking by saying that the bed would not accommodate a kid. Bathroom and accessories It was again very small. There was nothing. No hand towel, soap, toothbrush, or sleepers. There was a shower gel and a shampoo. And some tiny lizards in the bathroom which was scary for my kid to use the washroom. I must mention that one of the staff was helpful in getting rid of one of those lizards we encountered and I had to shoo the rest of them away by myself. Pricing on Booking.com We paid 336$ for two nights on booking dot com and expected better rooms and services but the actual room cost which I got to know at the hotel was only 80$/night which explains why the services were not great. Booking dot com definitely fleeced us. You can directly reach out to the hotel to book the room if you're interested. Also, we had planned to spend two days in the city to explore after spending a few days on a private island. Though one day was enough to explore the city! Overall, it is a 2-star hotel and not recommended for a family. Good for solo travellers for a short stay (not more than a night). I would not recommend this hotel to a couple! The only positives were the sea view from the room and the location.

We had 4 nights 5 days stay at Kurumba Maldives. It was a very nice experience. The staff was good. The food was really very nice. Had good Indian food at Mahal . Specifically to mention “karuna” the girl at mahal was so sweet and cooperative. Breakfast was also very nice variety with few Indian options.Even the photo shoot at the resort was great fun. Very good ferry transfer service to & fro airport. To sum up a very nice n memorable experience at kurumba . Would really suggest.

My family and I were taken care of by Kishore, who was an exceptional host. He helped us from the moment we arrived until the day we departed, always making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The Hard Rock hotel is well equipped with everything one could desire on a family vacation. The swimming pool and beach have a great atmosphere frequently filled with music events and activities. The food is top notch and very diverse. Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy from a wide range of activities, such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (highly recommended), weight training center, Zumba classes and more. We will definitely return for a second round of paradise.

We would like to thank Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa for our amazing stay. We stayed a week at this resort and everything was perfect. Would like to say a BIG thank you to Yerlan and amazing Chef, who always came out to check if everything was great, also to Chamara, Dinendra, DJ-Yulia (she is perfect DJ). Also Anastasia a girl who looked after us Breakfast and Dinner Time. Prafula at the Beach restaurants - your salads and Burgers were the best. We could write a very long review, but in one word everything was SUPER good. Thank you all.

First of all, I would like to thank Ctrip for its services. It is true that the big brand is trustworthy. But this hotel is an unreliable hotel. If possible, go to another house. Near the airport, Paradise Island, Full Moon Island, or Bandos Island can be reached by speedboat. When I was picked up, I was asked to wait by the side. When I arrived, I disembarked with an African couple, because after waiting for the African couple to wait for an hour, then I went through the formalities for them first, and I waited next to me. Then when I was sending off the plane, I had a flight at 9 o'clock. He told me to go to the airport at 6 o'clock. I said that I would go to see the dolphins with your hotel group. In fact, they and Dolphin Sightseeing are both in the same hotel. They didn’t even know when the Dolphin Sightseeing came back, and then they said no to me without thinking for a second. The difference between the garden room and the superior room is the first floor and the second floor. The crows on the trees outside at night are very noisy and can’t stand it. The waiter is not good, don't come, go to Sheraton Full Moon Island or Pantos Island, Bandos is about the same fee, 93 dollars, but the diving there is beautiful, the room price is about the same, but the service of others is good. It costs $43 per person to go back and forth to Bandos. You can only practice snorkeling here, there are many reefs, it's a small island, and it discriminates against the Chinese, and the service attitude is so bad. Everyone Chinese, don't come here. I regret coming. I should spend more money to stay in other hotels. The breakfast in the hotel is pretty good. The breakfast place is open-air and the photos are beautiful. ...to enjoy your vacation. We have spent 10 days at the Bandos resort in September, and the place and staff are absolutely amazing (more about the people at the end). Unfortunately, there is currently construction work going on and we were only informed about this by our travel agent after the booking. Our beach villa did not really have a beach (yet) as this was still being prepared. The shovel excavator started doing its work at 7am in the morning and sometimes only stopped at 10:30pm. This was the unfortunate part. We do not necessarily blame the hotel for this as the renewal has to be done at some stage. The Bandos resort is soon getting 50 years old and it is good that it is being kept up to date. The new villas at the front left side are really nice. We would just have hoped that the current circumstances would have been better described on the web site and that the prices would have been adjusted accordingly. We had the all-inclusive package which is kind of a must, otherwise the vacation will be very expensive. With AI, you will have a wide choice of drinks and really good food for breakfast, at lunch and dinner. You definitely have to try the different curry's, they are excellent in taste. The best thing about the resort is its team. Everybody is fluent in English, very kind to you and can somehow read your mind and wishes that you have. The management must give their employees a really good training upfront. At dinner, Tanuj, xx, xx and xx gave us a perfect treatment. After a few days they recognized us, despite having to take care of so many visitors. Special requests, such as different beverages or food, were being taken care of right away. At the last day of our stay we had a table that was already prepared for us, The decoration looked wonderful and it almost felt like a honeymoon. The location gets 5 stars. The current construction works (and the way they are handled) reduces it down to 3-4 stars. However, the kindness of the team brings the overall impression back to 5 stars.
