Astrotel Avenida Reviews

This is a 1 star hotel which provides TV, bed, private bathroom, air con and WiFi. I stayed in a room at second level. The staff are polite and friendly. The place is clean. There is no window, no chair, no desk, no trash bin, no\missing phone, no\poor cellphone signal and cheap pillow. So this is not suitable for several days stay. I think this is only good for overnight stay. The WiFi and hot water (shower) are shared, so internet is slow and hot water can only be felt at night. The toilet (has small toilet bowl) needs to change to a better toilet bowl.

Internet was fast, associates were friendly but the bed was squeaky, Tv was blurry and cannot connect to youtube or netflix, Plugs were not working so we weren’t able to charge, beddings is not nice and comfortable. We booked 2hrs before checking in and they haven’t received the booking yet so we stayed at the lobby for way too long and we haven’t received our original room but we asked to extended check out time at 1pm. Ac was too noisy too. Would recommend for only 1 night stay but no longer than that. Price is also affordable.

The room is too small and it's so freaking hot we can't even feel the Aircon. It feels like we're being cooked in the oven. What I like about our stay is the TV cuz it's big hehe. I hope you guys clean the Aircon and put some freon on it.

The place was quite clean but we had some small cockroaches in our room... The toilet and shower were fine. The room has no windows. The futuristic design is fun. The crew is very friendly and fast when we needed help with the AC(which was working fine, we just didn't realize there was a switch in the room for it). The hotel is near the MRT station but the surroundings are poor and dirty on the streets. Especially at night. So it's fine if you just want to hope on the public transportation quickly.

They we're not expecting me to come. They cannot find my booking details, and the room was not ready. I have to wait for almost an hour because they are still cleaning my room. there's no outlet inside the room. towel is dirty, with hair on it. bad experience.

Good amenities, humble crew...

Other staffs are friendly and accommodating except for the front desk guy with pimpled face. I would like to suggest to clean and check maintenance for air conditioning because some of the rooms are very hot and the toilet is not clean.

You get what you pay for really, so don’t complain when you turn up and find out it’s not 5* accommodation. If you are a high maintenance traveller then avoid, but if you don’t mind a dodgy area and cheap accommodation then this is your place. The MRT is only a few minutes walk, close to fast food restaurants. Staff could smile a bit more though. Apart from that, all fine.

Good location! Who wanted to stay near China Town Manila, it’s perfect location. Nearby bus stops, MRT station and Chinese Gold Center.
