Oriental Zen Suites

It's not our first time to book and stay at this place, and every time, it doesn't disappoint us. Everything is a 5-star to me. From the reception area and speedy check-in system, the spacious room and amenities, and the courteous and kind hotel staff. It is located in the heart of the busy streets of Manila and very near to so many places you can roam around. Regardless if you are staying alone, with a couple or a group, this place is really a good and relax home for you. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. PROMISE, IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU!
Manila Grand Opera Hotel

Good points first: 1. Generally nice people 2. Close to a convenience store and fast food 3. Close to groceries and shops For improvement: 1. They charge for extra pillow 2. Basic breakfast, plated 3. Very tight shower and bathroom. Water splashes from shower spilled thru the whole bathroom area. Yet very small rag to wipe off the water 4. Shower drain takes time to suck in the water which causes a puddle 5. Takes time to contact them. Seems like no one is attending to them. Tried 5 times contacting house keeping, none... 6. Not enough electric outlets. Just 2 for the entire room which can accommodate 2 to 3 persons 7. They only give 1 key by default. You can request additional though.
Chinatown Lai Lai Hotel Manila
3.8/513 Reviews
Lai Lai Hotel Manila is located in the heart of Chinatown Chinatown in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Although the equipment is outdated, after all, deep in Chinatown, surrounded by restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets opened by Chinese, it is very convenient to do everything. Hotel check-in requires a passport and vaccine card, and a deposit of 1,000 pesos, which will be refunded upon check-out. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, typical Chinese food, is good. The restaurant is open from 10:00-21:00. The price of more than 200 yuan a night is not bad, after all, there are people who can speak Chinese, which is quite convenient. However, due to the large population density and small area of Chinatown, the traffic is relatively congested, and it takes more than an hour to drive to the airport.
Swiss-Belhotel Blulane Manila Philippines
4.2/5857 Reviews
During my recent 3-day, 2-night stay at Swiss-Belhotel Blulane in Manila, the overall experience left much to be desired. While the hotel had potential, the importance of providing quality service to guests seemed inconsistent. Firstly, there was a noticeable discrepancy in the service provided by the on-the-job trainees. While some displayed genuine warmth and eagerness to assist, others seemed hesitant, particularly when they perceived that a guest might not offer a tip. This attitude detracted from the overall guest experience and contradicted the essence of hospitality, which should prioritize genuine care and assistance regardless of gratuity. Additionally, the functionality of the elevators was a significant inconvenience. With only one elevator in operation, guests frequently experienced delays and overcrowding, resulting in frustration and inconvenience. This issue significantly impacted the efficiency of guest movement within the hotel and should be addressed promptly to enhance overall satisfaction. In conclusion, while this hotel in Manila has potential, there are notable areas for improvement, particularly in ensuring consistent and genuine guest service and addressing operational inefficiencies such as elevator functionality. By instilling in all staff members, including trainees, a genuine commitment to hospitality and service excellence, the hotel can elevate the overall guest experience and distinguish itself as a premier destination for travelers.

Because of the volcano in the Philippines, I arrived in Jakarta on January 13 from Jakarta. Because the flight was cancelled, it was changed to January 14. However, there was a long delay when I arrived in Kuala Lumpur. There was no way but to return from Kuala Lumpur to Qingdao. Therefore, the Philippines The hotel was last checked in, can I stay for free next time? Thank you!
Fersal Hotel - Manila

We notify our booking that we will arrive late to check in. Once we’ve arrive around 10pm, the guard help us to our bags and go to the front desk and wait for 5min to open their booking system. We just got surprised that our room is not yet prepared and one thing got irritated me is the front desk staff don’t know if there’s still rooms available but we booked the hotel 2days prior. We booked a One Queen room and only available left is a two double bed room. We have no choice just to get the last room left and the ac is not working properly and need to call a staff to fix it. Also requested to get an wake up call but no one call us and woke up about 10am late. We went downstairs and complain about what happened since last night. The front desk on duty by morning i think is an intern yet but they told us wait for someone who will assist to our issue. Another thing what happened since we woke up late and our free breakfast is until 10am only i remember and the biggest upset is we just requested for late check out since for the inconvenience we need to fix our stuff (woke up late), a random staff surprised us to open the door without having knocking down and he used master key and the staff told its check out time. I replied and said that they didn’t inform their staff and surprisingly will open the door getting out our privacy? Old hotel and bad service, I will not stay at this property again even for short night sleep
