Ein Hotel für Liebhaber eines romantisch inszenierten Ambientes. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Betten empfanden wir als sehr gut. Von der Abwicklung her hat alles prima funktioniert und die Gäste wurden sehr freundlich und aufmerksam empfangen und bedient.Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend in der City in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof und damit optimal zum Erreichen aller POI. Das Frühstück wurde sehr schön arrangiert am Tisch serviert, war gut und absolut ausreichend und auf Wunsch wird auch nachgereicht. Sicherlich eine wohltuende Alternative zum austauschbaren Mittelklassehotel „von der Stange“

We stayed at this hotel as a stopover for our train trip Berlin - Paris. Short walk from the train station. I made the reservation ahead by internet and was expected upon arrival. I knew from previous reviews that there was no elevator. The check-in was like it was 40 years ago, to include being given a real key for the room and the front door of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom clean. It was great for one night. We easily found a Vietnamese pho restaurant nearby for dinner. At the front desk one can purchase drinks and snacks. I would recommend staying here, especially if coming by train.

The people were very nice and everything was quite excellent. I especially liked the way they served breakfast to the table and what they brought. I had a nice talk to the Hotel manager, she told me the story about a Painting in the lobby that was connected to her father who ran the Hotel before.

Waren hier in Mannheim bei der Veterama. Herrliches kleines Hotel, so schoen eingerichtet und freundliches Personal. Man fuehlt sich sofort zuhause. Schoene , saubere Zimmer . Zum Empfang Wasser und gute Bonbons. Niedlich eingerichtet und sehr hygienisch. Das herrliche Fruehstueck wie im Grand Hotel. Einfach alles mit soviel Liebe hergerichtet . Es gab keinen offen Wunsch der nicht erfuellt wurde. Wir haben uns so wohlgefueht, dass wir gleich fuer das narchste Jahr gebucht haben. Es gibt viele schoene und gute Restaurants wo man gemuetlich den Abend ausklingen laeest. Die Strassenbahn halt fast vor der Tuer und mit wenig Aufwand kommt man in Museum, Maimarkt und in die Stadt. Gleich in der Naehe ist der Bahnhof. Sehr ruhig die Nacht und sie Betten sind sehr bequem. Nur zuempfehlen******

Inhabergeführte Hotels sind einfach besser! Alles ist sehr persönlich, auf individuelle Wünsche wird gerne eingegangen und man fühlt sich wirklich als Gast. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber super sauber und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ein liebevoll gestalteter kleiner Innenhof lädt zum Verweilen ein - auch dort wird das Frühstück an den Tisch gebracht. Ein Kleinod mitten in der Stadt.

Wer ein stromlinienförmiges standardisiertes Kettenhotel sucht, wird hier enttäuscht. Wer Gastfreundschaft und persönlichen Service eines inhabergeführten Betriebs schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Eine Besonderheit ist das fürstliche Frühstück, das nach Wahl zusammengestellt und am Tisch serviert wird. Zudem alles gut erreichbar: Parkhaus, Bahnhof, Innenstadt - die Lage ist perfekt!
