Grand Pasa Hotel

Very nice Really nice hotel The shows could have been better and the stage bigger wasnt alot of room around the pool could of done with proper teaspoons instead of little tooth picks to stir your tea and coffee

4 days into our holiday I became very unwell, only ate here and in return to home I was diagnosed as having Salmonella. If this had not happened I still wouldn’t say this was a 5* hotel. Most staff work very hard but this was my experience. Also, I like a lively pool area but this was far too loud for most of the day starting with a cockerel sound blasting through speakers and a good morning song. Not for me!

The Hotel is dated not 5 star and not friendly didn’t talk to my wife look straight pass her every time went to bar , First the food if your vegartian there salad and that’s it everything is cooked in same fryer chicken , chips , onion rings meats all in same big fryer and the omelette are cooked in same pan as ham and when I asked she smile and said cakes which there are a lot off them but all taste the same , And curry and batter chicken every night and not cooked properly The sun bed loungers if you get up late there none but if you give person in charge of pool 200 lira he removes towel that he’s put on I would never return to Grand pasa nothing grand And the shop on site will never leave you alone all prices in £ pound but give you change in lira And on the last day TUI forgot to pick up to take to airport 2:30 am and the reception said can’t help try telephone TUi no one there 2:30 in the morning , but the reception the person who took bag to room said get a taxi for you but because 2:30 am it will be prices £150 pound and had to pay cash TUI did pay £90 back only about 5 weeks later And I forgot you will see pigs or hogs on night out side going throw bins

Hotel was dated, needs work. Staff were miserable and couldn’t really care even when I handed the receptionist a large piece of broken glass I had found in the lobby when walking through she couldn’t care. Food was bad. Curry every single night except Tuesday. Chicken wasn’t always cooked properly which resulted in three of our party being poorly. Noise from the bar/lobby resonated through the hotel making a decent nights sleep not possible.

The Hotel Staff are friendly and the Rooms are a decent size and comfortable. Reasonably quiet and pleasant seating areas around the hotel in the evening. There were a few small niggles like food was at times not very warm and generally same options each day. Also bedding does not have sheets but instead rough throw overs. My main grievance regarding the hotel and why I did not give it a 5 star rating is that all the sun beds around the pool are taken up early and this is because if you pay the pool attendant then he will put your towels out, so quite often towels on sun beds and then these people would not arrive until the afternoon to use the sunbed, while others there could have used those sunbeds. The best beaches to go to are in Ichmeler and a short bus journey. Marmaris is nice to walk around and a nice path from Pasa to Marmaris along the sea front. The Turtle Bay trip is a good trip but a long day and would suggest taking a Jumper for journey back as does get quite cold on the boat. Otherwise I think the holiday was good good value for what we paid and definitely would revisit the region again.

1hr 40min transfer from Dalaman airport, pulled up to Grand Pasa at 2am and porter came straight out and took cases to reception for us! Check in was quick and easy, room was large and clean. We found all staff at this hotel to be friendly and spoke decent English, entertainments team were great and overall entertainment was good. Pool is really clean but cold before like 2pm, saying that we did go in October. Slides are good and our little one was constantly in and out of the kids club which opens and closes at stated times. Food I thought was absolutely fantastic, especially puddings! But the curries and chinese dishes were at British take-away level if you know what I mean, really nice and loads of variety! Lifts come quick, cleaners are constantly on the job, evening drinks on the terrace before dinner are a must, so nice when its all lit up around 6:30pm. Be careful when booking excursions as not all are kiddie friendly. Go and see Mustafa and his family down at the harbour (40min walk along beach front or 5 mins in taxi) at the Harika boat if you want a relaxing, non-crowded boat experience, he and his family are very genuine and friendly. Food at the snackbar is also very good, never had a bad beer the whole time I was there and the Mrs said the wine was nice too! Loads of stuff to do for kids and all set in a lovely hotel, reception is pretty impressive also! Don't listen to picky, bad reviews, its awesome here and we will deffo be coming back!
