Riad is very hard to find and hidden inside a small and dark alleyway. Beware there will be locals trying to show you the way to the riad then demand for tips. When we arrived at the riad we were first sat down near the pool, the staff spent 20 minutes selling extra services available (e.g. tours, private transfers at an extortionate price) and then while we were still carrying our luggage made us walk up and down the stairs to ‘explore the riad’ before we were let to go to our room. Room was not properly cleaned when we checked in with underwear from previous guest left beside the chair. The water temperature for the shower is cold to slightly warm at best.
The staff is constantly watching your movements within the riad and we cannot even take a stroll around the public areas of the riad freely.
The attitude of the staff was not nice throughout our stay when we did not purchase any extra service the staff recommended.
City tax for this riad is 35 MAD per night per guest.

It’s an old Riad but it’s very beautiful inside. The staffs are friendly and helpful! Dinners are incredible! You can tell the chefs have hearts on food. We had a really great time here.

A riad courtyard with decent decoration. The waiters are enthusiastic and helpful, but it is difficult to find and you need to pay attention to the route. The facilities and hygiene are okay, but a little old.

When I went to the place shown on Google Maps, I had to go down a very dark and narrow alley for about 5 more minutes.
It's a good thing I chased after the local who asked for a tip.
When I got there, the Riyadh staff were so pretty and friendly.
The man is very kind.
The accommodation was very pretty and nice.
Breakfast was good too

This riad is very beautiful and the hospitality is good. One problem is that the riad is located at the end of a complicated alley near Huna Square. Once you go out to the souk, I think it will be difficult to return on your own.
Dinner at the hotel was very delicious and the rooftop was also nice.

A lovely oasis away from the chaos! We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was so welcoming and helpful with the ability to switch between English and French easily. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious (I always appreciate natural yogurt and honey when I travel to help with digestion and allergies). The spa is incredible! Honestly the best massage I've had to date (and I've had a lot!) - it is worth every penny!! I also highly recommend the chicken tagine and mint tea for a poolside dinner. We had many tagines in marrakech and theirs is my favourite. I also liked the location north of the big square. It's out of the way enough so it doesn't feel to busy but walking distance from all the main sites. Fare warning the walk from the street feels sketchy but it's actually very safe and you are going the right way, just keep watching for the signs . If you're on the fence, I say book it and enjoy!

The hotel was excellent, right in the centre of the souks and very quiet/relaxing after a day getting lost! The bedroom was great and the rooftop terrace was the perfect place to unwind. Sylvie and her team were helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

A great base from which to experience all that Marrakech has to offer. Convenient location, close to the souk and many must see attractions. Loved the decor and even the adventure of accessing the Riad via the tunnel. Excellent breakfast with a range of real Marrakech breads and good coffee. And Sylvie and her friendly team will organise safe and convenient airport transfers, plus taxis if you want to venture out of the old town. A good holiday

Just came back after a 5 night stay at this Road. I guess the 5* rating is a bit far fetched. The riad was pleasant and very charming but the access to it very treacherous. We were welcomed on arrival and asked if we wanted to book a spa or other activities which we declined as we had book many things for our stay already. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for us. The air conditioning we did not use it much as we were out most days. It did leak at the end and we advised the hotel staff. There was no instructions how to use the safe in our bedroom so had to lock our belongings in our suitcases. The bathroom was fine with a small bath and shower. Once you use it there is a bad smell of drainage so luckily we were able to open the window. The staff was very friendly. We were not told of tourist tax on arrival and I found out the cost 2 days before we were due to leave how much it was per person 35 dirhams per person and per night. The last night we were asked to pay the bill and asked for it in cash which we declined as we had planned to pay for meals and tourist tax by card. This is a hotel so this should be standard practice. The thing missing was a small fridge in the bedroom so we could keep cool water for next day. I expected this from a 5*. The breakfast was a bit basic with only Moroccan bread and jam and some laughing cow cheese which is a bit odd to have in such a hotel. The other meals we had were good but quite pricey. Overall we enjoyed the place.
Response from Property: Dear Nathalie thanks for your review. just information taxes touristiques are well noted to be pay on your voucher booking your agency gave you. king regards

First visit to Marrakesh and our Riad was out of this world. We had the most beautiful room which was huge and quiet. Extra comfortable bed and stunning bathroom. Service was excellent, all the staff were so helpful with all we needed, and Sylvie was a professional, caring and generous host. Will definitely to anyone looking for a stay in the centre of the city ♥️

Very hard to find, but well worth the hunt, don’t be put off by the approach it’s a little gem inside.like being in a James Bond film set. Amazing staff, good breakfast included. Rooms very traditional and spacious. Only downside I would say no full length mirror , no area for make up with good lighting ( minor details but important in a hotel ) Also would benefit from a small fridge as in a 5 star hotel you would expect Great air con Overall loved the place

Recommended this Riad by our personal travel consultant who we trust implicitly. She didn't let us down! On arrival (tucked away from the hassle and bussle), we were greeted by Khalid and Sylvie. Mint tea was provided and welcomed after a 2 hour queue getting passed customs at the airport. Khalid gave us a lot of info and showed us around the Riad. It's beautiful, well kept and an experience in itself. The pool was closed from day 2-4 due to damage from a previous client but Sylvie kept us updated on its progress. Our 5 day trip certainly wasn't impacted by the closure. Rooms are as expected in an 18th century palace. We wanted an authentic experience and we got it. Tv didn't work but an engineer was called and it was corrected. Breakfast was good, the selection changed daily and set us up for the day, the sun terrace was lovely. We ate at the riad once and again couldn't fault the food. Boarding passes were printed for us, any questions or queries were dealt with. We would definitely come back to this amazing place. Thank you for a really fabulous stay and experience. We wish you all at the Riad the very best for the future.

Absolutely wonderful Riad and fabulous staff as well. My wife and I stayed here for a week in order to enjoy Marrakech and the surrounding area. The Riad is as amazing as the pictures look; the decor is beautiful and yes, it is an old building and you have to expect some rough edges here and there, but for us it was spotless and I cannot complain at all. During our stay in the 'Oasis' room, our air conditioning unit started to rattle and become quite noisy. Sylvie very kindly offered (insisted) that we were moved to another room so the unit could be properly repaired without inconveniencing us and to ensure we had a much more peaceful stay. The breakfast as others have said, was lovely. Every day we were served with coffee, fresh orange juice, yogurt and a range of Moroccan breads, with jam, honey and marmalade, sometimes with fresh melon as well. The staff were very attentive and helpful throughout and couldn't do enough for us. For our first day, the Riad arranged for us to have a guided walk around the city with Momo (forgive me if that's not how you spell his name). It cost 850MDH (ca. £70) but it was WELL worth it. We spent around 4 hours walking around, he showed us the directions to and from the Riad through the various souks but his tips about the taxis, street performers and places to visit etc. were invaluable. I would strongly recommend that any first time visitors to Marrakech do this. Also note that official guides in the city carry a red lanyard and ID card - if anyone offers to 'guide' you in the street and they don't have this on them, don't go. All in all, we had a brilliant time here and yes, it is a strange place to find the first time, having to navigate through a series of tunnels which you think are taking you into a dead end alley - they don't! Just trust the signs and you can find i tno problem. Thank you to Sylvie and all of the staff at the Riad, a 10 out of 10 from us and a place I will willingly recommend to anyone visiting the city.
Response from Property: Dear , Thank you for your wonderful review. We are delighted that your family enjoyed our location. it was a pleasure having you , and we hope to welcome you back soon. best regards sylvie and her staff
