Hotels Near BALENCIAGA in Marseille

Hotel very well located right next to the Perrier metro exit and 10 minutes walk from the Orange Vélodrome stadium. Several restaurants are nearby. The welcome was perfect, the hotel is clean and quiet. We will come back during our next match or weekend in Marseille.

I am so pleased with this hotel that I'm submitting a second review. I have heard others speaking of it lately and have also found it to be an excellent hotel, lovely renovation. With the most helpful, cordial staff imaginable. International service but a neighborhood feel.

The merit of this hotel is obviously its location near the old port. It is indeed ideal. As a low budge hotel, one can't expect luxury, but this hotel is lacking essentials - they claim that they exchange towels less frequently for ”saving nature” (believe it if you like), but there is a single hanger where one could hang a towel to dry. For some reason - economy, prevention of blockage? - the toilet paper is not a roll like any other place I've ever visited but meted as single sheets. It doesn't work, however, because the flushing of the toilet is so poor that the result can be revolting at times. It took an actual blockage to convince the plumber there is indeed a problem. His unhappiness of having no choice but to attend to this task was loud and clear. The guest's presence made no difference to him. Last but not least, the walls do not provide sound isolation. If the next-door neighbors talk loudly, one hears them, whether one wants to or not.

First, the hotel is just outside the station- less than 2 minutes walk. second, the entry into the hotel is as seen in the pix. little walk through and people sitting and enjoying the silence. lobby is friendly and welcoming. there is restaurant inside with lively TV/music. receptionists are welcoming and checkin was fast. nice corridors on the 2nd floor and the room for three was spacious. a sofa cum bed was comfortable. window overlooking the parking lot. gives privacy. from the hotel one can take a metro ticket 5.20 euros for 24 hours and go anywhere. the breakfast is part in restaurant and outdoors - the latter is heavenly. little fruit and vegetable plants. very good fair- detox water, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice you can make for self,...good for vegetarians too. would recommend to everyone. only positives for this hotel and it is well priced. in night one can jsut sit in open and enjoy the silence. Go for it.

The location is very good 👍 It is very close to the train station and Marseille Port, and you can walk there~ Maybe the rooms are full and I was not given a chance to check in early, but I can store my luggage for free The hotel-style apartment has a large room with two doors. The safety is relatively good~ Because I had to catch an early train, I needed to have breakfast early. After telling the person at the front desk the night before, I had it smoothly the next day. Breakfast caught up with the train

Although our stay was fine, we had a very bad experience. My brother-in-law forgot his tablet in his room. He had left it on the floor near the wall and in the morning upon drawing the curtains open the tablet was hidden behind so he didn't see it. Arriving in our next hotel destination (Villeneuve-Loubet) he realized the tablet was left in Toyoko-Inn. He immediately called the hotel and the security guy told him no tablet was found. He went to personally check the room that happened to be empty as no guest was in that room that night. He then told my brother-in-law he didn't find anything. We called the hotel again the following day and we got the same answer. We sent an e-mail to the hotel manager only to get the same answer. Since there was no other guest in that room it seems that only people from the hotel entered it. We can not believe a tablet can vanish without a human intervention so we suspect that somebody from the hotel found it but didn't deliver it to the reception. This matter ruined the remaining days of our vacation and left a bitter taste in our mouths. I sent a complaint to the Tourism Office in M****illes but they couldn't answer me as they are on public holidays! So, if you stay in that hotel double and triple check your room before you leave because if something valuable is forgotten it's more than certain it won't be recovered or compensated.

Super reception, very clean accommodation, excellent litter, well soundproofed, well located ( near the Chartreux metro), air conditioning, number (5), vase and liquid vase gel shower, filter cafe, pad and box, Mug cup set sheet, jump ballai .... Nothing misses!

Spent 2 nights here recently. We arrived by train and decided to walk. It took us about 15-20 minutes from St Charles station using Google maps. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel but we didn't manage to figure out if the line went near the station. Big, open reception area. We didn't try the breakfast but instead walked round to cafe Pomme du Pain for a crossaint and coffee (it's in front of the Leš Terrasses du Port shopping mall which is about 7 mins walk but if Leš Docks is open you can cut through to make it quicker). There were also a few cafes and small eateries inside the Leš Docks shopping area but very quiet in the evening when we went so another night we walked to the Old Port, about 15-20 minutes. There's a couple of bars on the way too. Decent size room for our stay and we had room for our 2 large suitcases without feeling crammed. It was my birthday when we arrived and staff had put some balloons and deco in our room along with some lavender and soap which was a lovely touch. It would have been good to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We were able to leave our luggage after check out for a couple of hours which was handy.

What makes this place special are the people. Yes, it is modern, tastefully designed and immaculate with great access to public transport and a couple of local treasures, the front desk with Tata, Tania and Sujata, complete with broad smiles and great local knowledge are a compliment to manager Emmanuel and Mr Fixit, Julian.
