Just next to the train station, very convenient. Also free dinner plus free breakfast.

Matsue universal hotel is a good hotel. It is located nearby train station which is more convenient to transport. I can go to the city closed to hotel. It is comfortable for me to go shopping. Bedroom is good but there is small smell from furniture. It is a big room and service is good. I recommend you to book this hotel, good price, good place and good facilities.

Bad service and not clean

The location of the hotel is really convenient, in front of Jr Matsue Station. The price-performance ratio is very high, and it even includes breakfast and dinner. It's just a little bit older, and the cleanliness needs to be improved.

The location is great, right in front of Matsue Station. It's a shame that the large public bath is no longer available.

The location is the best because it is right next to the 7-Eleven convenience store at Matsue Station. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't use the public bath because the instructions for using it were not clear, and that I requested a buffet but it was replaced with a meal for one person, which was different from the initial introduction. Matsue Castle is close, 10 minutes away by bus, and I walked there.

Breakfast and dinner were included and I was able to stay for a very cheap price. I read in a review that the room was dirty, but I didn't think anything of it. I was a bit scared when the TV turned on by itself, but I was able to sleep without it bothering me.

I'm glad that it's busy at breakfast and dinner. I booked a non-smoking room but it smelled of cigarettes. They changed it right away when I asked, but there was a used cotton swab on the floor in the room, probably because it was sudden. The staff at the parking lot had a bad attitude. When I checked in, they were intimidating and told me to leave my luggage in the waiting room. When I left, there was no "good morning"

The location was very good. I think it's cheap to have meals included at this price, but the staff at the restaurant were very considerate, which was nice, but the other front desk staff were terrible, so I don't feel like coming back. The reception staff need to be a little more accommodating!

As the hotel is close to the city centre there is no problem with eating and drinking. Although parking is free it is only for cars; for motorbikes you are directed to a private car park a little further away and have to pay separately. It was helpful that breakfast and dinner were included for under 5,000 yen. The fact that Wi-Fi can only be used in public places is a big minus. What's more, the fact that you can't charge the batteries in the room without a special charger is even more of a minus. The two large sofas in the room I stayed in clearly took up a lot of space so I wish they would consider the layout.

Unfortunately, I couldn't use the large public bath, but it was conveniently located near the station. There was no parking space for motorcycles, but I was able to park in the bicycle parking lot at the station, so I was relieved.

The parking attendant's attitude was bad and made me feel bad even before I stayed there. There were holes in the walls and it was completely different from the pictures. There were 3 beds in the room even though I was staying alone. I will not stay there again.

The hotel is right next to the JR station. The price for a twin-bed room is less than 500 yuan and includes breakfast and dinner. I didn’t expect there to be such a cheap hotel in Japan. Matsue is a small town worth visiting again! The night view of Anado Lake is beautiful
