Hotel Elisabeth

Zeer aangenaam verblijf: vriendelijk personeel, nette kamer, lekker ontbijt, dichtbij het centrum en gemakkelijk parkeren in de ondergrondse parking. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Personeel waren ontzettend professioneel en behulpzaam. Ze deden alles om ons verblijf prettig te maken. Zwembad was een hit. Onze zoon wilden niet meer uitstappen. Omgeving was ideaal. Restaurant concordantie is wel een aanrader als je van heerlijke Bourgondische eten houdt.

Centraal gelegen goed hotel voor schappelijke prijs.

We slept here 2 nights. We had a room next to reception, against the courtyard and in the corridor to the swimming pool. The room looked good. The first night we wanted to sleep around 11:30 PM. Suddenly the music was playing loudly at the reception, so fifteen minutes later we had to get out of bed to ask if the music could be turned down. That was no problem. During the night, guests came home noisily and lingered in the courtyard. We were awake again. The staff didn't say anything about it. While we were sleeping, the first guests came to the pool around 7:30 in the morning. We were awake again. The rooms are very noisy. The t****th night was even worse. We got home around 11:30 PM and wanted to go to sleep. There was a buzzing sound that went off every 3 minutes. We went to the reception again. The woman heard it too, but didn't know what it was. After complaining a third time (around 12:30 am), we looked for another room, but there was none. We were given earplugs and had a very rough night. The next morning we wanted to check out and we complained. The English speaking man behind the counter just said: I heard it from my colleague. No more. We went for a weekend to relax, but we came back completely broken.

Remarkable photography and comical text signs are the first thing you notice in Hotel Elisabeth. The room met my two priorities: quiet and a good bed. I had to open the window wide to get rid of the pungent smell. The bathroom is too minimalist: it should (and can, given the size) be more consistent. Staff very friendly during my visit. Price-quality ratio and location is good. So all in all, a more than satisfactory score.
