We had a house with a jetty on the Markermeer. House has a beautiful living room, kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms are on the small side. Ideal for swimming or sailing in a boat. Shops about 5 minutes by car.

When booking, make sure that you ABSOLUTELY book a house in the first row on the water! Our house no. 61 was a dream: well maintained, the terrace right on the water and very tastefully and fully furnished. The park is a small holiday park (76 houses) in a unique location right on the Markermeer. A spacious, beautifully landscaped park and the atmospheric harbor of Bovenkaspel with restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The beautiful, historic harbor town of Enkhuizen is easy to reach by bike or car, just 2.5 km away. Amsterdam can also be reached by car or train in less than an hour. We reached the extensive beaches of Egmond or Bergen aan Zee after about 50 minutes by car through the beautiful inland. We were able to shop in the small but fine shops in Hoorn or Enkhuizen or in the "Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet" in Lelystad. For us, an all-round successful, relaxing but also eventful vacation.
