The room was small compared to the other rooms I booked through another booking engine. The toiletries were different too. The front desk were incompetent. The housekeeping and bellmen were good.

Nice hotel in general for Madina the location is the most important in order to be close to haram I like the way of the staff; they are really polite and ready to help Breakfast is mostly Asian, is my option chef has to take extra care of bakery. Hotel needs renovation specifically the bathroom and the full furniture. One major obstacle the lighting system very complicated which no need in a hotel But for sure I’ll be back for location and helpful staff.

I'm sat in a room on the third floor inside the hotel in my room writing this review, as, yet again, another family that is noisy with their children banging the walls has moved in next door and i can hear everything due to the interconnecting doors that are locked but allow for noise to come through easily. This is the second family in the 5 day stay here (we are leaving early tomorrow morning thankfully) who have behaved in this way. It's not the hotels fault of course but the connecting doors need to be removed. Onto the pro's and con's. Pros: across the road from the haram and good for both women and mens gate entrances; amenities all close by; the house keeping staff are very helpful and attend to your needs very quickly with a smile and so please do tip; Cons: noise seeps through the walls or connecting doors; the cafe downstairs charges variable rates depending on who you are - yet they give an appearance of "professionalism", lol; if you're wanting internet connection, it is slow/cuts out and not the best; the electricity cut out twice during the 5 day stay meaning the TV and phone had to be reset by staff and the fridge started melting; they'll put you on the 13th or 14th floors and you wont think twice but you'll need to request at check in that you want a lower floor (we did this and came to learn of other families doing the same after the realisation of the lift problems); there's a queue for the lifts and you can spend sometime there waiting; the lift doors regularly trap folk in my experience as they close quite quickly, so be quick; and finally, it is a hotel that has dated decor and there was mould on the shower so definitely NOT 5 star, more like 4 or 3.

The hotel overall was ok but its claims to be 5 star which is misleading and mistakenly categorised as 5 sstar.I think ot should be 3 star and nothing more The female reception staffs were great and hardworking and very helpful. Unfortunately some of the housekeeping boys were very rude and totally unhelpful. The hotel should really look into this as they ruin the hotel's reputation. However, there was 1 boy who actually did all he could to make up for all the shortcomings of the other house keeping boys.... I can't recall his name unfortunately. The rooms was old and carpets were dirty. The water kept leaking out of the shower area and the hotel couldn't fix it...they said it's normal. I guess it is normal! The harem is only a 2 mins walk and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel rate was a lot cheaper if walk in than booking direct or via the applications.i saved about SR 1000.00 Yes!!!! They should keep a weighing machine for the lugguage as its a service definitely required by guests who want to weigh their check in lugguages. Most hotels do. The switches in the rooms were very challenging to get used to. Many switches. Need to time to learn to use them. The air-conditioning keeps switching off automatically and we had to switch them back on every now and them. For the price and distance to harem, i will recomend this hotel definitely. If they could only improve on housekeeping staffs, and cleanliness of the carpets, and fix the shower issue, this hotel can really be highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience. Duty manager was very rude and gave us a terrible room with no view. After request for room change promised to change it but did not do so. Room had dump smell. I would never book this hotel. Service is very bad. Only good thing was that reception behaved nice.

Close to the women's gate ( gate 25 seems to be a better option to get inside), but farther from baqi and rawdah. Very close to the haram. Excellent staff from the checkin desk Zaid was very professional and welcoming and the manager who allowed us a late check out as our son had heat exhaustion. Bilal, Ismael and other staff on the 14th floor were very responsive and great at what they did. Breakfast was good.

Daughter had a nose bleed whilst sleeping They refused to change sheets. After much deliberation they changed them. Then at checkout was forced to pay Sr700 For the sheets Those Arab ladies are the most arrogant people we have ever met. They treat us like second clasd people

Location of the hotel is excellent. Faizan in the restaurant was of great help during breakfast. Housekeeping needs to be looked at as often we had to remind the staff to make up the rooms. Overall a good hotel in a good location at a good rate. Tips - Twin room were a lot larger than the double room with a king bed - even the bathroom was a lot bigger and spacious. Room 916 was the twin room that was much larger than room 937.

This hotel boasts a whole lot of splendor but when we entered our room it was a great disappoint. The shower in the bathroom leaked every time we showered leaving the floor water logged. The day we arrived my son dropped a chip (French fry) on the floor. The 8 days we stayed at Al Aqeeq the chip never moved. The breakfast was terrible with long queues for eggs and a very unpleasant chef preparing them. The tables in the dining area were never properly laid out. when we left our table to get food people came and took our cutlery and serviettes off our table. During our 8 day stay we only went down abt 3 or 4 times for breakfast.

The worst hotel to ever stay in the world....service is pathetic. .useless...housekeeping is filthy....makes bed but dont clean the table...leaves all food marks on it....safes not working....still havent changed it....I will never stay here again even if its for free

We booked a triple room for 3 adults. On check in we were given a double room big enough for 2 adults. When queried with reception they offered to put a third bed in the room which would of left us no space at all in room for our bags. After numerous attempts a triple room was eventually given to us the next night. However we moved into the room and went to prayer. When we got back we could not get into our room. After making 5 sets of keys at reception we were sill not able to get into our room which took up 2 hours of our time. Eventually got the manager involved who had to get out 2 sets of technicians to eventually open the door and get the room card to work. The room itself bathtub is stained black and looks dirty. Water leaks out of shower. The shaving mirror has been removed and not replaced. Tv remote not working. I brought it to the managers attention who assisted us with the lock. It’s gone 2 nights and nothing has been done as yet I told the manager that really they need to relook at their 5 star rating and they need to remove 1 or 2 stars as rooms are bathrooms really need to be renovated. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.

At checking in we met a very rude guy who at first gave us a wrong room which was already occupied. The 2nd room we got was nasty and had stains on the sheets and wall. We couldn’t stand the bad service and moved to different hotel near by. We didn’t get any refunds back and no official apology from the management. Worst hotel ever!
