Emaar Elite Al Madina Hotel

So, booked this via an agent who I will give a separate review on later… However, this is more a 2 star hotel than a star in my opinion . Rooms are dated, bathroom smelled awful at times and the breakfast was limited and the same each day. The lifts (4) were a nightmare and were occasionally not working. The rooms we were provided were right next another building so there was a dim light at nest coming through. Albeit this was meant to be a 4 need room, this was more a 3 need with another squished in and charged to extra… That being said, there was some responsive and helpful people working there… mr nassur was great as I informed him of the room I was in and that the air con was not working as expected. He upgraded me to a larger room which just became available at no extra charge… this was facing the grand mosque and I had a view of the blessed green dome. This would have been a 1 star review had it not been for him

The hotel was booked through an agent. On our arrival later in the afternoon, the room was not ready and we had to wait for about 45 min. The alloted room had smoke smell so we requested for a change of room, which was honored. It took us about 1.5 hrs after our arrival to settle down. The hotel washrooms are too small and congested. The shower water makes the whole washroom wet and dangerous for slipping and falling. Hotel location is very good, house keeping is ok and rooms are cleaned daily with all the toiletries being replaced. Food is good with good Breakfast. Overall an ok hotel for the price and location from Masjid e Nabvi.

Decent location, short, straight walk to ladies gate 14/16. Grocery shop and souvenir shop next door. Basic facilities, no cot for babies!! Friendly housekeeping service. Waiting for the lift could be chaotic but manageable. I had a problem after checking out and their number was incorrect on the websites and they never replied to email- disappointing.

The service from themar, Fahad, Abdullah and others was really good. Try and book the Haram view room - beautiful! Breakfast was comprehensive but could do with good quality tea and coffee. I enjoyed the Indonesian option made available. Lift can take forever however that’s the case everywhere

Worst hotel ever, worse hygiene, bedsheet and pillow case were not changed, there was hair everywhere, the new bedsheet were full of bugs (videos and pictures proove it) disgusting, the wall behind the bed was also full of dead cockroaches, there was no hot water in the shower, the receptionist and the manager were very rude, so many visitors were unhappy too, the management wouldnt refund us, we were left on the street, most dirty hotel I visited, sad that it happened in Ramadan 2024. What a sad experience, I wish the ministry of health or tourism make a inspection and see the hygienic disaster of this hotel.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been. The food is awful, they don’t wash their cutlery and it’s just pure dirty. The rooms are terrible, bathrooms are filthy and there’s no hot water. Please avoid this at all cost.

I have checked into this hotel and I am very disappointed with the way Ibrahim the guy who checks people in for the food he is very rude and unprofessional. I have never experienced nothing like this and it is very disappointing especially when we have kids with us.and this is only our first day. Ibrahim was making us run like dog’s downstairs when he could have called with the phone to check with reception. Very very disappointed.
