We chose this hotel as it is classed as a 4 star hotel and it is very close to the haram (5 minute walk from gate 7 and Al Salam gate bus stop). Unfortunately, the service isn't amazing, especially the cleanliness and standards. When we first checked in, everything was nice and tidy. However, in our 4 days stay, not a single member of staff came to clean the bathroom or take out the rubbish. We had to continuously call housekeeping for this to be done and even then the bathroom had not been cleaned. Other than this, the best thing about the hotel is that it is very close to the main road where taxis are easily available as well as buses and walking distance to the haram.

We stayed at Saja Al Madinah during our stay in Medina. There seems to be a mixture of reviews here so please take my feedback as a pinch of salt. We had booked a room for 5 adults and the room was spacious and wasn't cramped. The hotel location is very good and is close walking distance to the prophet's mosque. We found the rooms to be clean and tidy, what i loved about the room were the curtains which completely block out the sunlight. You wont have the slightest clue what time it is if the curtains are drawn. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and didn't experience any issues. Check in was swift. The only negative feedback i have is that the hotel was slightly pricey..

Even though hotel is located around 12k from Masjid Nabwi but thier regular shuttle service with excellent timings for all the 5 prayers makes up fir the distance. The drop off point at Haram of the shuttle is under the haram floor so great service.
Breakfast is OK, not of a 5 star standard though and replenishing is slower, needs improvement.

The hotel location was very convenient! Just 200 meters away from the Masjid Nabawi. Very clean hotel. The pillow, bedsheet and bed were comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. we went there during Ramadan and i know people will say the spiritual experience is more important but this is something i know i have to highlight as a warning to other pilgrims we were a party of 15 adults and kids arrived late at night we had booked 3 rooms when the receptionist and the porter said we could view the rooms first never done this in my life we went to see our room it was horrible so the porter offered us a different room not a upgrade as they are roughly all the same came down to reception the price had now gone up by over £150 to what we had booked on Booking .com which my wife queried so after a lot of arguing and another change of room we got the booked price the hotel is not nice needs a major refurbishment bathrooms have showers literally next to the toilet not a pleasant experience so watch out for price increases to what you book on plus untidy look

When we entered the room the carpet was wet and the toilet floor is mouldy. Not very clean, no hair dryer but other amenities are acceptable. The hotel is located about 1km from Masjid AnNabawi but hotel provided free shuttle bus to and from Masjid every prayer, first come first serve basis. Shuttle will move at least 30 minutes before and after prayer. Have to pay for the hotel room during check in so prepare some cash or credit card. There are some convenient stores near in the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, from entrance to lobby to room. It was 14 mins walk from hotel to Masjid e Nabwi. The service was great. There was a bell captain Sezzat, especially he was very good in service even he arrange ziyarat for us with a good driver and help us to chose the room with better view. He was very active and energetic more than his job he was doing. If you'll find him take his hospitality you'll love it. Highly recommended!!!

MM.A.HI recently had the pleasure of staying at New Madinah Hotel, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is a major highlight, as it is conveniently situated near Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, making it incredibly convenient for those looking to visit and pray at the mosque.
The rooms at New Madinah Hotel were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploration. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ensuring that I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
While the hotel already offers a lot, one suggestion I have is for them to consider renewing the furniture. Although it was still functional, updating the furniture would further enhance the overall comfort and aesthetics of the rooms.
All in all, I highly recommend New Madinah Hotel for anyone visiting the area, especially for its convenient location near Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi.

AAbrar2483One of the best hotels near Masjid Al Nabawi! The staff are incredible! From the moment I arrived, Hassan from concierge assisted me with my bags and the staff at the reception were very friendly and they not only allowed me to check-in early but also upgraded my room with a partial Haram View! All the staff spoke English perfectly. The rooms are nice and spacious with modern furniture and the amenities provided in the room are perfect from bathrobes to multiple kits! The room was relatively clean however I’ve notice multiple finger prints on the refrigerator door as well as the bathroom door which shows those 2 areas weren’t wiped after the previous guests had left. The shower was perfect with nice hot water and the bathroom was spacious enough.
The hotel has 2 towers and we didn’t know which tower to go to so we ended up going to tower 1 were the receptionist informed us that our booking is in tower 2. I had an elderly guest with me and moving towers like this was very inconvenient. The hotel should inform the guests about the tower number and parking instructions before arriving at the hotel.
The hotel is very close to the Haram with just 6-7 minutes walk to both the men’s and the women’s entrance (door 11 and 12). Upon returning to the hotel, the staff were promptly situated outside the elevator doors assisting guests with the elevators.
About the breakfast. It was fantastic! The options available were great and included selections of
cold appetizers, bakery items, main courses including french toast and pancakes. The breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient and they never said no, especially Riaz he served us coffee and hot chocolate. The items were being refilled quickly. The 2 ladies welcomed us for breakfast with a huge smile.
Suggestions to improve breakfast:
1) there was no live cooking counter for omelette. The omlette was being cooked in the kitchen and was being stocked in the hot plate. It would be great if the hotel could consider introducing live counter for omelette as it really would help us guests to make the perfect omelette for ourselves and eating it warm and fresh. Other hotels do have a live counter.
2) Though all the breakfast items were great, the French toast wasn’t good at all! It didn’t taste like a French toast. The sambosas were undercooked and very chewy so wasn’t able to eat them. Improvements on this will make the breakfast experience perfect!
One more thing to add is that the staff not once said “No”. They always accommodated our requests whatsoever. I asked the reception for a plastic chair for my elderly mother to sit and take a shower, thought they didn’t have it, they offered us to switch to an accessible room with no additional costs!
The hotel is not very busy and crowded as I didn’t see any groups here. I hope the hotel can maintain this very same standard or else it’ll be very easy to be like the other hotels who don’t care about guests.
All in all, I’ll definitely choose Al Manakha Rotana again on my next trip to Madinah and wishing this hotel success!

GGuest UserEasy and thankfully an early check-in, which gave us much needed time to go visit Haram and attend to prayers. I had a 2 bedroom overlooking the haram on one of the higher floors, and it was special. Rooms are generous in size, well appointed with amenities, and 2 baths, which is great when you have teenagers who also need their own space. The hotel was conveniently located to Gate 36 of the mosque (about 8 min walk from door to door) and better for men than women who had to walk a bit further to their entrance. Apparently, the hotel offers shuttle services as well, but we didn't need to utilize it. With government requirements and regulations opening the time we got there, it was getting busier and can only imagine how packed it would be at full swing. Lots of groups and tour buses can be rather overwhelming to get lifts/elevators at times. Plus, with so many nationalities and languages, it was a real treat to try and communicate, so always be patient and have an open mind. Easy to order Uber services or taxi from front of hotel. Starbucks for coffee lovers are also available at lobby. Food/breakfast service was fresh and varied, and we never had issues with the service or the quality. Only issue came into play when I was overcharged at checkin for the room and although I caught it a few hours later and brought it to receptions attention, it took an agonzing number of follow ups and empty promises before it was rectified at checkout. Even then, it was like pulling teeth and nearly made us late for our departure. Although the hotel team tried to be helpful, just bear in mind that the concept of speed and efficiency is not the same as in NAmerica. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, even as an AllAccor member. I personally wasn't offered any additional benefits which in the grand scheme would not really have made a difference given that we were visiting one of the best places on earth!

Excellent location, short walk from towards the Masjid - the side of the Green Dome.
Also a short walk to the food market.
Friendly staff and spacious clean room - good condition bath and shower (no horrible grout work)- comfortable mattress topper - clean Tea/Coffee making facilities.
Hallway to room smells good with some sort of atomiser and lifts are fast, on either side of the hallway.
The receptionist kindly gave me an upgrade from the usual room I'd booked.
All in all, this was a pleasant and peaceful experience. I comfortably got changed into my Ihram, ready for my onwards journey to Makkah via train.

The room was clean and quiet, the bathroom was also clean. The hotel is also well located for getting to the Masjid Al Nabawi mosque ...
I would definitely come back again.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Madina.

Especially if you have women that need to access the the women's area of Masjid Nabwi. i have previously stayed at their sister branch Artal Taibah. this hotel should not be confused with the adjacent building Artal Al Munawwarah. Check-in wasn't smooth as they kept asking for a reservation number and the one provided by the site i booked on (LastMinute) was not something they would recognise. the hotel staff are all very helpful, from reception through to room service. The location is fantastic. Plenty of places to choose from to eat. The cheaper places are literally 60 second walk, if that. Want something more upmarket then less than 5 min walk to the food courts. It was a 5-7 min walk to the outer gates of Masjid Nabwi courtyard. Entry 338 which then gives you easy access to women from gates 27 onwards and easy access to gate 22 for men. This was the gem

Etc and room charge is Sar 350 and when we showed booking then he accepts as ”I mean to say tat including tax it will he 145 to 150 Sar”. Anyways we checked in as we were getting late we want to go to Salah,. Now the worst part when we entered room No kitchen, Dirty floor, Very bad condition toilets No hot water at all the geyser never works, Water leaking from bathroom taps and the flushing out from bathroom to rooms. We had to complain the staff and waited till magrib Salah we reached at zuhur Salah time, boz of them we couldn't get fresh and we missed all Salah a d time was waste. Please don't ever take this hotel all fraud and coward staff management. And and finally plumber came to fix and nothing worked and many circus happened nothing CAN BE FIXED, so at last our room was changed was changed and we had to rush to nabawi masjid for Ishaan Salah. AGAIN NO HOT WATER IN ROOMS AND THEIR GEYSERS NVER GRT HEATED LUCKILY I HAD A KETTLE I USED THE KETTLE TO HEAT WATER AND USE HOT WATER FOR MY LITTLE TWINS INFANTS.
