Apollo Resort Art Hotel

We travelled with our two teenage daughters in July 2023 and booked two rooms half board. This was our second visit to this hotel. My husband and I had Room 202 which was lovely. The air con is effective and the beds and bedding very comfortable. The cleaning was good and there were plenty of complimentary toiletries. The pool area is quiet and we could always get a sun bed. Pool towels are provided. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. There have been some changes to the Half Board since last year. Firstly every meal is eaten on the roof top terrace. This provides some of the best views I have ever seen, but there is very little shade which can make evening dining a little uncomfortable. The Half Board menu is available from 6pm until 8pm only. We were initially told 7.30pm but then it was extended by thirty minutes. As a family of four (2 bedrooms, 3 adults, 1 child) we were offered one starter to share, one salad to share, a main course each and watermelon for dessert. On one evening, our daughters were offered ice cream by the owner. The food is delicious, nicely presented and all waiter service but there is not a huge choice. There is another menu available via the Wine Bar but that is not included on the Half Board basis. Georgia, the owner, is very helpful. She arranged for our daughters to change room from the small double they had been given to a larger twin room. This is a great location for peace, quiet and relaxation and watching the best sunsets ever. If you want to explore, car hire and taxis are available.
Kyparissia Beach Hotel
4.1/542 Reviews
Have just returned from a two-week holiday with Jet2, staying at the Kyparissia Beach Hotel and we have had a fabulous time, thanks in no small measure to the quality service from Nikolaos and his team. As others have mentioned, Lefteris the bar manager is superb and deserves a special mention. The pool is excellent and forms the hub of the hotel. Freshly cleaned every morning, the water is lovely for swimming and at 12m in length, you can get some good exercise. There are plenty of loungers, places to sit either in sun or shade and the bar is always open. You can get coffees, snacks and drinks, all at very good prices. From 5:00pm until late, you can get a full meal and just over the lane is Rementzo's fish taverna if you prefer a meal at lunch time. The rooms are large and have been renovated to a good standard. The bed was huge and very comfy, we slept well. The bathroom was also large and had plenty of hot water at all times of day. Airconditioning is provided an works well, but only when the windo is closed. Our top floor room was inland facing and got very hot. I noticed that many rooms on the top floor had reflective sheeting on the roof to reduce the effect of the sun. Perhaps the rooms on the lower floor and overlooking the pool will be a little cooler. Another reason the room was hot was die to the fridge, which was pumping heat into the room. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, so you could always bring a travel kettle if you want to make your own. At breakfast there was always plenty of decent coffee, along with a kettle on the bar top so that you good make a good cup of tea. The breakfast was adequate, with a good range to choose from. The hot selection, however was rather limited, although it was different every day, and rarely more that luke-warm after 8:00am. Most of all, the wonderful hospiality, amazing generosity and truly Greek Filitimo of the Konstantopoulos family will never be forgotten. Highly recommended.
Elysian Luxury Hotel and Spa

Excellent service, but I suggest you rethink the spa pool policy in the low season. The outside pool was closed for the winter, and no point in booking a more expensive room with an attached private pool (unheated), which leaves the downstairs spa pool. Charging guests to use this for 45-minute sessions meant the pool was empty and unavailable for a spontaneous dip. Perhaps instead, you can allow a limited number of guests to use the pool at any one time. Location: There's a well-lit path into town, but it's a LONG walk. The hotel was very helpful in arranging a taxi. Breakfast was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive.
Garden City Resort
4.3/522 Reviews
I've just come back from another enjoyable holiday at Garden City. We stayed at apartment 606 which had a great view of the pool and was impeccably maintained and cleaned. The last visit (of many) was in January 2023, the pool was warm and well supervised by a very attentive Lifeguard. We enjoyed a warm welcome at the pool bar from all the staff there. The food was excellent. The sandwiches are probably much bigger than you would expect and are a meal in themselves. The apartment complex is very conveniently located for the beaches from Troya to la Pinta. There is a choice of restaurants on the doorstep, a small but well stocked shop near the complex entrance and a larger supermarket at San Eugeno shopping centre within very easy walking distance. I have no hesitation in recommending Garden City , especially for couples and families. Personally we use a taxi to come and go to the airport, the queues are not onerous and the fare around 25 euros each way. Reception can however arrange for a minibus transport to the airport if you book it a day before, which would be especially suitable for groups of four or more. Booked next visit before leaving , been there about 20 times Only gripe is sunbeds which are routinely ”reserved” by putting towels on them all day but not using them all day. However in quieter months then there are sufficient sunbeds. Its a non issue for me as I seldom use them. There's an upper pool too, which is not heated to the same level, which is a bit chilly for January but great for March to October (imo). There's plenty of sunbeds there but you'll have to walk a short distance to the pool bar.

An amazing hotel in a great location. It is a place of high aesthetics, where the visitor can experience absolute relaxation. The architecture of the buildings and the interior decoration, including the guest rooms, are exquisite. The exteriors and landscape architecture are dazzling. The beach is wonderful. Everything is meticulous in its detail. The breakfast is also excellent, providing countless delicious options. The Whatever/Whenever 24/7 concierge service is incredible. But what made this hotel stand out for me is their supreme professionalism, which I saw in the flawless manner in which they handled a minor housekeeping error. They managed to turn a flaw into their advantage, causing me not only to immediately forget the incident, but to admire and congratulate them. I highly recommend!
Pharae Palace

The hotel is fairly modern and is central to everything (bars, restaurants, beach). The staff are well organised polite and helpful. The rooftop bar/restaurant has a wonderful view and is a lovely place to chill and have a drink. Breakfast is well run with a good selection of food to choose from. Room cleaning was also very good. There are some negatives for me, which is the traffic noise at all hours especially young moped riders racing up and down not relaxing to sit on the balcony at all! I was woken up on more than one occasion in the middle of the night! The bed is comfortable enough however the shower over the bath was old and leaked out over the bath every time we used it, we tried hard to angle the shower head not too! Personally, I feel investment is needed to change to walk in showers especially as most of the customers are elderly. The beach towels was a lovely detail to have, however the bathroom ones could do with being the same size as the beach towels. Overall an enjoyable stay!
