I would definitely recommend this hotel to people and I would stay here again. It looked like it was newly renovated. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very chatty and gave us good service. Especially the two guys who worked the evening weekend shifts at the front desk. The location is perfect , parking is in a garage across the street and many bars and restaurants are within waking distance. Very good value for money!

Came for a conference in February and stayed at the hotel. At check-in, the woman who checked us in was unfriendly and made us feel like her face would break if she ever tried to smile. All I can say is stay away from this place in the winter unless you are a lizard and love hot temperatures. The rooms were literally 85 degrees and there is a sign next to the thermostat saying that in the wintertime the cooling is turned off so the only way to cool the rooms is to turn the heat/cooling unit’s power OFF and open a window. Well, the windows only open a total of 3 inches (the width of a cell phone max) and allows no breeze to come in. I ended up turning on the bathroom fan to try and pull some kind of air movement. You should not have to keep a wet washcloth next to the bed to wipe your body down to get some kind of evaporative cooling in the middle of winter when it’s 18 degrees outside, but 85 in the room at night. I rarely write a bad review for a hotel, but this was just one I need to warn others about. All of the other people from the conference who stayed there had the same stories about the temperatures of their rooms. So bad.

Started out poorly, as the receptionist was asleep (2am) and I had to climb over the counter to wake him. The dining staff were very friendly and bright for breakfast. Room was fine.

I had to book a last-minute hotel due to a flight delay. This one was more budget friendly than the other options. It also had a free shuttle bus (that I believe runs 1 per hour). The hotel is a bit run down and older as you would expect from the price but the bed was comfortable, room was clean and the check-in staff was nice. There is 1 restaurant walking distance but it closes at 10pm.

The hotel was not convenient to much but the staff was outstanding. The hospitality manager gave us great suggestions of what to see and somehow tracked down our room to leave a list of 150 things to do in Minneapolis. Definitely above and beyond what was anticipated. All the staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Will definitely stay here again if we are in Minneapolis.

At that time, 18-year-olds were not allowed to check in. I asked the taxi from the airport to help the driver to submit the documents... It was a very social experience! The front desk service is also very good, very reasonable. The layout of the room is ok, it is a bit small. Although the window inside is only half of the wall, my room is just on one side, so there are two side windows, the view is still very good, at least you can see the light right. The environment is very quiet.

The place to stay especially if you are traveling AMTRAK. Right across from the station and also easy access to public transit. Direct transport to Mall of America for only $2 each way. $1 for seniors. Highly recommend this trip. Can take the Trolly from 2 blocks away to a Twins Baseball game as well for the same price.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Four a Seasons for a quick weekend. They emailed in advance of our stay to see if we needed a car service, dinner reservations, and to gather other preferences. Everything was exquisite from start to finish. This is a brand new Four Seasons (and my new favorite)! A spa treatment is a must—I booked a massage with Lindsey and it was the best massage I’ve ever had! The only (small) minus is that the co-ed hot tub was in the same area as the indoor pool. So there are children in the area (with all that entails). But there is also. Hot tub, sauna, etc within the gendered locker rooms that are kid free, so plenty of alternative options.
HHeatherAbsolutely wonderful. I am super picky and my friends all stayed at other hotels in for a wedding. I was last minute and didn’t like what I had seen in the other hotels my friends were at so I walked down to check out this one and I was so happy I did! Love love love it. Clean and cozy and felt like an adults on the interior furnishings. Other hotels have cheap furniture and feel like dorm rooms. I was really have with this choice all the way around!!! I will definitely be back and can’t wait for their new spa to open!! Staff was great too and hotel was decorated lovely for Christmas! Great price also!
GGuest UserYou know what you’re getting with The Graduate - very comfortable and characterful rooms with soft pillows and plush carpet - but at this particular hotel we thought it had been given over to students and there was no sense of it being an exclusive space for guests. Students were sprawled around all day on lounges and tables sucking up the wifi. It didn’t feel like we were coming home at the end of the day to a welcoming and special space. We also had a very ordinary experience at check in with a young women who had zero interest in engaging with us. So much so that she didn’t tell us anything about the hotel, including that we needed to alert housekeeping if we wanted our room serviced. So we came back to the hotel at 5pm to an unmade room. It’s not an unreasonable expectation that your room will be made up for you each day in a hotel. But here, no one told us we had to ask. We also had problems with the parking boom gates not working. I’d give this place 5/5 if the front desk staff were more interested in customer service and the students didn’t treat it like their lounge room.
GGuest UserHad a wonderful one night stay at the historic Nicollet Island Inn. Beautiful location and very convenient to downtown Minneapolis, St. Anthony Main/Stone Arch Bridge area and the University of Minnesota. We had a king room that was clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious. Complimentary coffee in the morning, but no refrigerator in room. Staff was super friendly. Plenty of free parking. When you book a room, you have the option to make reservations for the restaurant, but we opted to eat elsewhere. It is expensive to stay here, but we loved it and would definitely stay again!
GGuest UserIt's literally a fun playful hotel with a bartender in it! Cozy and casual enough to make you feel you are home away from home. Check in drink was great at the bar. The bar has quality and crafted drinks. (My Old Fashioned was superb) Rooms has ton of character and are so clean. I can not wait for another stay at the Moxy Uptown again or even gather with friends from out of town. Staff makes it even more cozy there! Excellent Job Moxy Team!
GGuest UserCame in town for one night, and wanted a place downtown to stay. Moxy did not disappoint. It was close to a bunch of cool things to explore, and the hotel itself was a fun place to hang. Teresa was great at check in and made us feel welcomed immediately. I loved the complimentary drink at check in, and the lobby was a cool place to hang out. Board games, a bar, and tvs kept us entertained when we weren’t exploring. The room had an amazing view and I appreciated the super hot shower. Great value overall for the quality we experienced. Definitely recommend a stay, it’s perfect for Viking game days!
GGuest UserI had a very good experience at this Aloft. I initially checked out this Aloft because of the very affordable nightly rate. I was worried about the parking though because my car was full. I didn’t want to park in the garage across the street, so the girl at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name as she was great) made room for me in the onsite parking even though it was full (definitely reserve an onsite parking spot if you will be going here with a car). She also sent an extra chair to our room since there were two of us working, sent up extra towels, and sent towels to the pool for us. Along with the rest of the staff, she made sure to accommodate our every need, and was just really nice. The room was also very nice and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserThis is one of the places that still have a pool available and I like to bring my kids on the weekend to swim and have a family time vacation
WWingMaryCheck in was ok... Although clerk stated they were full when we arrived after midnight and we had booked thru their Res Dept. Once she found out I was a diamond member she then changed her attitude! Pool is down due to some funk in the pool
Breakfast was so so, eggs were very salty! Coffee should be available all day but they only have it during breakfast hours, however, they will give you packets for your room but no creamer so I need to run over to Walmart to grab some!
