Thank you for your help from July 1 to 4. The owner, Mr. Atsushi, was in contact with a good distance feeling that was not too close and not far away, and I had a cozy time like I was in my house. And they also provided me with detailed services such as sensible tourism proposals and activities arrangements. And the very friendly female staff always raised the place and had a very enjoyable time. I wanted to stay when I went to Miyako Island again.

It is on the slope when you get off the stone pavement of Miyako Jinja shrine. You can also see the sea from the entrance. Located in the old town called Ayado, all the traditional heritage of Taira, such as the grave of toyomi chika Nakamune, is within walking distance. If there is a problem, is it accessible by car rental? The road is narrow and access is not easy and you need to use a paid parking lot. The room is a private room, very comfortable. Wifi is available and net video can be seen from the TV in the room. Kitchen, refrigerator, bath, toilet, washing machine, etc. are shared, but there are not many guests, so you can use it comfortably. It was very quiet at night. I bought a local fish sashimi at a nearby supermarket and drank in the room with Orion beer. It was a blissful time.

I stayed alone for 2 nights. The building and rooms were very clean and comfortable. From the veranda, I could see the Irabu Ohashi Bridge and Irabu Island, and I spent a relaxing time looking at the sea. The airport and Maehama beach were very close and other attractions were easy to access. Above all, there are Max Valley, drug stores, consumer electronics mass retailers, McDonald's, DAISO, etc. in front of you, and you can procure it locally without bringing your luggage from home. When I participated in the tour late at night, I was late to go home and couldn't eat, so I bought alcohol and side dishes at Max Valley, which is open 24 hours a day, and drank in the room, but it was really helpful. Breakfast was also very delicious with a lot of Okinawa cuisine buffet. I would like to use it next time.
Iraph Sui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Miyako Okinawa

Avoid at all costs. This hotel is 3 stars at best and charges 5 star rates. The property only benefits from its stunning views and location which is not unique and can be achieved anywhere on Miyako. The mid level room was over $1000 and was nowhere near the quality of the other luxury hotels we have stayed at on our two week honeymoon. All of the reviews that are glowing are surely from guests who do not know what a $1000 hotel experience should be. The service at dinner was unbearably slow nearly 2 hours to deliver 1 soup 1 salad and 1 entree. Water was never filled. Our server was so preoccupied in long conversations with other Japanese guests and tables with loud and disruptive children. Lastly the bed was unbearably hard. I know this is a personal preference but trust me there was something wrong with this bed. A hard foam bed with zero fluffy surface at all equivalent to putting a 1cm foam pad on the floor. You will be much happier staying at the brand new hilton hotel.

Great location if you want to stay in the middle of town surrounded by eateries. Two of my favorites in Miyako are right across the street: 南楽 - izakaya and ラトゥール (La Tour) - cake shop specializing in many kinds of cheese cakes. Then Bistro Pierrot - french cuisine around 3 streets away should also not be missed. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and staff friendly. Rooms are of good size though amenities are rather basic. Good thing they have free laundry machines and dryers in the corridors, and breakfast included. However, for a longer stay, I would prefer personally to stay closer to nature on this beautiful island.
