Why not 5/5 you might ask? On the 2nd night the reception gave a gay couple the key to my room. I found out about it when they walked in at around 10PM as I was falling asleep. They must have thought I was a present from the hotel. Little to say the unnecessary awkward minute interaction lead to inability to sleep for the next 2 hours and a consequent drop in efficiency at work the next day. The hotel cleaning staff drops a discount card under your door if you don't want your room cleaned, which is a cute gesture from their side. Nonetheless, the first day a week after I decided to let them clean the room, the staff mistaken my bag with toothbrush, paste, shaving cream, razor and nail scissors for a garbage bag and threw it out. Other than they let me use their microwave and offered their restaurant cook to boil the rice I wanted to cook myself. The hotel staff is extremely friendly. The suppressing majority of interactions were very pleasant, and a few neutral. No bad ones tho.

After a difficult night, because it makes caniculous and the rooms do not have air conditioning, direction Petit-Déjeunet buffet. Nothing special. The machine coffee is good. The rest is unfortunately “industrial”. The hotel is very good for 1 or 2 nights if you want to discover Mons, its monuments and museums.
