PAULO TADEU

Among the five hotels I stayed in in Tuscany, this was the one that generated the most expectations, but it ended up being the worst.
The facilities did not at all meet the standard expected of a 5-star hotel: The swimming pools were closed and were not heated. We were only able to enjoy the spa pool, which is very small compared to the size of the hotel. In the triple room, although the ground floor was good, the one on the top floor only had a bed, nor was there a socket to charge the cell phone. They forgot to put towels and robes for 3 guests.
The customer service also left something to be desired. When dining at the restaurant, despite there being seats available in the more upscale area, they placed us at the bar, in a more isolated area, making us feel excluded.
The rooms were still inadequately cleaned, and the staff seemed unprepared to deal with guest concerns. The hotel's response to the insect situation, after finding more than 20 in the room, was to state that this is common and there is no solution (although in the other 4 hotels in the region, I had no problem with this).
I recommend that the hotel review its cleaning, maintenance and team training procedures to ensure that future guests enjoy a more comfortable stay in line with the standards of a 5-star hotel.
What surprised us was the half-board dinner, which was spectacular and very well served. The breakfast is also quite complete. The outside area is beautiful.
