This was kind of a last minute reservation as we cut out time short from the prior property and needed a quick replacement. We took the only room left which was on the first floor to the right immediately upon entrance to the hotel ~ the office was right across the hall. Typically, the only time someone is there is when you check in/out so it's important to make sure of your timing. We weren't able to make connection so had a difficult time getting someone to let us in, but eventually did. The lady who greeted us and helped us get settled felt really badly for us as we hadn't had a meal since breakfast and everything was closed until much later in the evening as there was a big yearly celebration about to take place (we barely got our luggage out of the car and parked about a mile away before all the roads were blocked). Anyway, this very gracious lady, went into the kitchen and made us a simple but delicious meal ~ we were treated so well, it was a wonderful treat. Our room was not real large and we had to go up a flight of stairs to the bath room, but it was very clean and comfortable. Any negatives would be overruled by the location ~ right on the main piazza in the middle of everything. One feels very safe walking around at night and enjoying the town after the tourist crowds leave. The breakfasts were very nicely prepared with plenty of choices making it a good meal to begin the day. We could have moved to one of the bigger, and more luxurious rooms after the first night but decided it wasn't worth all the extra moving. There is no parking right on the property, but we were given great directions to an area that one can find parking after the tourists leave. You can drive your car to the hotel's front door, unload, and then move it to wherever you can find a spot if it's during the day. If it happens to be during the yearly festival, you need to plan to park and walk a loooong way!! Most certainly, I'd stay here again and would very much recommend the property.
